What Do You Mean No One Has Throwing?

GM: Mr. Terrific
Players: Dorian, Maddox, Sneezy, Sorina
Synopsis: The 'runners are hired to interdict a shipment being moved by Cartwright Cartage and Freight, a top-level security firm. When they discover it will be transported in an Ares Citymaster, their plan is to throw a huge explosive at the back corner to crack it open.
Date: June 27th, 2011

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "As is usual, I ask for consent. This is a high-risk, 65k bonus plot-approved plotline and in danger level it should be equal to what you see in the +news files as a 40-50k plotline. Dangerous things can easily happen if you are foolish or imperceptive. That being said, twenty guys are not going to jump out of nowhere with assault rifles for no reason."
«Plot» Tactics says, "I consent to all the dangers and stuff."
«Plot» Sorina says, " I consent, under the promise twenty guys are not going to jump out of no where."
«Plot» Maddox says, " I consent."
«Plot» Sneezy says, "I consent."

The word goes out through the fixers and faces - high payout mission. Time limit, two to three days. 'Sounds pretty simple,' some of the fixers say. "Be at Chrome, ask to go into 'the back room' and make air quotes with your fingers." Chrome happens to be just on the good side of the Warrens Wall, so some people might have to crawl through tunnels or otherwise arrange things to get themselves there. It's a fairly popular nightclub spot where 'runners are known to hang out, though whether or not you've been in 'the back room' already is up to you.

Sneezy doesn't have to travel far, so he has time to stop at Megabucks and enjoy an orange strawberry mochafrappasomething on the way. He regrets the 50 nuyen impulse buy immediately.
He parks his Tsarina in the lot and heads inside, getting no trouble since he's not packing anything serious. Having been here once before, he approaches a bartender and shouts over the music for entry to the back room. Reluctantly, he makes the air quotes, feeling ridiculous.
The bartender (probably smirking at Sneezy's expense) shows the dwarf the way. Sneezy steps inside, looking relieved at the decrease in volume. He has a look around the room.

Maddox steps inside of Chrome from the pleasant Denver afternoon without. He isn't quite dressed as is usual for the club; but then, it isn't party hours, either. His bootheels clunk on the polished floor, making his way toward the back. "Hoi," he says, stepping up next to one of the staffers refilling supplies. "I'm lookin' for the back room," he says, looking like a dork with the finger thing. Fucking fixers. He looks just a bit out of place.

Sorina smiles as she arrives at Chrome, dressed in a nice suit as usual. Obviously she didn't crawl through any tunnels to get here. She feels a little silly doing air quotes but she does, and asks to go into the back room. Being showed in she casually looks around to see who else is about.

Tactics keeps a place in the CAS under the alias of Alek Janus.. Where as luck would have it, he happened to be staying when he recieved the phone call. Making his way over to Chrome via taxi, Tactics is wearing his standard tan suit, concealing his 99SC in the jacket. "Hot day.." the large man idlely says to the taxi driver, as he nears the bar. Slotting some certified cred, Tactics pays and heads on out towards 'Chrome!', looking for the job he's been promised. After heading inside, he recounts the propper words to say to the tender to gain access to the back room. A few moments later, and he's at the meet, on time.

The immediate discovery is that there are several 'back rooms' here. One of them has two Italian-ish looking Moustachioed Pete guards in suits, one has a couple of loitering gangers out front, and another has two vaguely professional men of olive complection outside. It's to this last room that you are directed after using the all-important air quotes. Inside is the traditional conference table, projection screen, basic computer setup for those that need it, and a short, slightly dumpy woman with a similar lightly olive complection and black hair. She waits patiently for everyone on 'the list' to enter and when they have she goes over to the wall and hits a few buttons, then returns with a smile. "Good evening. As you know, you can call me Miss Johnson for now. As you might have been told, we have an interdiction mission available tonight. It pays 65k =Y= per person."
She continues, "Originating in the PCC are four crates being shipped by Cartwright Cartage and Freight, a subsidiary of WuXing. I have their reference number here, as they will all be shipped together. Three days from now, they should be transported from the PCC through to the Denver Airport, to be shipped to their final destination. Your job is to destroy those crates."

Maddox moves slowly, deliberately. He's hitting middle-age for an ork, his formerly jet-black hair french-braided, but now with speckles of gray. As the woman speaks, he takes up a seat, settling his bulk into it.

«Plot for Tactics»'As you have the demonstrated skills to know - the buttons that she hit on the wall activated electronic countermeasures to make sure that this conversation is not overheard. You can assume that this room has wall tumblers, sealing, deadening, white noise generators that don't bother you because they are in the interstices, jammers, statickers, and a variety of other goodnesses.'.

Sneezy gives the J a once-over, then heads for the far side of the table. He sits down and has a look at each of his fellow applicants, staring a big googly-eyed at the gorgeous human for a bit, but then managing to focus his attention back on Miss Johnson. For now, he doesn't appear to have anything to say.

Sorina smiles as she looks around the room, and casually looks over the other runners then the Johnson. She then moves to take a sit and slowly sits back as she listens to the job details. She smiles as she gives a slight nod, "The Denver Airport? Any thing involving that is going to be extremely dangerous and risky. It is going to be an internation crime and all, and it is just a huge pain. I think we deserve a little more than 65k per person."
«Plot» Sorina says, "I would like to roll for negoitation if I can."

The woman says, "I did not say you were attacking the Denver Airport in any fashion."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "We will roll for that when we get to it."

Maddox opens his mouth as though to ask a question; as Ms. Johnson continues, however, he closes it, allowing her to finish.

Sorina nods slightly, "Of course but it doesn't have to be an attack now does it? Any sort of illegal activity can be risky, and they do have very good security in, and perhaps more importantly around it. Then of course, even if we get away without any problems, they might investigate what happen."

The woman says, "You are the experts, not I. All I know is that right now those boxes are in the PCC in a secured shipping facility. Three days from now they will travel to the Denver Airport. When they reach that location, they will then be shipped via air to a currently known destination. How you go about the task is up to you. All I know is what is usually paid for such missions, and that defeating security and forestalling the possibility of investigation is what I am paying you for. And I am paying you noticeably over the going rate."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Tied, no change."

Miss Johnson looks mildly annoyed at the immediate leap into asking for more money without the usual fencing for details. She doesn't become flustered, however, handling the matter with reason.

Tactics sits back in his confrence room chair, willing to let others discuss and debate for now. He seems a bit jumpy in general, but is inclined to stay out of the conversation untill details are ready to be set in stone and everyone else is done talking.

Sneezy folds his hands in his lap and looks over to Ms. J once he can get a word in. "Busting the facility sounds like the hard way to go. You know anything about how the stuff's getting to the airport?" he asks calmly.

Miss Johnson says, "That is the job of Cartwright Cartage and Freight, the WuXing subsidiary. They specialize in transport of sensitive objects such as those we discuss."

Sorina smiles as she slowly nods her head, "Yes, we are the experts in this matter, which is why you should trust our judgement a little more, in regards to how much we should be payed." She watches her reaction carefully to judge her opinion. Though when it seems that further negotiation will be unwelcome she effortless switches topic back to the details. "So what information can you give us on theses boxes?"

Miss Johnson smiles to Sorina. "They are to be destroyed. I have a notation here that no harmful substances are expected to be released under methods of standard destruction. Each box is the size of a footlocker three foot long, one foot wide, one foot tall."

Maddox raises an eyebrow, speaking slowly. "When you say destroyed, what level of destruction is required? Contents rendered inoperable? Information inside beyond reclamation? Are they to be destroyed in place, or do they need to disappear completely?"

Miss Johnson frowns slightly as she makes a show of consulting her notes. "It is not listed as either extremely fragile or extremely resilient, nor is there any notation here as to destroying data chips inside. If there were such a thing, I would expect to have been told. So, I state and you may record me as such, 'More than cutting them in half.' I suggest substantial destruction. A moderate explosive attached to them, point blank full-auto fire on each box, these sorts of things should do it."

Maddox nods his heavy head slowly, as his question is answered.

«Plot» Tactics asks which airport. It is decided to be Dunkelzahn International. That means they are going from the PCC to FTZ to UCAS."

"Is there anything else?" Miss Johnson asks. She's a little old for 'Miss' Johnson, but maybe 'Mrs. Johnson' doesn't sound quite right.

Sorina causually looks around the group as she listens to the information. She then looks back over to The Johnson, "Well if you just give us a copy of your notes, I am sure that will answer any further questions we might have."

Miss Johnson passes out some folders that she clearly had premade for this occasion. Each one also has chips attached to it for those who prefer that. They have the data on Cartwright, the tracking number for the crates, a picture of what the crates should look like, and instructions as to how to securely contact Miss Johnson when the job is done to assure payment and in case you need to call it off.

Sneezy smiles. What a clever idea! This lady is so smart!
Tailored pheromones.

Sorina smiles as she takes the folder and casually look over the notes while slipping the datachip into her pocket for later. She then looks over to the others, "If we can intercept the packages in route, it should not be to difficult. It will also be much safer than the airport."

Maddox takes the folder, opening it and perusing the contents.

Having listened to the job pitch, Tactics declines to open his information packet, pushing it forward to the center of the table. "Apologies, but I must decline this offer. Playing with tripple A megas isn't something I take lightly, and the pay just isn't covering the risk for me. I wish you the best of luck." he says, standing up and heading towards the exit.

Sneezy glances over at Tactics briefly, then shrugs and begins to peruse his folder for anything they missed.

Miss Johnson hits the buttons to open the door and allow exit, with a murmured personal commentary to the man.
You whisper "She says, "I thank you for your silence in this matter."" to Tactics.

Sorina tilts her head slightly as she looks to Tactics, "You do realize that almost every company in the world is a subsidiary of a tripple A mega corp right? If you are going to rule out every job based on being a subsidiary, I think you may end up having a very hard time getting work. Of course no job should ever be taken lightly in this buisness."

Tactics nods to the miss johnson, and ignoring Sorina's comment, continues on out the door. Such is life, but too many things were up in the air on this one, and the pay was far, far too low.

Miss Johnson turns to the remaining. "It's unfortunate. If the three of you know anyone you consider trustworthy and with the appropriate skills to bring in on this, do let me know."

Miss Johnson says to Sorina, "I would agree that hitting the packages on route would be your best option. But I am not an expert and I do not know any personal capabilities any of you may have, and so I strive not to limit your options."

Sneezy sets the folder aside. "Well, we have two days for just planning," he mentions. "First thing's to find out about Cartwright and see how they're going to transport the stuff. I know a guy who might be able to trace the serial numbers."

Miss Johnson says, "Does that mean you accept?"

Sneezy nods. "I do." He looks at the other two remaining potential teammates.

Maddox refolds the folder; he looks up and nods. "I do," he replies.

Sorina gives a slight nod of her head, "We will see what we can do. I don't think I want to go into that air port without more backup, but if we can catch it in route we should be good."

Miss Johnson says, "Excellent. You may consider yourselves pre-authoized for a fourth team member should you require one. I believe you have all the information I can give you - anything else concerns a lack of information that I can explain." She's referring to the way nothing was said about 'how destroyed is destroyed?' And so she thanks you all, and takes her leave, along with the two guards out front.

Maddox waits and watches the woman leave. He folds his calloused hands on the table. "Good afternoon," he says. "My name's Maddox. But many call me Maddie."

Sorina sits back and looks at the other two as she considers their option, "I am Sorina. What sort of skills do the two of you have?"

Sneezy nods. "Sneezy," he says. He smiles, mostly at Sorina. "Combat medic. Decent in a fight, can take charge. And patch up the bullet holes after."

Maddox looks at the woman, probably a bit longer than is quite polite, but then, she's probably used to that. "I am good on the physical end. Physical reconnaissance and close combat/personnel control. Think of me like a trideo Indian: sneaky and scalping."

Sorina nods slightly, "I am a fixer, or I suppose a face in this case. I am thinking our best plan of action is to find the route they are going to use, then we can figure out some way to stop them in route."

Maddox nods his head, reaching into a pocket and returning with a battered pack of Yeheyuans. He shakes one out, lighting it with a flick. What's the point of a VIP room if you can't light up? "I am thinking same. Transport has to be the weakest link. I am very curious as to what mode of transport it is, but I'm imagining it has to be hardened and protected. The crates are of good size, so there's less chance of stealth transportation."

"Sounds good," Sneezy agrees. "I'll poke around the Matrix tonight, see what I can find. Here's my contact info. Let's get in touch tomorrow morning." The dwarf messes with his pocket secretary, forwarding his mail and phone details to the two, if they have compatible equipment.

Sorina nods slightly, "I got some friends I can call if you need help with the matrix, though if you think you have that under control, I can work on getting us anything else we might need."

Maddox nods, sucking a long drag off his cheap smoke. Not exactly conveying the image of a high roller. "I shall ask what I can, but I fear that research is not my primary talent. Shall we reconvene and formulate a plan?"

Sneezy nods to Sorina. "Sure. I'll let you know if I have trouble on that front."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "So it is written, so it is done. You break up and begin gathering information."

«Plot» Maddox says, "I just want to check my Street Rumors to see if anyone's heard anything hinky re Cartwright, or popular transpo routes? (I have a gunrunner contact.)"
«Auto-Judge[]» Maddox (#12229) rolls Street Rumors (to Mr.Terrific):

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Cartwright is a WuXing subsidiary. They aren't pressed for money, they are perfectly competent."
«Plot» Maddox says, "Also, I'm gonna take the long shot and check my Barry Dancing Dog (Sioux tribal counsel) contact and see if he's done any business with them, and what information he may have gleaned."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "They do more work in the PCC. They're flexible and good at dealing with stuck-up types."

Sorina nods slightly, "Alright, see what you can find and we will meet up again later tonight and update each other."

«Plot» Sneezy says, "I call up my decker contact and say I have a job for him, to find out everything he can about a couple shipments from Cartwright."
«Auto-Judge[]» Sneezy (#12374) has the Contact Smoke with the following information (only to Mr.Terrific):
----—> Contact for Sneezy (#12374) <----
Contact Name: Smoke
Level: 1
Type: decker
GM Note: A skilled, professional elf decker based out of Toronto. Norbert hired him to arrange SIN deletion, setup of a fake SIN, and a flight to Denver.

Smoke is socially skilled and likes to meet with his clients in person whenever possible. He likes to have a chat with them, get to know them, and get more information. He enjoys flaunting his skills, being in control, and having power over other people - a vidphone conversation can't provide that. So far, his eccentricities have yet to bite him in the ass.

Norbert suspects that Smoke could be a sociopath.

Smoke looks at the data and says, "Are you asking me for public information, or are you asking me to go in on Cartwright?"

Sneezy says "I can get the public stuff myself. I'd like you to go into their Denver PCC site."
Sneezy forwards the serial numbers.

"Danger costs money," Smoke says, "And well-heeled divisions of WuXing cost more money. Are you looking for the total package, or for a quick in-out?"

Sneezy says "Define the total package."

"5k and I get you whatever can be gotten from this 'Cartwright' place on the boxes in question."

Sneezy rubs at his forehead. Not too bad a deal. "All right. When you send me the info, tell me where to send the money."

«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 12 - 2 vs TN 9 for "Smoke KP 6":

Smoke sounds pretty ragged. "I'm gonna need some reds and blues, if you know what I mean. They know how to work their network topology there, the bastards. But I got what you need. They're gonna come in off the highway from the PCC. They're gonna cut across on Colorado street to the highway that'll take them to Dunkelzahn International. The job is assigned to a five-man team; the rigger who drives the citymaster, the mage who wards it, and three security guys. But get this. This shipment is flagged for 'special protocol.' That means they have a guy on a Harley Skorpion with an LMG pintle mount outside, watching for badness. So two guys inside, one guy outside on the motorcycle. As for what's in the boxes? Cartwright doesn't know, doesn't care, isn't listed as hazardous or fragile."
Smoke adds, "Oh yeah, the Citymaster should have an LMG in the turret."
"Might or might not be under repair though."
Sneezy actually has no idea what Smoke means, but he's impressed by the quality of the decker's work. "Great, Smoke," the dwarf says, genuinely please. "That'll help a lot. Payment inc."

«Plot» Sorina says, " First off I want to do corporate rumor roll to find out what I can about the company, especially their shipping methods."
«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) rolls Corporate Rumors:
2 3 4 5 10
Cartwright Cartage and Freight are in fact a shipping and security company, so all they have are shipping methods. When they are shipping packages on the ground, they commonly use a repurposed Ares Citymaster, as the Citymaster line is designed as a sort of 'base' for extensive modification. Their Citymasters tend to be older models as they are not consistently using them for police actions. They do maintain mages on their teams and squads, and one can assume each Citymaster to be Warded.

You paged Maddox with 'Hey, Colorado street is where you just were with Amanda and Enterprising Productions. :)'.

«Plot» Sorina says, " I am going to get some plastic explosives, compound XII, plus a radio detonator, enough to open up the Citymaster. Boom Boom helps me get the explosives and Lowrider helps tell me how much I need because he knows about vehicles and armor."
«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) has the Contact Boom Boom with the following information:
----—> Contact for Sorina (#8376) <----—-
Contact Name: Boom Boom
Level: 2
Type: specialist
GM Note: Boom Boom not surprisingly, is an explosives expert. He used to be an ork terrorist. Long ago he was born human and was a well respected scientist. Though he turned into an ork, lost his job and no one takes him seriously, and he was pissed about it. So pissed in fact, that he went and blew people up. Though that was long ago, he went into hiding and escaped every getting caught, despite bombing a few important buildings. Now he is about in the community. His anger as calmed down greatly but he still makes explosives.
Specialized for Explosives (+info gear explosives, but not grenades).

«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) has the Contact Lowrider Thompson with the following information:
----—> Contact for Sorina (#8376) <----—-
Contact Name: Lowrider Thompson
Level: 1
Type: fixer
GM Note: Lowerider might be a fixer but don't come to him looking for a gun, unless it is mounted atop some thing that goes at least 30 miles per hour. His passion is vehicles. It is both a job and hobby. Not only is he fairly good at fixing things up himself, but he seems to know every one who deals in anything that can hold an engine. If you are having transportation problems he is the man. Be it finding a driver, finding a car, or adding turbo boosters to your old messed up bike he has the contacts.
Specific for vehicles and vehicle equipment.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "You call Lowrider for information on Citymasters. Working together with him and Boom Boom, you are told: one kilo of C-12 if you are going to place it on the door and pop it. At least four kilos of C-12 if you are going to throw it at the Citymaster and hope. Etiquette TN is 10 for 1 kil, 11 for 4 kilos."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "With the bonus for Boom Boom being specialized for Explosives."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "+2 dice for specialized, +1 die for level 2 contact, and tell me if you are going for 1 kilo or 4 kilos."
«Plot» Sorina says, " buying 4 kilos"
«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) rolls Etiquette + 7 vs TN 11 for "+4 tailored pheremones, +1 level 2 contact, +2 specific contact.":
1 1 1 1 1 1 2 3 4 5 5 5 10 11 17 = 2 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 5 vs TN 8 for "Boom Boom's negotiation against Sorina":
2 3 4 7 10 = 1 Success
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Boom Boom has an Int of 5."
«Plot» Sorina says, "TN is 3 after applying bonus for specific and level 2?"
«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) rolls Negotiation + 4 vs TN 3 for "+4 tailored pheremones":
1 2 2 2 3 4 4 4 4 11 11 = 7 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "4 kilos of C12 is 800, a radio detonator is 250, for 1050. Street index is 2 so 2100. 6 negotiation successes is 25% off, 1575 is the grand total."
Boom Boom warns you, "Don't expect explosives on the outside to hurt anything inside a Citymaster if you just toss it. The armor and the natural curves will channel the blast away. But it should rip stuff up enough for you to get inside."

Sorina smiles slightly as she nods, "I just want to make sure there is no problems. Always best to have extra, than not to have enough."

«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) has the Contact George Hustain with the following information:
----—> Contact for Sorina (#8376) <----—-
Contact Name: George Hustain
Level: 2
Type: rigger
GM Note: George Hustain is a very careful type of rigger, the kind that plans their run out to the last detail. Knowing every road along the way, and having a backup plan in case of any surprises. It is what kept him alive so long smuggling weapons for the Crimson Tide. Though now he works free lance, and will drive or fly any one or anything from point A to point B. Though he is selective about his runs. He only works with professionals with well thought out plans. That isn't to say he will not take risk, however he isn't reckless. If there is no escape route or plan B he is not going. He is good enough that he can affored to be picky like that.

Sorina calls up her friend George Hustain, and sends him the route that the transport will be taking. "Hello George. I was wondering if you knew the best place on this route, to set up an ambush."

George Hustain and Sneezy both independently come to very similar conclusions. The Citymaster and its accompanying motorcycle will be coming down out of Indian territories on the I-70 four-lane highway. Call that 'A' level security. It'll take the Colorado st. exit, which is in a moderate, 'B' security zone. It'll head east, and Colorado St will turn into Quebec St, which is also a 'B' security zone, until it approaches the border crossing from the Free Trade Zone into the UCAS. At the UCAS it's a high security 'A' level highway-like airport road and not too far until you get to Dunkelzahn International Airport, which is AAA.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Dorian will be called in by a fixer:"
"Hey, I hear these guys, they set up for a meet, and their sammy had his nose in the air, didn't want to take a corp job or something. You up for it? It's 65k and everything looks, basically, on the level. "

Yawning away from the phone, Dorian grabs ahold the remote for his trid and lowers the volume. "Corp job huh? Who's the corp we working for or against?" He's already standing and heading into his room in order to pull out the famous black duffle bag of goodies from under his bed and laying it atop of it.

"If we knew that, what would be the fun? But I think it's against WuXing. You can ask the people there, if you want."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "And with that, Dorian gets the info to link up to Sorina and can show up at the meet to plot your plotting after all due care is taken offscreen."

"The fun of not getting shot by your own boss I guess." The elf snickers before nodding to no one. "Yeah sure, I'll take the job. Where's these sammyless at?" He unzips the bag and begins shuffling through it, making sure everything is present and no one ran off with his Predator or something to go shoot devilrats outside or something.

«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) has the Contact Tom and Jerry with the following information:
----—> Contact for Sorina (#8376) <----—-
Contact Name: Tom and Jerry
Level: 2
Type: deckers
GM Note: A decker team of three, Tom, Jerry and…Spike? Every one always forgets the dog. Why wasn't he a main character in the show? Obviously not their real names, the team has an odd obession with ancient cartoons, especially with the one their team is named after. That aside, they are very good at what they do and having three memebers allow them to multitask, or to focus on one large run.

Sorina gives a call up to the group of deckers she is good friends with. She sends them the route information, "I got a job for you. A Harley Skorpion and a Citymaster from the Cartwright Cartage and Freight Inc. will be sending some packages down this route. I was wondering if you could hack into the city system and seperate the motercycle and the truck from each other. Either kill the transponder so the motercycle dies, or take over the autonav and send it down the wrong road, or do something with the traffic lights to seperate them. Doesn't matter as long as you can seperate the two when I tell you, and it only needs to be for a minute."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "I will add that the citymaster is scheduled to run that area at about 2 pm. After the lunch rush, before rush hour, so it won't encounter heavy highway traffic. It's actually scheduled to be early for its flight by several hours."

Tom and Jerry answer Sorina back pretty quick. "If the driver is manual, that won't do a thing. Now, both a Citymaster and a Skorpion have autonav, but you only use those if you don't want to actively drive and you want to leave it up to the computer, like when you're drunk and you want the car to drive you home, or when you need to take your hands off the wheel. Do you really think these people are going to be doing that? As far as traffic lights, we can give that a shot, but we'd need your help to tell us about where the targets are and when.":
Sorina considers that for a moment, "What about the transponders, you know the ones the police use to shut down cars they are chasing? They are legal so they should have them, you think you could use that to shut down the skorpion?"

Spike says, "We can track them using the transponders while they are on the grid. We can't send a shutdown to their vehicles. Cops have a sort of EMP gun for that, and Citymasters are shielded against it. The Skorpion can't be though.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "You convene! At a secured location. Perhaps a back room of Chrome again."

Maddox is sitting comfortably, looking a little more weary than before. Maybe he has sleep problems at his age. The folder is before him and he waits.

Dorian's fixer tells him, "Hey, I hear they rented some space at Chrome. Go meet them there, talk to the bartender, tell him you want to go to the back room, and make 'air quotes.'

Sorina smiles as she meets up with the others once again so that they can work on their plans. She takes a seat and looks around to the others.

"Or I can just walk into the backroom without talking to the guy and looking like the most obvious idiot trying to score a shadow job.. I mean it's Chrome..They have like 2 rooms." Dorian shakes his head and picks up his black fedora before doning it atop of his head, picking up his bag and making his way down to the parking lot of hte Cottonwoods in order to head towards Chrome.

Sneezy asked, and apparently the bar serves soykaf. He's got a half-finished mug in front of them and is waiting for the others, going over stuff on his pocket secretary. He looks up and smiles at Sorina. "Fixer said our replacement fourth'll be here this morning," he explains.

Sorina smiles as she looks over to Sneezy and gives a slight nod, "That is good to hear. We might need some muscle for taking care of all the guards. Sounds like the got tight security for shipping some regular packages."

Maddox chuckles quietly. "Ordinary packages, perhaps. Possibly extraordinary inside the package," he replies. "And we got no guarantees that she was telling true when she said there's nothing hazardous in there."

Dorian ends up parked within Chrome's lot, his duffle bag stuffed into a smuggling compartment out of view after he's retrieved his Thunderbolt from it and conceals it within his dress jacket in the concealed quickdraw holster. Enough? Never. Next is the long cougar blade. WHy all this? Because meets in public places suck, and if shit gets out of hand, best to be equiped to blast your way out. He straightens up his tie and steps out of the nondescript white Americar, having left the heavily modified Jaguar at home, he doesnt take that baby out on the job. A few moments later, the tall and well-dressed elf steps within the conference room with a cigarette burning idly at his lips.

"Think we should take a look?" Sneezy asks while looking down at his pocsec. "Granted, she did say destroyed, not stolen." He tweedles some more, then looks up at the new arrival.

Sorina shakes her head slightly as she looks to Sneezy, "No it will not matter. If it is something hazardous we are not staying around long enough for it to matter to us." She looks over at Dorian when he walks in, "Hello, so you the new help?"

Note: The door was locked and has a variety of electronic security devices on it, mostly to prevent eavesdropping, so this is either the guy, or he's really good.

"Apparently I am." And this elf doesn't seem to be one for idle chitchat neither, their names? He probably doesn't care for them. He won't start the introduction band wagon, he ain't here to play tag with the kids afterschool. "So what's the job. When is it. Who's involved."

"I made a thing," Sneezy says, hooking his pocket secretary into the back room's display. He explains what they know so far.

Sorina smiles as she looks him over before sitting back, "Our job is to destroy three boxes being shipped by Cartwright Cartage, subsidary of Wuxing. Packages are starting in the PCC and heading to the Dunkelzahn International Airport in UCAS. Though our plan is to stop them in route before they even get close to the airport itself. It is being transported by a citymaster with a Harley Skorpion motorcycle driving near by as backup. Intel says they got a mage back up inside the truck as well."

Sneezy says "They're gonna come in off the highway from the PCC. They're gonna cut across on Colorado street to the highway that'll take them to Dunkelzahn International. The job is assigned to a five-man team; the rigger who drives the Citymaster, the mage who wards it, and three security guys. One's on the Skorpion with an LMG. Citymaster has one too, which might be broken."

The elf retrieves the cigarette from his lips after an idle drag which he exhales slowly before speaking. "We got a finger wiggler ourselves? Spirits are a pain in the ass. And where do you plan on ambushing it? Wherever the place, I hope you got deckers fragging up security camera feed and panic buttons. Maybe a jammer could be handy to prevent them from radioing themselves and calling in for backup."

Sneezy sets a map of the streets on the display. "Best place for the ambush is on Colorado or Quebec, between the two highways. We need to go take a look at the site today." He looks at Sorina. "Think your pals could handle the local security grid?"

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "It is common knowledge that 'areas' have governmental security cameras, generally run by whoever the government has running them, which in the UCAS is Knight Errant. Individual businesses may have their own security set-ups that also feed, most likely, to Knight Errant but perhaps to smaller firms or to Lone Star. The Government's general cameras might all be taken out by one difficult task, but that would leave the individual cameras, all of which would be easier, but just that there's a lot of them."

Sorina looks to Dorian, "Saddly no mages with us." She looks to Sneezy, "I am sure they can handle stopping backup from getting it. Though we really need to get in and out quickly, hopefully before any sort of backup has a chance to even realize anything is going on." She looks to Dorian again, "Taking out all the cameras may be difficult."

Sneezy nods. "True. Gonna have a hard time stopping people from hearing four kilos of C12 go off, so we should just assume backup's coming and plan to get in and out fast. Have to just cover our faces," he says.

"Well if your decker chums can't handle it, at least get them on Panic Buttons. Last thing we need is a drone following us after the job is done." Dorian adds. "And you should -always- cover your face."

Maddox raises an eyebrow. "If it's anywhere on the gridstreets, we can stop it easily enough. Just finding a chokepoint," he says. "The trick is getting inside the damn thing without getting shredded. Whether by the bike gun or the topmount. We ain't gotta be gentlewe're here to make sure the crates are destroyed and allbut we do have to be able to get in and close enough to get a visual to make sure they are destroyed, and the right ones."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "That sounds like the 'one difficult decking task' idea. Shutting down the government's cameras and panicbutton lines at your moment of impact. People's personal cameras will record you, but that involves the cops doing legwork and going to every individual place and putting together their 'tape'. Nothing fast."

Maddox glances over at Sorina, his own cigarettelikely a cheaper brand than the elf's, and nastierdangling between his tusks as he stops. "You got explosives. How you employing them? Side of the road? Satchel? Gonna stop it and then place them on the thing? What was your plan?"

Sorina considers that for a moment, "Well ideally, I would like to place them ahead of time and get them to drive over it or by it. Though I am not sure if that is going to happen. Second best option is to get them to stop then place it then. If we can't do either of that, someone could just throw it at them, and I am sure the explosion will stop the truck."

Sneezy scratches at his chin. "We need to look at the sites," he repeats. "Find somewhere we can conceal it. Under a manhole, bottom of a trash can beside the road, something like that."

«Auto-Judge[]» Maddox (#12229) rolls Stealth (to Mr.Terrific):
1 1 5 5 10 15
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Upon looking at your things, the plastique is not incredibly 'dense'. Which is to say, that 4kg of C-12 makes a good one foot square by 6 inches size thing. To conceal it, you need a decent concealment. Leaving it on the road… not so good. Trash can is doable, but you have to get the Citymaster by the trash can."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Underside of a manhole cover is not so good, because it will expend energy going through the manhole to which it is attached."

Dorian leans back against the wall and drags his cigarette now and then, waiting for the crew to get their plan together. He knows his job, kill the guards, burn shit and get the hell out.

Maddox shrugs his heavy shoulders, leaning in to put his elbows on the table. "I'm not a complicated guy. I'll leave the deckers to their work and all that. What seems best to me is just this. We take it just off the offramp, since we know it's going to be there instead of a bunch of other routes once it hits the grid. Natural chokepoint. Use this guy," he jerks a thumb at the elf, "and he can take out traffic in front of the rig. That'll stop it. We can deal with the biker at range. Once it's fixed, we neutralize it fighting back, run up, place the charge. Any place will do, that much bang. Goes off, that'll scramble anyone inside. We verify the goods are destroyed, and go."
"Plus, being on an offramp means less possible collateral damage from other traffic, as well as to gridside buildings."

"Taking a bike out isn't so tough. Just blast off the front wheel and the guy is in a world of hurt, and any car or Citymaster behind it gets a nice road bump." The elf shrugs.

Sorina nods slightly, "The main problem I have, is that we need to stop it. We need to be sure it isn't going to smash through anything in its way and just keep on going."

Dorian says "Cars need tires to roll.."

Maddox shrugs. "Citymaster's gotta have runflats. But a car in the single lane in front of it probably doesn't. And the driver definitely ain't got a runflat skull. Block the car in front, it ain't gonna continue. Turning a Citymaster around in one lane'd be a feat."

Dorian nods to that. "It's possible, that's true. Speaking of rides, what the heck are we gonna be in?

Sorina nods slightly, "Well you need to remember they are like tanks, at least as close to a tank a street legal truck can get."

Dorian says "Well if you have enough explosives to spare.. Drop a satchel charge infront of it, detonate it when it goes over it and you have a good chance of crippling it right there."

"Better than using ten pounds of C12 to blow up the road. Or a bridge. You do that, the governments get involved. Terrorism and all that. It's an 'incident,' it's all over the trids. Big attention," the ork says. "You use some of that stuff just on the rig, Wuxing has a motivation to make sure the news is smothered… it's bad for business to look like it can't secure it's own cargo."

Sorina nods slightly, "I could get back and get more explosive and blow up the entire area but you are right, it will cause all sort of long term problems for us. It is a lot better if we can hit the truck and leave it at that."

Sneezy rubs his hands over his face, takes a deep breath, then speaks. "How about this? The offramp is a good idea. Get a decker to watch for the roadmaster, then make sure it stops at a red light where we're waiting. Have say 2 or 3 kilos ready to throw and pop the thing open. We jump on them before they can hit us with the LMGs, then put the rest of the C12 inside, bug out, and set it off."

The projection screen is brought up to show the crucial Colorado street offramp from Highway I-70. It has a 'must exit' lane, that leads to an inclined cloverleaf ramp with a maximum speed of 35 MPH for the tightness of the turn. That takes one to the crucial stoplight intersection, where the Citymaster will have to go left on Colorado. At that corner across the street are an eatery, a small hardware store, and some officey buildings. On this side of the street nothing is too close because of the highway.
Underneath the highway are big concrete pillar where you (and bums) can hide. Cars can be parked at the eatery and the hardware store, as well as further away.

Maddox glances up at the projection. "I can deal with that," he says to the dwarf. "I'm guessing our man here has some facility with a rifle, else Fix wouldn't have called him in. The only addition I'd like is if wethat is, hecan shoot-stop a car in front of the target on the single-lane, so that if our rigger sees something amiss, he can't just floor it through the light and leave us standing there with our dicks in our hands. A security rigger carrying paid cargo ain't gonna give a shit about running a light if he sees even a gnat's ass out of the ordinary."

Sorina nods her head slightly, "That may work." She nods to Maddox, "We can do that as well. Turn the light red to stop them and a car in front of them. Shoot out the car in front and throw the explosives at the same time, then go in quickly."

Dorian walks over to the table to stomp out his cigarette in the ashtray which he soon replaces by a orange flavored lollypop which he retrieves from his pocket and unwraps slowly. "Sure I can take a car out infront of it. If there's one. Though my main concern is the LMG mounted on the bike, think you guys can handle that kind of heat while I riddle up some car?"

Sneezy nods. "If he's exposed and stopped, should be pretty easy." He pauses"And if there's no cars in front, what then? Geek the biker, throw the bomb, hope the rigger is surprised or stops to fight rather than peel out?"

Maddox looks up. "I ain't worth a shit once I'm past grenade range. I was figuring I'd lie in hiding up close with the satchel, and do the running-and-throwing."

"If there's no car, well we blow the shit out of the Citymaster first thing while I handle the biker real quick. Then we move in to the truck, do what needs to be done, and get out." Dorian adds.

Sorina looks to Maddox, "You any good with a grenade? If so I can try to get some. That way the plastic blows a hole in the armor, and you toss in a few grenades."

Sneezy nods to the ork. "Sounds good. The sammy could be across the corner, with you and me behind the pillars under the highway. You…" The dwarf looks at Sorina. "Probably nowhere nearby?"

Maddox nods to the elf. He plucks the Yeheyuan from his mouth, stubbing it out, exhaling. "I can throw pretty good. And I have some of my own. I got enough for whatever we may run into."
Maddox chuckles. "She's too pretty to get cordite all over her," the ork replies. "She's done plenty for us, just with that cell phone."

Sneezy says "I have some flashbangs, but I could use something a bit stronger. Big tough vehicle like that should amp the explosion nicely."

Sorina nods slightly, "I am afraif I am not going to be to use for shooting up a truck, though I could provide some cover from a distance."

Dorian says "Just sit in a running car and get ready to peel off once we're all in it."

Sneezy nods. "You got a van or truck? We could use a getaway driver nearby."

Sorina shakes her head, "No, though I know a few people who may be able to help us out."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The deckers are contacted. The price is 5k =Y= to turn that stoplight red on command, and have the Governmental KP cameras in the area shut off on the cue."

Dorian says "I have a beater we can use, just drive it."

Sorina nods slightly, "Alright, it sounds like we have a plan then. Lets get everything ready and we will meet up on the day."

Dorian says "WHEN is the day?"

Sneezy holds up a hand. "It's two days from now, around 2 PM. One thing though, I'd really rather have a pro get the C12 ready. You can take it out of my share if you're dead set against it."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "You all get everything ready. You also all visit the location as needed on the 'dead' day, using appropriate stealth, so there are no surprises having to do with the location or stuff you don't know on that account."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "To be honest with the purchasing rules, Sorina gets the C-12 in the afternoon of day X. Her contact, Boom Boom, upon hearing that they will be hucking it, shakes his head and sets it up like a big grenady thing, like a medicine ball of plastique inside of brown paper wrapping; and gives her the appropriate radio detonator."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Grenades are purchased to equip everyone."

Dorian is now sitting under a highway overpass? Enjoying a cigarette and fiddling on his pocsec while keeping an eye out on the time. In the tall grass next to him rests his Ares Alpha, and of course while enjoying his stealth, he's got his Darkhorse Balaclava over his head. Is he wearing his suit? Hell no. He's wearing the Frag-You-Up gear.

«Plot» Sorina says, " I am going to make a disguise using my polymimetic mask as well(which takes half an hour but we are in no rush)."

«Plot» And people mask their faces appropriately.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "So, this is a 'B' security area, and so I require Stealth checks for those who are getting large and dangerous objects into hidden places without being seen by random passingby KE vehicles going, like hey, that guy has an assault rifle, I wonder if he is Up To No Good. Obviously these things are smuggled over the border into the FTZ as you have all demonstrated the capability to do and then kept out of sight in a car until relatively close to the target. This is for that final leg."

Maddox has changed his appearance. He has struck a balance between full-on cammo gear (terrible if seen beforehand) and concealability, dressing in dark jeans and workboots and his dark canvas jacket, balaclava close at hand… nondescript, relatively low-profile, but decent enough for stealth. He has positioned himself as the closest man to the stoplight, concealing himself in an unused alcove amongst the Stuffer Shack wrappers and the smell of homeless urine. With him is a canvas sack, looking for all the world like a bum's haversack, containing the 'medicine ball.' The only things out of the ordinary with him are also concealed… a meter of something wrapped in butcher paper. No obvious firearms.

Sorina is disguised, looking like some random person. Maybe some a friendly house wife sitting in a car while waiting for a bomb to blow up just down the road from her. She has the safer job of being a get away driver, though she keeps an eye out for problems.

«Plot» Sneezy says, "Well if they're both under the bridge I have to be under the bridge. I'd like to use SUT to set up ambush positions for the surprise roll also."

«Plot» Dorian says, "I assume Sorina is our watcher for the Go?"
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Looks that way. I don't see how you guys under the highway can see the Citymaster coming."

«Plot» Dorian says, "Well I have an assault rifle I kinda need to hide, so I'm not gonna be standing on the corner with it.."
Dorian is discussing simsense porn starlettes with hobos for now.. or something.

«Plot» Maddox says, "Just to clarify for myself, I was trying to imply that I'm separate from the ambush under the bridge, concealing myself much closer than they are… I ain't shooting, and I have to throw a satchel."

Sorina makes sure she is in a good position to watch the path the truck is coming from. She is on phone with the deckers and on the comm with the team, ready to give the word when it is time to go. The secret word being, bye.

Commlink-Scarface> Dorian says, "Alright ladies, strap on your cocks. On the ladies go, we go out blazing. I handle the forward car if theres one, then Im onto the bike. If no car, Im straight up bike. Make sure you blow the shit out of the citymaster."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "So, we have Sneezy and Dorian under the highway a good ways away from the target point. We have Maddox under the highway much closer to the target point. We have Sorina, disguised, across the way and by a car and watching for the vehicle in question, ready to trigger the red light. The plan is to rifle up the forwards car and use it to lock up the Citymaster behind it for Maddox's throw."

Maddox pages: I know. 4kg, BTW. 10lb. :) I think my strength is sufficient to toss that quite a ways. How far do you think? It's far lighter than a shotput, and I have a strap to add to my leverage.
You paged Maddox with 'The question is one of target numbers. I'm going to take the range multipliers on grenades, and subtract 1. So TN 4 is Str x 2 meters. TN 5 is Str x 4 meters. TN 8 is STR x 9 meters. TN 9 is STR x 19 meters. When you throw, I will roll for 'scatter'. On a thrown weapon that is 1d6. The number of successes you make each reduce that number by 2, to a minimum of 0 which is a perfect throw. You have been told that if the package lands 5 or meters away, it likely will not penetrate the vehicle.'.
«Plot» Mr.Terrific is now working with Maddox how far he wants to be away from the Target Point of Citymaster when he throws.
«OOC» Dorian says, "Hes gotta throw it then walk away in slow mo while everything behind him blows up and all shrapnel goes by him."

Commlink-Sneezy> Sneezy says, "Test."

Maddox pages: Got it. The reason I put myself apart from Dorian and Sneezy is A, to get the throw the most accurately, B, to avoid having to run and run and run like with Jimmy Dickshaman, and C, so I don't have to be near those knuckleheads when they start drawing fire by shooting. :)
You paged Maddox with 'How far you wanna be? :)'.
Maddox pages: 32m. Far range of TN5, with the alcove (chosen to provide full ferrocrete cover by ducking back into the doorway, as per my previous pose).

«Plot» Dorian says, "Ill stick with 3 for the lonely driver."
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 4 + 3 vs TN 8 for "Innocent driver in Secure jacket trying to soak lots of damage":
1 2 2 5 5 5 7 = 0 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The innocent surprised driver is killed by 13S staged up to 13D and brought down to 8d by his jacket."

«Plot» Dorian says, "Excellent, distance to Biker? I have ultrasound sight for his Invisibility."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Sadly, he is above you and there is concrete between you and he - he is on the highway up top."
«Plot» Dorian says, "He aint down on the ramp yet?"
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Nope, he is 100 meters back of the Citymaster."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Which is just now rolling to a stop."
«Plot» Dorian says, "Alright, well second simple… Defaulting to Int to let loose a HE offensive mini grenade into the windshield of the city master."
«Auto-Judge[]» Dorian (#7753) rolls Assault Rifles vs TN 5 for "Base TN 4, +2 Defaulting, -1 Grenade link, 10S Offensive HE grenade.":
1 2 2 2 3 4 5 5 = 2 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Dorian (#7753) rolls Assault Rifles - 2 vs TN 5 for "Base TN 4, +2 Defaulting, -1 Grenade link, 10S Offensive HE grenade. KP2":
1 2 4 5 5 16 = 3 Successes
«Plot» Dorian says, "5 Enough to negate scatter?"
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 2 for "The scatter is?":
1 5
«Plot» The scatter is ordinarily 3 dice, down to 2 with grenade link, scatter of 6 meters is reduced by 4 for every success, the grenade scatter goes down to 0 and is perfectly targeted.
«Plot» " It goes boom right on the well-armored windshield, wreathing the Citymaster in flames. "
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Checking, and the answer is, not for high explosives. Power of 10 cannot beat Vehicular armor 10. They are, however, effectively blinded for a moment."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Which I consider valuable."
Once the assault rifle is raised, Dorian picks off an easy target.. Some poor sap chilling in his car waiting for the light to turn green, instead he gets the honor of being riddled up by a trio of bullets that come raining through his window and leave the poor guy derezzed and perhaps brainless in his seat. Once thats taken care of, Dorian quickly turns his rifle towards the Citymaster and arches it upwards while his brain sends down the message through the induction pad to let the mini-grenade loose which blows up dead onto the windshield of the truck and covers it in flames. After that? He quickly ducks for cover, knowing whats next.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Rigger goes next on 24."
Your gang has not hacked into the communications of the Cartwright Citymaster and their outrider. But if you were listening in you can imagine it sounding something like this: At first, a blase' tone. "Taking fire from the left, under the highway, do you co-HOLY CRAP! Call it in, call it in! I can't see, my sensors are rebooting!"
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 6 vs TN 4 for "To stop safely and not run into the car in front or drive out into the intersection - isn't it funny that that's what you want him to do? But he believes he's in an invulnerable machine.":
2 2 3 5 5 8 = 3 Successes

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Biker, 17"
The biker can just see the wreathing of flames. If you could hear his communication he'd be saying, "I see it, I copy. Rider to base, we are under attack at Colorado and I-70. Cloaking still engaged," and the welcome vroom of him gunning his engine and swooping amidst traffic to the point where he can actually swivel his gun down to the people under the highway.
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 6 vs TN 5 for "Driving":
1 1 1 2 4 7 = 1 Success
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 5 for "His perception to hear and spot someone who just, like, fired an assault rifle burst and shot a grenade":

«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 5 for "Wasting valuable karma rerolls on perception KP 1 biker":
1 2 2 4 11
«Plot» Dorian went into cover.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "And now, what we've all been waiting for, Maddox."
Maddox pages: What is the current distance to the Citymaster? All has gone well enough, I suppose?
You paged Maddox with 'It's exactly that 32 meter range you want it to be.'.
Maddox pages: Roll to throw? Defaulting to Athletics.
You paged Maddox with 'All this with grenades and you don't have Throwing?'.
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 1 for "This number, minus 2, is the number of innocent cars that happen to be around not counting the totally dead and blown up vehicle in front of the Citymaster blocking it.":
3
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "There just happens to be another car on the far side of the Citymaster, that likely has already taken some HE grenade damage."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The base TN for Maddox's throw is 5 at his throwing distance of about 30 meters, +2 because he is defaulting to athletics. The base Scatter is…."
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 1 for "Scatter":

«Auto-Judge[]» Maddox (#12229) rolls 5 (to Mr.Terrific):
1 2 2 4 9
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "One success will move the massive 24D C-12 explosive to within one meter of the rear tire. Since it is not 'emplaced', that means it is going to do 12S to the barrier rating of 10 on the hardened vehicle armor. Which will crack open a half-meter hole and do 2S damage to the guards inside."
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 5 + 3 vs TN 2 for "First guard":
1 1 2 2 2 4 5 7 = 6 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 5 + 3 vs TN 2 for "Second guard":
1 1 3 3 5 8 9 9 = 6 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Guards will take no damage though they have used 3 combat pool in desperation."
«Plot» Dorian says, "And the mage?"
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Mage is in the front of the vehicle with the driver, there's an interior wall. It takes little for them to take no damage."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Similarly, the all-important crates that you are trying to destroy, which are in the back, can withstand 2S."

Standing in his ferrocrete alcove, the ork is leaning against the steel door, waiting for the call. He has pulled the balaclava down over his features, brushing back the stained butcher paper concealing his Monosword. In his right hand is the satchel; the zipper is open just enough to allow him to active the item.
As the gunfire erupts, the older ork does the quickest of peeks around the corner. A quick glance down at the package, and he thumbs an activator. In a smooth motion he steps out a bit from the alcove, muscular arm using the strap of the haversack as leverage to wing the whole thing sidearm. His strength is evident as the haversack flies up and high in a parabolic arc, up and over the stopped car. Compared to an Ares round, the pack has a sort of stateliness, a slow arc of impending doom, as it hits the pavement, skidding toward the nearside rear wheel of the vehicle.
THe ork ducks back. BOOOMM!! says the bomb as it explodes, blasting out windows, hammering eardrums.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "It should also be mentioned that the 24D damage radiates out from the point of impact. I am using 'Die Hard' rules on the distances of plastique explosions, so the perfectly normal car that was about 6 meters from impact and has no armor gets ripped through by an 18d blast, killing the man and his wife who happen to be inside in the flash of an instant. In fact, the explosion reaches a good two-thirds of the way back to the thrower himself."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The guards within: If you could hear them on their commlinks, you would hear them saying things like: "I can't hear!" "Where are you!" while, reflexively, they draw their weapons and wave them around. The Citymaster bounces up and slams back down and gradually the flames are billowing out."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Sneezy, your turn. Anything you would like to do?"
«Plot» Sneezy says, "Good enough. Gonna toss a grenade and pray."
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 1 for "Sneezy's Scatter":
3
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "You need to reduce that scatter to 0 to get it inside. That means 2 successes on the 50 meter toss."
«Auto-Judge[]» Sneezy (#12374) rolls Strength vs TN 12:
1 2 3 5 5 8 9 = 0 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The grenade bounces clear of the hole, flaring up bright enough to wipe on people's thermographic vision."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Mage"
If you could hear the mage on his commlink, he'd be saying, "No targets! No targets! It's all on fire! Fire! Fire!"

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Second pass, where opponents can actually fire back if they have the option."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Dorian"
«Auto-Judge[]» Dorian (#7753) rolls Assault Rifles + 4 vs TN 11 for "Base TN 5, -2 Smartlink, +4 Cover, +4 ultrasound against invisibility, CP 9/11, KP 2/9, Recoil Comp: 9, 9 Round Full auto, Ex Ex Rounds.":

«Plot» Dorian says, "2 it is."
«Plot» Dorian says, "So 8M + 9 Round + Ex Ex, 19D with 2 successes."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Considering he is looking at a beginning 19D, he is going to roll all his combat pool and look for TN 6, and he needs 3 successes to dodge it completely. And here will likely go all his sweet sweet karma, too. :)"
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 9 vs TN 6 for "Combat pool looking for the full ultracool motorcycle dodge":
1 4 4 4 5 7 7 8 10 = 4 Successes
The outrider has his eyes down on Dorian. That's why he sees the quickness of the elf spin up to him and zero right in on his head - his Vision Mag 3 giving him a very fine look at the rifling on the barrel of Dorian's assault rifle. It's time for a hell of a swerve, and it guaranteed saves his life.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Rigger."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The rigger will swivel his damaged LMG over to fire at Dorian. He is at +4 due to cover, and +2 due to damage. He fires a 6 shot full auto burst, which is fully compensated."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The range is short, and he has the equivalent of a smartlink."
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 12 vs TN 8 for "Ping ping sptang!":

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "One success coming towards Dorian. It is, however, a D APDS success, but it is just 1 success and might easily be dodged by him ducking behind his concrete pillar."
«Plot» Except that I am informed he has only 2 combat pool and 1 karma for rerolls remaining.
«Auto-Judge[]» Dorian (#7753) rolls Body + 2 vs TN 9 for "Dying.":
1 1 2 2 2 2 5 5 8 9 16 = 2 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Dorian (#7753) rolls Body + 2 - 1 vs TN 9 for "Dying. Last KP":

«Plot»Dorian takes S.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Biker."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The biker will drive up to the lip, stop, and turn his LMG down on the gang. He uses the lip and his bike for cover, of course, it can only be seen in Ultrasound."
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 6 vs TN 7 for "Base Tn 5, -2 smartlink, +4 cover is 7. If only the biker had some combat pool left.":

«Plot» 14D APDS, 3 successes."
«Auto-Judge[]» Dorian (#7753) rolls Body for "More Dying"

«Plot» Dorian takes another D, and is down, bleeding and dying.

«Plot»Maddox!
«Plot» Maddox winds up to throw a grenade into the hole.

«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 1 for "Maddox's Scatter. You would like me to roll a 1 or 2.":
5
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Maddox's grenade ends up 3 meters away from the magical hole, here are the guards:"
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 8 vs TN 3 for "first guard, taking 3S after impact armor and shielded hole":
1 1 2 2 3 5 7 8 = 4 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 8 vs TN 3 for "second guard, taking 3S after impact armor and shielded hole":
1 2 3 5 5 7 11 11 = 6 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The first guard inside takes light, the second nothing, and they have no combat pool."
As the chaos erupts and the autofire begins, Maddox takes another look out from behind his cover. His gloved right hand has dropped to his jacket pocket; it emerges with a grenade; he thumb-swiped off the safety electronics, released his thumb to activate. An overhand lob, up to avoid cover and down to keep from skittering as much as possible. It lands some ten feet or so from the hole in the rear of the vehicle; an ear-splitting KRAK and that warping of vision that comes with a shockwave. No flames.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Guards!"
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "They will both shoot Bola rounds from their shotguns at Maddox, who is the main target they see."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "They are at long range tn6, +4 cover, -2 smartlink, +1 wounds on one."
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 4 vs TN 9 for "First guard":
2 3 4 5 = 0 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 4 vs TN 8 for "Second guard":
1 2 9 11 = 2 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "9m with 2 successes to Maddox. Dodge TN is 4 for full dodge, or hewill make a strength check of tn 9 to avoid falling prone."
«Auto-Judge[]» Maddox (#12229) rolls 4:
1 3 3 3
«Auto-Judge[]» Maddox (#12229) rolls Body vs TN 4:
1 2 3 3 4 4 5 7 9 = 5 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "5 Successes on body against 9m with 2 successes, you end up with 3 successes over the attacker, and you take Light damage. Now you roll Strength against 9 to try not to fall over."
«Auto-Judge[]» Maddox (#12229) rolls Strength vs TN 9:
1 2 2 3 3 4 4 4 = 0 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "You are knocked prone. It's a simple action to stand up."
The guardsmen inside finally poke their muzzles out, catching someone moving. That's him! Well, they'd shoot most anyone right now, but their thumping bola rounds zang out from the flames in any case.
The bola rounds whizzzz through the intervening space. The thunk of the first against the wall next to the ork; the second a solider, meatier thump as the hit the ork's (obviously armored) coat. They don't penetrate, but they hit like a pair of sledgehammers; the older ork is knocked off balance, stumbles a foot out, misses his footing, and falls to the concrete. "Motherfucker," he curses.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Third pass: Dorian goes first, and bleeds. Rigger:"
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 6 vs TN 8 for "Trying to use rigger magic to start his multiply exploded vehicle.":
1 1 5 7 8 8 = 2 Successes
Rrroooom! The rigger's vehicle burns back into life. It looks like he may think that discretion is the better part of valor, considering he has a giant hole in him and he's running on melted rims.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "And, inits for the second round. Sorina, you might want to roll in case you have anything clever you would like to do to help."
«Auto-Judge[]» Sneezy (#12374) rolls Initiative with a result of 8.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The biker swivels down to fire a 3-round burst at the remaining fellow."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "He will maintain combat pool. Base tn 5, +4 cover, -2 smartlink."
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 6 vs TN 7:
4 4 4 4 5 11 = 1 Success
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "11S APDS coming at Maddox. Using only combat pool, if he rolls 2x TN5, he is totally missed. Otherwise we go to body plus armor. He should choose how much combat pool he wants to roll to be missed."
Maddox pages: Full CP.
«Auto-Judge[]» Maddox (#12229) rolls 7:

«Auto-Judge[]» Maddox (#12229) rolls Body vs TN 6:
2 2 2 2 3 4 5 5 5 = 0 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Without karma, you may now roll your body. And there it is, you are taking S with the wounds rifling in."
The biker angles his bike's gun down from the lip of the concrete. "Got one target," he says, though he can barely hear what with all the explosions. He's clearly taking extra time, ratcheting back. He feels unthreatened. His brutal fire thup-thup-thups up into where Maddox lays.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Maddox's turn."
Maddox pages: Grenade at hole.
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 1 for "Scatter for grenade in the hole":
4
«Auto-Judge[]» Maddox (#12229) rolls Athletics:
1 1 4 5 7
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "One success reduces the scatter to 2 meters, right in front of the hole, with substantial explosion going within - but no chunky salsa effect."
Let no one say that the older ork isn't mission-first. Just as soon as he has fallen, APDS rounds track along his side, piercing clean through armor and flesh and the armor on the other side. The only saving grace may be that they make small wounds.
With a grunt, the ork stomps to his feet, his left hand almost insensately pulling his Monosword along for the ride. Instinct as his legs pump and he run/stumbles thirty feet forward, trying to get a likelier throw at the hole.
The grenade is palmed and tossed, a little more gently but high, landing in front of the hole. It explodes! obscuring vision of the hole. Is the stuff inside damaged sufficiently from the huge explosions and two offensive frags? Who knows?
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 11 vs TN 5 for "First guard, body against S":
1 1 1 1 1 2 3 3 4 5 10 = 2 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 11 vs TN 5 for "Second guard, Body against S":
1 3 3 4 4 4 5 5 7 7 8 = 5 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Guard 1 is now at M+L, guard 2 is at L. Used all combat pool hunkering down in the corner like dorks."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Guards! The more damaged guard hunkers down like a dork. The less damaged guard pokes out a weapon to fire at Maddox again."
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 4 vs TN 9:
2 5 5 10 = 1 Success
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "8m, 1 success. Roll body against 8m-your ballistic armor."
«Auto-Judge[]» Maddox (#12229) rolls Body vs TN 3:
1 1 1 3 4 5 5 9 10 = 6 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "And strength/9 for the bola round."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "You take no damage."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Sorina! Save us all."
«Plot» Sorina says, "going to call an ambulance then, as back up; and drive closer."
Sorina looks over and watches the explosions and flames burning in the street, all of which was part of the plan. People getting shot down by the machine guns, not so much. She starts the car and casually pulls it around and begins to move closer to the group, though she tries to look innocent as she does and stay behind some cover from the building or other cars.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Sneezy!"
«Plot» Sneezy says, "HMMM. So can you default from throwing to athletics?"
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Yes, at a +2."
«Plot» Sneezy says, "8 is at least easier to hit than 12."
Welp. It's looking like the run is totally fragged. Sneezy has one grenade left, and maybe one chance to salvage things. Of course, it might get him torn up by those LMGs too, but… hell, he signed on to this run knowing the risks. Time to dwarf up, Sneezy.
The dwarf pulls the pin on the grenade, tosses it toward the Hole of Salvation, then tries to get back behind the pillar before he dies.
«Auto-Judge[]» Sneezy (#12374) rolls Athletics + 1 for "Grenadery, 1 CP":
1 2 10 14
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 1 for "You would like me to roll a 4 or less on this scatter.":
1
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "They call it the 'Chunky Salsa' effect for a reason. Because the outer armor of a Citymaster is so superior to the inner armor. Because the burning conflagration bounces off and around the walls over and over again. Because the two wounded shotgunners inside are totally crushed. And because the inner separating wall between the cargo area in the back and the front where the driver and the mage are sitting is nothing compared to the grenade right there and the outer walls, it first bleeds through the explodes through and you can see the faces crushed up against the tinted windows, burning into skulls. Coincidentally, the outrider and his Harley Skorpion both become fully visible at this point, due to the lack of survival on the mage's part."
Commlink-Sneezy> Sneezy says, "YES! HOLY SHIT!"
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Basically, the guards will take 10s, then 8s, then 6s, then 4s, then 2s. The rigger and the mage will take 8s, then 6s, then 4s, then 2s. They don't have what it takes."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Actually, it's more than that - they take the secondaries each twice."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "From each direction."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Mage! he is off the board."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Biker! He is visible. He is also, apparently, a coward. He is going to fire a 3-round burst at Sneezy to get his licks in, and scoot back from the lip of the ramp he is on so he cannot be seen at all."
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 6 vs TN 7 for "tn 5, +4 cover, -2 smartlink, 3 round burst":
1 1 2 3 5 5 = 0 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "And he succeeds only in scaring him."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Maddox, the seriously wounded+1."
Maddox pages: I'm gonna drop smoke in front of the biker and try to haul ass.
«Auto-Judge[]» Maddox (#12229) rolls Athletics:
1 1 1 3 4
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Even wounded, you successfully hit 'the upper ramp.'"
The ork's eyes light up behind his scowling, hurt visage as he sees the grenade do its gruesome work. He gasps at the sight, as if his plan has changed on a dime. Into his other jacket pocket goes the hand; out comes a longer, canister-shaped grenade. He tosses it hard at the biker on the ramp, not even bothering to watch the results as he hauls as as best he can toward the car, Sorina.
For it's part, the grenade hisses and sputtered, shooting out clouds of white smoke.
No doubt the smoke both helps innocent drivers from not wanting to drive down the ramp, as well as suggesting to the outrider that it's okay if he just stays up there and radios in to base for the backup team.
Maddox half-runs, half-staggers to the confluence of the rest of his team and the getaway driver. He's hurt plenty bad, but still on his feet.. which is better than Dorian.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "We are now moving out of combat time. Sorina, are you driving in to pick them up?"
«Plot» Sorina says, " yes"

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Sneezy, are you administering medical aid to Dorian?"
Sneezy's heart pounds. Wow. What a reversal. OK Sneezy, freak out later. For now you need to think. Let's see. First, recover the wounded.
The dwarf stows his pistol, then sprints over toward where their nameless samurai fell. Once there, he slings the guy's rifle over his shoulders, then lifts the elf and starts dragging him toward the car. Not exactly a safe paramedical procedure, but things are going to get a whole lot worse in a couple minutes.
«Plot» Sneezy says, "Once we're in the car and moving, yeah."

Sorina pulls up to pick everyone up and waits for them to get into the car, once inside she barely waits for them to close the doors before she starts moving again and drives off down the street.
Dorian is ..just following along.
Dorian also bleeds.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Said car will actually have to drive over the curb and into the grass under the highway to get them, thus revealing it as part of the team. If it doesn't have flippable license plates and a transponder library, you will likely have to burn it… later. But for now, Knight Errant's cameras are offline for those precious few minutes it takes to get out of the immediate area. Only when they get to the cameras later will they be able to track it down."

"Drive safely," Sneezy reminds their driver. "Don't wanna get pulled over for reckless driving. Now…" He reaches over for one of his stowed medical kits and cracks it open.
"Let's see what I can do here." First aid. This is something he knows.

Maddox is able to make it to the van under his own power; he gives a long look at the elf, then the medic ministering to him. Then he sighs and exhales long, slumping back into his seat as his bullet holes weep.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Dorian's body is 9, for a -2. The conditions are bad, but not terrible, +1. The base TN for a deadly wound is 10. So to stabilize him, Sneezy needs a TN 9 on his biotech/first aid skill. If not, then a trauma patch would be the thing to use, but that has bad effects later in the process. Medicine is a complementary skill, you can add half your medicine skill to the roll. If only natural body counts, then body 6 and the TN becomes 10.
«Auto-Judge[]» Sneezy (#12374) rolls 10 vs TN 10:
1 2 3 4 4 5 5 8 10 13 = 2 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "And there we go. Now Dorian rolls body against TN 4 and he wants at least 2 successes to avoid losing an important organ."
«Auto-Judge[]» Dorian (#7753) rolls 6 vs TN 4:
1 3 4 4 4 10 = 4 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Sneezy (#12374) rolls 1 for "Saving lives, but does he save supplies? Not on a 1.":
3
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Well done, sir. No limb and organ damage. (If a trauma patch had been used, you would have lost a regrowable organ.)"
Sneezy peels back his hood and removes his balaclava, takes off his gloves, and quickly washes his hands with antiseptic. He works calmly but swiftly, his movements and bearing calm compared to his frantic energy during the firefight. It takes a while, but he manages to stabilize the samurai. Eventually he settles back with a relieved sigh.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Now, Sorina, as you are the driver, do you have a stealth or driving roll you could make? To, you know, drive casual?"
«Plot» Sorina says, " spending one karma for an extra dice on the roll"
«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) rolls Stealth + 1 for "1 karma":
2 2 3
«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) rolls Stealth + 1 for "1 karma plus KP":
3 3 5
«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) rolls Stealth + 1 for "1 karma plus more KP":
3 3 9
«Plot» Sorina says, " 8 karma spent so far"
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 3 vs TN 9 for "to notice something like blood on the car where Dorian was dragged in.":
4 5 9 = 1 Success
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 1 for "Evens to pull them over, odds to follow orders and cordon off the area":
2
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Wee-oo-wee-oo-wee-oo. Looks like that patrol car is flashing its lights at you."
«Plot» Sneezy says, "Can I cover the mess with a thermal blanket from my survival kit?"
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "You certainly can. You may make a stealth to cover up bleeding people in the back and pooled blood and stuff."

Sorina glances to the other guys in the back, "Hide the illegal gear." She then takes a deep breath as she starts to pull over to the side of the road.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Dorian's bag and such things are on the floor. Dorian lies in the back seat. Maddox and Dorian are under the blanket, and presumably Sneezy and Sorina are up in front where non-wounded people sit."

Maddox moves the minimum he can get away with. He lies down, trying to stay still, his Monosword held alongside his leg, a grenade in his hand. A closer look reveals it to be a concussion grenade.

«Plot» Sneezy pulls a thermal blanket from his survival kit, doing his best to cover Dorian completely, as well as most of Maddox's wounds. Then he takes his smartgoggles and flashbangs and other small illegal items and throws them under his seat. Then he leans back and tries to look natural.
«Auto-Judge[]» Sneezy (#12374) rolls Stealth:

The Knight Errant car parks behind you and comes up, shining a high-powered flashlight into the back The mirrored windows make this totally suck for police officers because there could be fucking anything in there. But no one leaps out to shoot him, so he comes by to tap on the window at the driver's side, Sorina's side.

Sorina smiles as she slowly rolls down the window, making sure its well open so he can get a nice whiff of her tailored pheremones. She then leans out the window slightly, ever so casually to draw his attention to her and away from anyone or anything else in the car. "Good afternoon."

Distractedly, he shines the high-powered flashlight in the car, only to make the reflections off of the shining silver thermal blanket that Sneezy spread out glare into his eyes and screw up his Low-Light vision, engaging the Flarecomp. He winces. "I'm sorry, ma'am, did you just drive by Colorado and I-70?"
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 4 vs TN 8:
2 4 10 11 = 2 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "I'm thinking you guys may have to kill a cop."

Sneezy doesn't smile. Too much smiling looks weird. He just sits there, watching the cop passively.

«Plot» Sorina says, "can I tell if he saw anything?"
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 3 for "The cop's stealth":
5 5 10
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "You may roll Int against 10."
«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) rolls Intelligence vs TN 10:
2 3 4 4 5 7 14 = 1 Success
«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) rolls Etiquette vs TN 10:
2 3 4 4 4 4 9 10 = 1 Success
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "You do detect a catch in his voice, likely after he shined the light in the back. Maybe he saw a lot of blood."

Sorina thinks about that for a moment as she tries to act a little confused, "Which street is that again? Oh you mean where that big fight was? Yeah, that was a huge mess!" She frowns slightly as she looks at the officer, "You probably need me as a witness or something right? I really need to get home to the children though, can't you bother someone else, I am sure there was a lot of people who saw it." She casually pulls out a credstick, as if it is common to bribe officers. "How much does it cost to get out of having to be a witness?"
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 4 vs TN 8 for "Negotiation (You can roll Negotiation against 4)":
1 2 3 4 = 0 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) rolls Negotiation + 4 vs TN 4 for "tailored pheremones +4":
1 1 1 3 3 3 5 5 5 5 5 = 5 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Sorina (#8376) rolls Negotiation - 1 vs TN 4 for "tailored pheremones +4, kp!":
1 2 4 5 10 11 = 4 Successes
«Plot» Sorina says, "I stand on 9 successes"
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The base is 20,000 because you have to bribe him and his partner. 9 successes takes that down by about 30%. So 14,000 is what it will cost and I will take it off at the end."

The officer says, "I thought so. You see, you have a splash of blood here on the side of your vehicle - I'm hearing there was a heck of a lot of explovies used. Do you know that people's limbs can be thrown hundreds of meters? But I can see I'm boring you." He takes special care to say, "I advise you to get that car cleaned up." Because like, if they find out that he stopped this car and it is ever tracked next to his vehicle, he will be screwed and so will you, if he has anything to say about it, you dig?
It is also possible that this cop does not want to be the only one around who discovers just how much more explosives you mad bombers may or may not have in that car.

Sorina looks shocks, "Oh my, that is simply horrible. I didn't even realize." She nods quickly and slips the credstick over to him. "I will be sure to clean it up as soon as I get home. Have a good day officer."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "And with that, you disappear into the all-concealing shadows, and get rid of the car. (I'll handle that with Dorian, he had to go.) Any last poses before I end log, go."

Sneezy tries to smile, but it hurts too much. 14k! But he has to reluctantly admit it's better than another big heaping plate of bullets. Yum.

Sorina smiles as she casually drives off, before taking the car some place nice to burn then have the wreckage donated to a chop shop. Making sure there is no proof. She then removes her disguise and gets cleaned up before heading back to collect her pay.
«Auto-Judge[]» Sneezy (#12374) rolls 10 vs TN 7 for "Patching up Maddox":
1 1 2 2 3 4 5 5 8 13 = 2 Successes
«Plot» Sneezy patches up Maddox once they're safe and sound, reducing his wounds to moderate ones.
