Synopsis: Runners are hired to bring down a building, onto another building, to knock out the matrix. Its Dominos
Date: 1-18-74

Word comes to you as it does normally, be it by fixer, some trix address, or possibly even a phone call. The jay will be at the back room to Chrome, and your job shall require a bit of break and enter, with a dash of planting explosives.

Shoeshine hms, sounds like his kind of job. Simple, classic, and so forth. He gears up appropriately once he's over the Warrens Wall, and heads on in tooled up and ready.

Even after the requisite split with the head of the Omens, Oz was still looking at more income than he'd seen for a long time. Blood money, but wasn't any of it anymore? The houngan readied his small collection of 'equipment'. Scratch - always starting from scratch. It means he'll have to depend on les invisibles more than anything else, but when has that ever been different?
Having gathered what he can, the tusked ork heads for the Chrome, his right sleeve buttoned closed once again. That seems to be the case more and more often of late..
Biggie throws a bag of gear together, one appropriate for a well rounded job. He drives to Chrome. Not worrying to much, it is a decently populated club…He parts his bike, and walks to the club, and makes his way through the crowds to the backroom.

Breaking and entering, planting explosives? This is the kind of job the Venetian enjoys. Putting on a fresh disguise, the mysterious lady shows up at Chrome dressed in her common "meet the jay" affiar: stylish red jumpsuit, blond hair blue eyes, fair skin, she looks european at the moment.
Wasting no time, the enigmatic girl heads straight to the back room, sitting down at the conference room for a second time this week. Trust medallion around her neck, she isn't taking any chances, as usual.
Venetian dropped Trust Medallion.

Caine is there in the back room, in his hoverchair. He is in his 'Johnson' disguise, that is, a middle aged bald human, a scar going over his left eye with a pupil gone white. In his lap is a white persian cat that he absently pets as he watches you all enter the room. When the last person has entered, and either seated or decided to stand, he will start. "Good evening, I have a rather simple task, I need you to break into a building and plant some explosives with a timer set to a specific time. The damage will cause something of a chain reaction, but the intent is to only deal with things, not people….though there will be a large number of headaches as a result." The cat seems to be staring at Venetian…and looking very annoyed.

Biggie shows up as an older version of himself. Not that hard to see through, but not exactly himself either

Shoeshine makes his usual entrance - a young, heavyset, powerful dwarf, currently dressed in Warrens gear appropriate to the weather. He trundles in as befits short thick legs, toting a leather shoeshiner's valise with microfiber rags sticking off out the pockets and a footrest on the side. He's distracted by the medallion, having to wrench his eyes away from it… does everyone have one of those damn things? Eventually, he says, "I can see why you called me! If the timing is right and people are unlikely to be harmed, I'm in."
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Willpower vs TN 28 for "oh please":

The scarred up ork siddles up to the private table after Shoeshine and the Venetian. The medallion catches his gaze for a long few seconds - before he places his finger and thumb on the bridge of his nose, slowly rotating and squeezing from the sudden headache. Trying to refocus himself on the task at hand, Oz glances to Shoeshine during the dwarf's cheerful announcement before looking back to the 'old man'. A disguise, he found from the last run - but what does it matter? Money is money, and if Oz could afford a disguise, he'd be in one as well.
"Normal questions, then, bur.." He begins. ".. Where at, how much, and when by?"
Bigman has been around the Venetian character not to be distracted by the Medallion, and he can care less about the aura…He sits down at the table with 'Johnson' and nods "Sounds like a decent job enough…" he looks annoyed ith something and turns back to the Johnson "I'm in…"

"Do we have data chips this time, Mister Jay?" the Venetian asks in a bit of a brooklyn accent. "Because you know I'm already with the whole exploding thing, though I have no idea why you think I'd care about collateral."

Caine smiles, still petting his annoyed cat. It briefly hisses in Venetians direction, then Caine answers the questions. "Your going to blow up a building, but it has to be precise. You of course will be blowing it while its empty. The pay will be *." He reaches down into a compartment on his chair, picking up some chips and laying them on the table. "This has the building specs, and where the explosives need to be planted. It also has where you can pick up the explosives, since they have already been aquired for you." He then smiles at Venetian, "Well, you may not care, but sometimes others do." This with a look towards Shoeshine now.

Shoeshine turns his wide-eyed, youthful, innocent gaze slightly to the ceiling. When he gets his chance to slot a chip into his pocsec, he's first looking for the location (and thus, who's in charge and the security level) before he looks at the actual building to eye the security systems.
"It's not even Bee Why Oh Bee? Well color me sold!" the Venetian responds happily in the same brooklyn accent, slapping her knee for a moment to give the phrase emphasis. Glancing around the room as others don't seem to catch the acronym's meaning, she adds "What? Bring-Your-Own-Bomb. It's a thing."
Bigman leans back to his chair and slots the chip into the pocsec "If the explosives don't destroy the building after following these instructions?"
Oz remains quiet for a moment, before nodding aside to Bigman. "Hm. It's a good question. If the instructions are followed, but the explosive's aren't enough for some reason.. " He breaks off, then proceeds with anotehr question. "Also, what is our time frame?" He then glances aside to the Venetian, frowing and reaching up to scratch under his chin.

Caine answers more questions, "Our expert here should figure out the purpose of this job, from the information presented. As long as the explosives are in the places indicated, things will go as planned. Your payment is assure unless the explosives are found or fail to detonate. That said, the explosives must detonate tommorow night at 3:27 and 21 seconds, am."

The Venetian picks up one of the chips, slotting it into her own pocsec. She just holds the pocsec, reading the info with the image link in her eyes via the induction jacks in her hands. The building, the explosives, the security measures are all coming into her view, information being absorbed by her mnuemonic enhancer's eidetic memory almost as quickly as she can access it.

The chip notes the target is in the Ute section of the FTZ, security is B to A on the surrounding blocks. The target building is currently occupied by four different minor companies, mostly offices. Its six stories tall, one company holding the top three floors, and that company being an investment corporation.

To (Venetian, Frostlog), Caine pages: Roll demolitions to me and frost

There is also listed a parking garage with a keycode for the garage and a car, a ford americar, which has the explosives in the trunk and is already parked in the UTE FTZ.

Shoeshine is nowhere near the expert on explosives that the Venetian is, but he does have some knowledge. Mostly, he expects to be opening doors as needed. He's guessing that it's going to be a controlled demolition, but then tries to figure out what might be happening at that particular time. "Do we have any decker support on this one?"
To (Venetian, Frostlog), Caine pages: Ohh its definatly going to fall to the east, likely take out half the building next to it in the process.
To (Shoeshine, Frostlog), Caine pages: Roll demo for info on the setup

To (Venetian, Frostlog), Caine pages: You arent really sure, you don't remember anything specific in that area.
To (Shoeshine, Frostlog), Caine pages: It seems like its for a fall to the right, likely to damage the building next to it.

Oz frowns again, rubbing his right wrist with his left hand. Then reaching out to take one of the datachips, sliding it into his pocket for now. He'll have to remember to bring a chip reader -with- him one of these days. He then sits back, trying to consider how best to carry out an explosive run with the resources available. Of course, there's at least one person who seems boom happy, but that doesn't mean reliable. A glance towards both Bigman and Shoeshine while the houngan tries to puzzle out their part in his head. And then back to the Johnson.
"And afterwards, Mister Jay… how do you contact you for the money?"

Caine gestures to the chips, "At the end of the data you'll find a number, it will reach me for the next three days."

To (Venetian, Frostlog), Caine pages: TXT INFO: Ute Government building….matrix trunk line.
Bigman looks over the data more, "I say we take some times, scope out the target building for its security…." he turns to Venetian "You should pick up the package and wait instructions."
Shoeshine says, "All right! do we get to use the room for planning, should we get another one? This seems more like a stealth mission; unless we're going to plant and then run out the building diving dramatically at 20 seconds."

Caine chuckles "I'll leave then, your free to use this room. The explosives must be set….and not found, until the set time tommorow night." He then activates his chair, and starts for the exit.

Oz glances aside to Shoeshine, peering quietly before speaking. ".. I know of flesh and blood well enough. I do not need it shrived from my bones." He then glances between all three of his 'compainions', frowning. But waits until their 'J' is out of the room before speaking.
"Cerri.. despite what he said, it may be best to move to another room anyways. As for retcon.." A glance towards Bigman. ".. I have some ideas."

Caine heads out, gone gone gone.

Shoeshine saith, "Let's hear it! Like I said, I open doors pretty good. And I can loop cameras and stuff like that if I can get up to them without being seen."

For a few moment, the Venetian is simply sitting there tapping her gloved fingers on the table, holding her pocsec while staring off into space. The she sits up, and says to the team: "So the building is going to collapse onto a matrix trunk, taking it out for a time. That's why the explosives are where they are, to make sure the weight of the building lands correctly on the underground matrix line."
"That, I may help with as well." States Oz, to Shoeshine with a smirk. "I travel the path; I can turn the cameras gaze from you, so that you walk unseen among them." He then frowns, unbuttoning that sleeve to unsheath the wicked hook on his right arm. Which he uses to dig at a particularly infuriating itch on his shoulder. "Hm. If I move among the spirits, I can see what living souls await in the building. I may even be able to track one of the night guard home, and whisper in his ear if needs be." A glance aside to Venetian, and a blink.
"Peculiar, but as long as it is not designed to fall on us, shaw."
Shoeshine huhs. "Very nice! I thought it was just falling left onto the building next door." He nodskernods to Oz. "If you can keep people from seeing me, too, I can choke 'em out or dart them and stuff, so we can carry them out of trouble."

"People think. Cameras do not. There is no guarantee where a living mind rests." A shrug. "But I will do as I can. What of you?" His glance turns, now, to Bigman.
Bigman nods "Why the J needs what they need isn't my concern," he turns to Oz "You should take the halfer into the building…get him to a point where he can turn the cameras off…then we…" he nods to Venetian "can bring in the package."
«Plot» Venetian says, "What kind of explosives are we using?"
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Magic Background:

Shoeshine says "Do you know if they have magical security dudes and stuff? If you can float through and check that, that would be great."
Another frown from the houngan ork. "It is in a neighborhood rich enough. I can certainly look." he answers the dwarf, before nodding to Bigman. "We must assume there will be sealed doors all the way. Do you and the other have a way of getting in?" He doesn't know why, but he feels - at ease? These are obviously professionals. Trustworthy, in so much as one can be in these situations.

Shoeshine asides to Oz, "I think they're assuming that I'll be leaving doors open on a pathway."
Bigman turns to Shoeshine "If you can get into the camera system, you can get into the security system right?"
«Game» Backup to offline storage commencing. Game may freeze for a bit…
Shoeshine says, "So, for our plan, I am seeing two big snags. One, an invisible spirit thingie spots me. Two, it's a rigged, or actively decked security system and whoever that is, they see the physical stuff I'm doing to loop the cameras. Yeah, there is usually some kind of security room where the actual machinery for the cameras is all linked up and you can usually do most of the building from there… but if it's being rigged remotely, you can't. So - I don't think any deckers piped up.. I can call a decker pal and she can check out if the place is all rigged up. She'll charge, I'll cover it."
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) has the Contact Jennifer Carpenter with the following information (only to Frostlog and Caine):
-----> Contact for Shoeshine (#844) <----
Contact Name: Jennifer Carpenter
Level: 1
Type: decker
GM Note: Konstantin's backup; Jennifer is more of a handler in terms of information. She handles the computing and the decking, and takes in more directed information and intel.

«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Etiquette (to Frostlog and Caine):

To (Shoeshine, Frostlog), Caine pages: Your contact answers and asks what do you need?
Shoeshine makes a quick call with his jack plugged into his pocsec.
To (Caine, Frostlog), Shoeshine pages: Got an address here - want to know if their security system is actively rigged, actively decked. Or otherwise, what kind of security alerts they can send out if they have any. You know, standard stuff!
"I can sense for other spirits.. " Begins Oz, with a quiet frown. ".. But I cannot remove them. Not without alerting that to which the spirit owes allegiance." He rubs his chin again, considering, his tusked jaw shifting. "Although I could help us avoid it. So.. " A glance to Shoeshine again as the dwarf begins making a call, before the ork shrugs. "Hm. we've some time. Do you have a contact number?" A glance among all three now.
«Auto-Judge[]» Venetian (#5507) rolls Demolitions (to Frostlog and Caine) for "How long, about, do I think it will take me to plant all the charges, including moving from location to location, at stealth speeds and at running speeds?":
1 2 3 5

To (Shoeshine, Frostlog), Caine pages: Jennifer: Alright, I can look into that, give me a little time. I'll need fifteen hundred for the work.
To (Venetian, Frostlog), Caine pages: To ensure it falls properly its going to need pretty tight placement, and the basement is multiple rooms where your going to be hitting pillars. You'd think at least ten to fifteen minutes of time.
To (Venetian, Frostlog), Caine pages: For stealth, for running, maybe five to eight minutes.
Shoeshine authorizes a payment, then looks up. "Okay, I have someone working the decking angle. Here's my commlink id, and my burner number for this job."
To (Shoeshine, Frostlog), Caine pages: You'll get a reply from Jennifer in thirty minutes. Panicbuttons, cameras that are monitored from a security company elsewhere. They do have drones on location that can be rigged remotely from the security company for immediate response.
"Looking at the schematics, we are talking ten to fifteen minutes of planting explosives if we're sneaking around, or maybe half that if we just rush it." The Venetian states, having heard the ideas from the other runners. "If we plant it last minute, say… twenty minutes before it has to blow? There is no way it can get disarmed in time." the lady adds, twirling her pocsec on the table in front of her while slouching in her seat.
"Hm. But that would also mean a flawless exit, cerri." Grunts Oz, towards Venetia as he leans his chin upon his fist. That right hook idly catching on the edge of the chair arm and releasing again. "We would have to be completely certain in both planting and leaving."

Bigman nods "If we plant it previously to the 20minute mark we have to make sure it is hidden enough that it's not found…" he looks around "I think we need to do scouting…only so much to tell from a datachip…" he flips through the information looking for further data on the security itself.
Shoeshine eventually gets a response. "I'm hearing that they have panicbuttons, and cameras that feed to a remote security company. So it's pretty standard, don't let them hit the button, fool the cameras. Personally, I think I go in a little early to 'open the way' and have some time to check stuff out, then the two of you go in with plenty of time. I will also be checking the place for people working late to make sure of no injuries."
Shoeshine adds in, "Oh yeah, they have drones on location that get rigged from the security company for immediate response. So we should, like, not have a security response."

"Listen to this from a different perspective then. There are only a handfull of outcomes. We fail to plant the bomb, we plant the bomb and it gets found, we plant the bomb and it doesn't get found. If we add timing as a concern, we might say there's also the risk of them disarming the bomb if it's found. There is never a 'second chance' scenerio here, no matter how quickly we plant the explosives. So why add the risk?" the girl calculates, showing her thought process. The Venetian may have some experience with this sort of thing.

"Hm." The flatfaced breeder made a solid point. Even the houngan tusker had to admit that. Shrugging his shoulders in acquiescence, he glances to Bigman and Shoeshine. "So. The halfer and I go in and clear the path - and then you and the -" He pauses, glancing to the Venetian again. ".. the woman follow us with the package. If you are certain you can plant them before the timers go off, then it sounds as if we have a plan. I will retire to begin my own recon… where shall we meet back again?"

«Plot» Shoeshine says, "How far away is the garage with the explosives laden car?""
Shoeshine picks a spot 5 blocks from the target site, near to the explosives laden car, as a rendesvous point.
To (Venetian, Frostlog), Caine pages: At least 10 minutes for the bomb squad, they take alot longer than regular responders.
Bigman nods and pulls a commlink from his bag and slips it over his ear "We'll meet up at the rendezvous and then do some scouting. Finalize plans as we need?"
Shoeshine says, because he doesn't know this scarred up ork and the explosives expert who is better than him, "Let me know if you need a ride."
Shoeshine assumes po' folks.
Oz has reconnected.

Oz nods his head at the location, frowning in thought. He'd have to leave early to get there - and then Shoeshine offers a solution to even this. Had he been in a normal frame of mind, he would have declined out of general purpose. But, well - the guy just seems a little trust worthy. They all do.
"I will take you on that offer." He states, nodding once.
Shoeshine says, "I don't know you so's I gotta ask - you gotta SIN to make the crossing into the Free Trade Zone, or do we have to find another way in for you?"

Bigman stands up from his seat. "Anything else to discuss here?"

"So then what's the plan? Case the joint tonight and hit it tomorrow?" the Venetian flatly asks her compatriots.

Oz frowns for a moment, then shakes his head. "As always, I must fine my own way around. It is not wise to linger close to the checkpoints." and then too Bigman, "None else."
Shoeshine headbobs ayup! to the Venetian. "Okay, you call me if you don't got a way in. I know a guy who knows a guy."
Shoeshine too heads off, after a quick…

To (Caine, Frostlog), Oz pages: Alright. For my casing, guess I'll summon a 1F Loa to watch over my body. Then find the place and carefully scout for spirits, wards, etc.
To (Frostlog, Oz), Caine pages: Ok, make a stealth roll, and a perceptin roll
To (Caine, Frostlog), Oz pages: And mundane guards obviously
To (Oz, Frostlog), Caine pages: What time of day do you go?

To (Oz, Frostlog), Oz pages: As close to todays 330 am as I can get, to mimic conditions tomorrow
Bigman drives to the meeting point. Waiting for everyone else to show. While he is waiting he looks over the pocsec data one more time.
To (Caine, Frostlog), Oz pages: Unless the run is happeningTHAT morning at 330 am?

Oz nods to Shoeshine when he's eventually picked up, having made his way into the FTZ. Albeit, via greasing palms with money he would have rather kept - but not everything can be smooth when you're working from Scratch.
Without preamble, he begins. "I spent some time last night getting a read on the building at three thirty AM, cerri. It is as blunt as a circuit board." He states, frowning quietly. "And as empty as a deckers soul. There is nothing alive in there during that time."
«Auto-Judge[]» Bigman (#9958) rolls Magical Security:
1 1 5 5
«Plot» Caine says, "The building has nobody, its empty. It also has no magical security whatsoever, that said, there are plenty of cameras outside that you can see. The doors are sturdy and have excellent locks. The cameras outside likely have low light and thermo vision modes, you also spot some ultrasound sensors near entry points."
Shoeshine can't rationally have the kind of equipment he needs to take out drones, so when it's time to go in he will have… some plastic opaque tarps to throw around them and wrap them up. Always wondered if that would work. He, too, can bypass all the doors and cameras except for the ultrasound. However, plus side is that he can see the ultrasound easily with his ultrasound eyes. So if he can skirt a way in to figure that out and hot get tagged by them, he can do his part of the plan.
Venetian dropped Armor.
To (Caine, Frostlog), Shoeshine pages: Is there a way to get in that isn't ultrasound covered?

To (Shoeshine, Frostlog), Caine pages: Maybe a window, you'd have to break/cut the glass
To (Caine, Frostlog), Shoeshine pages: Any of them open for fresh air? Any sewer entrances or air vents?
To (Shoeshine, Frostlog), Caine pages: There are air conditioners/heaters on the roof, but the vents are pretty small
Oz has partially disconnected.
To (Caine, Frostlog), Venetian pages: I watch the building it's going to fall onto

To (Venetian, Frostlog), Caine pages: Its not really occupied at night, but it does have a small crew of security guards. It appears to be the DMV for the UTE, likely why it has a major trix junction under it.
«Plot» Shoeshine will be invisible for that, and will also be looking for the Ultrasound Emitters in the alleyways that, like, have cars drive by, and so thus are used to variations and things.
«Plot» Caine says, "The alleys are not ultrasound covered, only the doors are."
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) has the Contact Konstantin Kuryakin with the following information (only to Frostlog and Caine):
-----> Contact for Shoeshine (#844) <----
Contact Name: Konstantin Kuryakin
Level: 3
Type: fixer
GM Note: Konstantin Kuryakin (no relation to U.N.C.L.E.) is a one-stop shop for guns, ammo, explosives, armor, and the basic tools of the trade. He's also Shoeshine's primary 'handler'… Shoeshine feeds him information and gets the occasional mission in response.

To (Caine, Frostlog), Venetian pages: I'd like to roll my terrorist cells in an effort to replicate a strategy we.. I mean they… used in Cairo a few years back to disable ultrasound emitters on a building there.
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Etiquette + 2 vs TN 4 for "rating 2 ultrasound emitter/detector is etiquette tn 4, with a rating 3 contact for +2 dice":
1 2 2 3 4 5 5 16 = 4 Successes
«Plot» Caine says, "Success, you will have an R2 emitter/detector in 18 hours"
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Negotiation vs TN 6 for "Kuryakin's int is 6":
3 3 3 8 = 1 Success
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls 7 vs TN 6 for "Kuryakin's nego":
1 1 2 3 4 4 8 = 1 Success
«Plot» Shoeshine says, "Even price."
«Plot» Caine says, "That works."
Shoeshine sources the emitter of the day, departing from the gang to make the pickup and read the instructions for it's use. He's familiar with the general concept, and basically, it just means he's going to have to crawl up to the damn thing he was going to have to crawl up to in any case - it's just that this is really the tool for the job. He makes a show of grumbling about how this job is starting to cost him more than the job's gonna make, but it's just for show, really. He'll still turn a profit unless one of those drones comes alove and shoots him up (knock formica).

To (Caine, Frostlog), Venetian pages: Well I have an idea in mind
«Auto-Judge[]» Venetian (#5507) rolls Terrorist Cells:
1 2 3 3 5 7 8
To (Venetian, Frostlog), Caine pages: What do you have in mind?
To (Caine, Frostlog), Venetian pages: Loud vermin in the alley that they won't be able to get an exterminator for until the next business day, causing them to disable the ultra
To (Venetian, Frostlog), Caine pages: The problem is the vermin would have to be RIGHT at the doorway. The ultrasound is focused on just 5 feet around the doors. To avoid problems just like that

«Auto-Judge[]» Caine (#7926) rolls 4 vs TN 2 for "Ultrasound vs shoeshine":
2 2 2 11 = 4 Successes

Shoeshine knows what he has to do. He's arranged his clothes the way you're supposed to (he doens't have the ruth or the special ultrasound suit for this), he's worming on the ground, he's not where anyone will step on him.. but this is the hard part. The thirty minute crawl. Never getting bored. Never getting hyper. Never sweating. Slithering like the snake they had in his junior high science class. No idea how powerful, how accurate, the device he's going against is, not until he starts disabling it.
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Stealth + 2 vs TN 2:
1 2 3 4 4 4 5 8 = 7 Successes
Shoeshine knows he also has to do the cameras that watch this area, and this device, and then the doors. A dwarf's work is never done! But this is where he earns his keep, and why he hopefully gets to say, "I open doors," at meets.
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Electronics vs TN 5:
1 2 4 4 5 8 = 2 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Electronics vs TN 5 for "cameras":
1 1 3 5 11 11 = 3 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Electronics B/R vs TN 5 for "door":
1 2 4 5 5 9 = 3 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Electronics vs TN 5 for "door":
3 4 5 5 5 9 = 4 Successes
Oz has reconnected.
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Electronics vs TN 5 for "Alarm on door":
1 2 3 5 5 15 = 3 Successes
To (Caine, Frostlog), Oz pages: Mind catching me up with current activites?

Shoeshine 's fun part of this is that you have to move slow and as 'behind' the emitter as possible in order to disable it. Did it go off? How can he tell? His sensors dono't think so, but he'll find out if the Ute security forces roll up, he supposes. From there, it's looping the cameras without having them report, then taking off the maglock security box without having it report, then unlocking the door without having it report, and finally linking up the alarm on the door so it can be opened, again, without having it report. And none of these things are 'hard', exactly.. he's seen more serious doors.. but none of them are hugely fast, and the possibility for terminal fuckup is large. Yet, so far, it seems thankfully not to happen.
«Auto-Judge[]» Oz (#9314) rolls Sorcery + Sorcery Pool: 2 + 2 (totem) vs TN 4 (to Frostlog and Caine) for "F5 Improv Invis on Shoeshine":
1 1 2 2 2 5 5 8 10 = 4 Successes
«Plot» Caine says, "Oz made his invis roll to me privately. Your invis Shoe"
To (Caine, Frostlog), Oz pages: Frig. No totem bonus. Want me to rerroll?

The door is open, no sounds.

Shoeshine listens at the door before slipping in, hopefully when no other cameras outside can see. And then, it's time to 'open the way'. They've plotted out the course of areas he will have to clear, and so he has to traverse it, undoing ultrasounds, unlocking doors, managing alarms as he goes. And while he's doing all that, he has to keep an ear open for patrolling drones, and for anyone who just happens to be staying late, because they will have to be knocked out and removed.
«Auto-Judge[]» Oz (#9314) rolls Sorcery + Sorcery Pool: 2 vs TN 4 (to Frostlog and Caine) for "f5 improved invis (Done right this time)":
1 2 2 3 4 4 5 = 3 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Oz (#9314) rolls Willpower + Sorcery Pool: 2 vs TN 3 (to Frostlog and Caine) for "Drain":
2 2 3 4 5 5 5 = 5 Successes

At the end of the hall, in a major intersection of hallways, sits a small drone, its just sitting there, a small wheeled ferret

«Auto-Judge[]» Oz (#9314) rolls Sorcery + Sorcery Pool: 4 vs TN 6 (to Frostlog and Caine) for "Improved Invis on Oz +2 for sustaining another spell":
1 1 1 2 3 3 4 4 4 = 0 Successes
From afar, to (Caine, Frostlog): Oz laughs! Hm. After rolling drain, I can try that again, right?
«Auto-Judge[]» Oz (#9314) rolls Willpower vs TN 5 (to Frostlog and Caine) for "5M Drain":
1 2 2 2 3 = 0 Successes
Shoeshine uses his eyes to see if it is ultrasounded, and is otherwise as quiet as possible. And will, like, just sneak past it for now, but he will tell them for when the time comes, and well, we'll have to find a way to disable it.
«Auto-Judge[]» Caine (#7926) rolls 4 vs TN 9 for "Sensors detecting shoeshine, +3 Signature for using radar only":
2 3 3 4 = 0 Successes

«Plot» Shoeshine says, "First, I would do all the things I knew I had to do, to get them done. Handling all the doors and cameras on the approved route, and looking for other drones and placements."
«Plot» Shoeshine hasn't been killed yet so he doesn't think the drone saw him.
«Plot» Caine says, "You managed to sneak past it due to it only being able to notice you with proximity sensors and radar."

«Plot» Caine says, "I need 3 rolls each of elec, elec b/r and elec again, all TN 5. This is to open multiple doors and make a path. Then I need an intelligence roll, or some sort of planning roll. And then a perception roll."
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Electronics vs TN 5 for "roll 1":
1 1 2 2 3 11 = 1 Success

2 2 2 3 4 9
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Intelligence for "perception with many senses":
1 1 2 3 4 14
Shoeshine has that dwarven willpower thing going. Even with his mind going a mile a minute to figure out the new 'puzzle', he steadily does all the things he has to do, never rushing, never screwing up, steady and proper.
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Electronics vs TN 5 for "again roll 1":
1 2 4 4 4 8 = 1 Success
«Auto-Judge[]» Shoeshine (#844) rolls Electronics vs TN 5 for "again roll 2":

After quite a bit of time, the dwarf manages to make his way through multiple doors, finding a roudabout route through the first floor to the stairs to the basement. There is another drone on the first floor, making it two, but through clever planning and door work, anyone following will easily avoid the drone….as long as they are invisible to avoid cameras. Disabling all the cameras would likely make a sign that something was up, so the wisest course of action the dwarf can see is simply send in one person with the explosives, even if it takes more time. That said….your time is growing close now.

Oz, for his own part, has been staying -out- of the building once covering Shoeshine with the shroud; He had briefly toyed with joining the halfer, butthe concentration necessary to achieve the effect keeps escaping him. It's actually given him a rather nasty migraine, which is why he has given up the effort for now, maintaining 'over-watch' nearby while keeping a firm grasp on the power that flows through his spirit to the distant dwarf. Keeping the weaving from coming undone.
«Auto-Judge[]» Oz (#9314) rolls Intelligence (to Frostlog and Caine) for "Overwatch - Keeping an eye and an ear out for trouble on the outside.":
1 2 3 4
Shoeshine makes his escape to the outside door - a place where he can hide and even if he becomes visible, all that will be seen is his disguised polymasked face, and this is where the did in fact take out the cameras. It's a place where he can escape easily, but also come to anyone's rescue. Over the comm he says, "De-invis me, put the mojo on the expert. She has a path that avoids the two drones."

«Auto-Judge[]» Venetian (#5507) rolls Stealth:

«Auto-Judge[]» Oz (#9314) rolls Sorcery + Sorcery Pool: 4 vs TN 6 (to Frostlog and Caine) for "5F Improv Invis, M-Stun in effect for +2. Dropping invis on dwarf.":
1 2 2 2 2 5 5 5 10 = 1 Success
«Plot» Venetian says, "I sneak around trying to avoid detection, just in case the invis doesn't work, again."
«Auto-Judge[]» Oz (#9314) rolls Willpower vs TN 5 (to Frostlog and Caine) for "5M drain, M stun already in effect.":
1 1 2 3 4 = 0 Successes

«Auto-Judge[]» Venetian (#5507) rolls Stealth:

At the crackled word over his transceiver, Oz releases his hold on the magic, letting it unravel back to Les Invisibles. he then tries to force himself through the migraine to shroud Venetian as she passes by - an effort which causes small trickles of blood to prickle down his nostrils. He wipes it away with a woozy wince.
To (Caine, Frostlog), Oz pages: Now at S level stun, so +3 to efforts.
«Auto-Judge[]» Venetian (#5507) rolls Stealth for "Stealth check #3":

«Game» Backup to offline storage commencing. Game may freeze for a bit…

Hiding her medallion for just a moment, the Venetian's magical defenses are lowered to make way for Oz's invisibility spell. A moment later she has exposed the trust medallion yet again, and is sneaking down the hallways with several satchels of explosives in tow. She makes her way past the drones and down the stairs, and begins placing the explosives.

Comm-Phantasm>One plant in the garden.

Some seconds later, she speaks again.Comm-Phantasm>Two pants in the garden now.
She pauses a moment. Reaching a hand into her coat pocket, she holds her pocsec, and with it she sees the data. The building's structure, the way it has to fall just right. Site B's location is wrong. She adjusts the explosive a few meters to the right.
Comm-Phantasm>Correction, second plant was a weed, had to repot it.

Minutes go by as she reports the planting of the remaining explosives. She's nearly done as the drones buzz by predictably, forcing her to hide once more. A few moments later, she's done planting the last explosive and is on her way of the building.

Timing was pretty good, though it was close at the end. You had ten minutes by the time the last one was planted and Venetian had exited the building. That gives you just enough time to get in your vehicles and be a few blocks away when the explosion goes off. The building topples like planned, tearing into the next building and causing most of it to collapse too, this combined weight of rubble crushes the matrix junction under the building, knocking out a huge chunk of the UTe FTZ matrix for a time. Things will reroute eventually, but right now there isn't enough bandwith to support anything beyond tortise style applications.

You make your phone calls, and your payments are transfered.

The ork shaman watches the fireworks from afar with Shoeshine - probably. Mostly as the halfer was his ride in, and likely his ride back to the edge of the FTZ. It'll be up to Oz to make his way back out again; Nothing unusual there. His left hand in his pocket and his right hook buttoned up in its longer sleeve again while he watches the explosions.
"… You do good work." He says at last, glancing aside and down. "For an ujnort." He amends, with a tusky smirk.
Shoeshine splits up from the gang, finding it likely that he might run into them on his usual rounds. (He doesn't know that he's already done some business with the Venetian already because it was done through 'trix.) But he does have a big smile on his face when he takes off his polymask and such, because it was a clean run. That's damn rare.
