The advanced drone pilot option is required if the character desires a Pilot rating greater than 1. Note that vehicles equipped with remote control Interfaces have a base Pilot rating of 1.
A Rating 5 pilots are the most advanced pilot programs outside of Research & Development. Possessing the latest advances In expert systems and symbolic manipulation. Level 5 pilots are the piloting equal of pilots who've logged more than a thousand hours of flight duty. Level 5 is also the highest known pilot level in mass production.
