The channels to get signed up for the tournament run through the trix Shadowlands. Initially there is no location given. A day later Effek gets a text from the organizer stating that this evening he would have to fight. A picture of the opponent is given— a man with an obvious cyberskull and the real-skinn pulling off in places ala Terminator. The location is prompted on a mapsoft with a time. If the blip on the map is correct, it is on a street in Smokey Hills.

Effek examines the picture of his opponent as he feeds his cat. "Guard my shit." He says rubbing the cats ears and then heading out the door twoards Smoky Hills, having been there once himself it will be interesting.

As you drive up to the scene through the frayed urban landscane, it is what you might expect from a contested Warrens street. It teems with people with a sense of danger that is in the air. Some places are more concentrated than others. One particular density of fallen humanity focuses on a point in the street and creates a cell-like membrane around it. The people there are loud, screaming various obscenity towards the center of this circle.

As Effek arrives his bike roaring past the crowds, "Aw boy, this baby will get stolen…" he says in his head noting all the characters about. Acording to the map Effek looks at, this should be the location for the fight. Pulling over in a small open spot to park his Harley. Turning off the engine as the screams are now drowning him out, he gets off his bike pocketing his keys deep from any ganger pocket pickers. He frowns nervous of course as he approaches the circle.

The circle, as a whole, doesnt pay a great amount of attention to Effek. There are here mostly to cheer on and party like a bunch of mindless sheeple. Violent, anarchistic sheeple, but sheeple nonetheless.

Making his way to the circle, standing taller then the others besides the trolls Effek peers over the heads of the mindless crowd. Examining what they fest there eyes upon.

Given that Effek has a lot of an easier time wading through a crowd than most, he also gets a better view of the cyber monkey that is inside the 'ring'. After breaking the barrier of the people surrounding the fighting area, the cyber-skulled man looks up to his opponent and says, "Fraggin' A." With that, the betting channel goes up on broadcast— including a broken trideo projection of a woman to help take bets in the flesh. Odds? 3:1 in Effek's favor. Troll love.

Effek who was paying attention to a cute little blonde on the other side of the circle soon and quickly jumps to the trid screen in a bewildered look then back his opponenet who he knows to never judge just by looks after all Effek is just a giant teddy bear. Stepping in through the crowd and into the circle Effek nods.

With a quick sigh and not much of a hi or whats up my name is, Effek launches his hips asside his huge large fist. Attempting to swing a large fast and powerfull strike for a one hit wonder.

Perhaps a bit of luck or just putting it 'all out', the cyberskulled freak avoids the meaty fist. He steps away into a good position for a counter— putting all of his weight into the punch that goes right to the troll's torso and effectively does nothing. "Frag," he quips again.

The man gets one last attempted jab in before…

Just as the opponent punches Effek in the stomach stepping away "Frag" Effek lunges in with a left but soon driving it back twaords his side only to fake a overhead right. His large fist comes sailing in heavy and fast landing upside the opponents temple. Down and out, just as fast as the fist connects the mans lights are out. SLiding hard to the pavement, for a brief second the crowd pauses holding there breath.

The man does not get up. The pause in the crowd eventually dies as people go to collect thier winnings (if any) and just like that they disperse. A man in white comes and drags the cybernetic man away about the same time another text comes in: Congradulations. You advance to the next fight.

Effek nods with a smirk, watching the guy be dragged away. "Thanks." He says as he turns from the crowd and heads off towards his bike.
