Synopsis: Hired to kill a runner who owes a debt!

«Plot» Diego says, "Greetings. I am not going to ask for consent right now. I have a new plan! If I ask you for consent DURING the plot, it means you are in or soon to be in a very risky life or death situation. This is more than just bad rolls, if I'm asking for consent it usually means your doing something really stupid or that gives a very high chance of death. Its basicly a warning and once I ask it, you might want to rethink your strategy."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "I am intriguied and I agree!"
«Plot» Alessandra agrees.
«Plot» Hunni says, " Ah, GM warning and such rolled into one. I'm in!"

For Terrific and Hunni, they are contacted directly from Diego. He has an opportunity for them, a simple job and its even in the Warrens. For alessandra, she is contacted through a third party. Diego having sent out a request for an extra body on this. The meeting is to be in the basement of the Rag Doll, a room Diego has used before. The security to the basement will let you through if you give the codeword Jack of Clubs.

Hunni has reconnected.
Alessandra has partially disconnected.
Mr.Terrific takes the usual precautionary surveillance, but comes in a little low key. Dressed down. Odd for him; it's a zip-up hoodie and jeans. Looks to be practicing his card manipulations - one handed cuts and so forth as he walks. "Queen of Diamonds, Queen of Diamons, Jack of Clubs," he says to the operator. And then, assuming he sees Diego, he takes a deep breath… and says, "Hi."

Hunni in turn goes the simple route, a secure long coat and leather pants routine that's fairly common in this city. She's not exactly unarmed, but who is in this place? Stepping in and making her way the door, giving the codeword quite smoothly and with no real disguise. After all if the uninvited turn up, they'd likely know soon enough.

The basement is usually used for playing high stakes poker, well, high stakes for middle class criminals, not Medievo level here. Diego is seated at the card table, a deck laid out before him and he appears to be playing solitare. Diego nods as you arrive, waiting for everyone to sit. His brow furrows slightly above his sunglasses at the final participant, but he makes no other expression to infer what that actually ment. "Good evening senor, senoritas. An associate of mine, a long term business partner has had one of his usual customers run off on him without paying. I need you to collect the fellow for him. His health is a minor concern to my associate, though he wishes the mans body not be too extensively damaged so he might recoup some of his loss in this matter. The target is currently hiding in east sunrise, he has some friends in the Diablos, but I have already made arrangements on that part. There will be no one with him tonight, and tonight only. We do not wish to harm the diablos in any permanent capacity. Go in, grab the fellow, and dump him with me in Royals turf. I will have transportation for him outside of the warrens. The reward for this task is fifteen each."

There was something monotonous about Alice's outfit, though she insistedthat she had multiples of the same pieces. Still, it was a little different today due to the addition of a slightly overstuffed leather briefcase in lieu of a violin case. She had arrived quite early because the city's bus lines ran at the convenience of people who were not Alice and the nearest stop was both distant and infrequently serviced. She arrived at the door, knocked on it, and waited.
She knocked again, five minutes later.
Ten minutes later, she matched the addresses - correctly, for once - and tried this new door, which was attended. "Jack of Clubs, mister."

Mr.Terrific looks over to Hunni, clearly the greater expert than he in this situation. He gives a look to the third person, new to him, or he might have seen her just in passing the once, and goes into a relaxed, evaluatory mode.
Hunni nods as the brief comes, her hands folded and resting in her lap as she takes it all in. "So this is a goal of extraction rather then wetwork…or is his body of more concern then his 'existance' per say?" The ease with which she discusses the concept of hauling a live person or a corpse over a border does suggest that yes…she's done this before. Alice Hunni had seen before but only once, down at the range.
To (Mr.Terrific, Frostlog), Diego pages: «<IC Text from Diego: This new girl, keep an eye on her and give me a report at the end. I'll give you a little extra for that. I've seen some odd things on her, so I'm not entirely sure I trust her.»>

Alice did her level best to look innocuous, sitting primly with her case on her lap, her hands folded on the case, and her eye staring somewhere just above Diego's left shoulder. She said nothing at all with the consummate skill of the Winged Victory.

Diego smiles a bit at Hunni, "His existance is of a concern only to theologists, not me or my associate."

Mr.Terrific says "What sort of skills does he possess, and by that I mean, what kind of cyber are you looking to recover? Do you have his general location, or is that our job?"
Hunni has partially disconnected.

Diego turns to regard Terrific. "He is fast, very very fast, but its not cutting edge tech, its a little older. Still of value though. In that part of town, your not going to find too many people hiding out with his particular enhancments. His spine of course, and his head, eyes, ears, and his hands. What I know is he has smartlink, eye mods, ear mods, and a single unit pricey speed enhancement. Please don't damage that if you can, a few bullets arent likely to do it, but setting him on fire or blowing him up might. He is in east sunrise, and he will not be around any diablos gangers. They wont give me his location, only that they will stay clear, that way they keep thier word in this. He was in desert wars 2070, but since then he has gone freelance."

"What does he look like?" Alice asked quietly.

Diego flips over a card lying on the table next to him, under it is a small photo taped to the backside. He lays the card out so you all can see it, and take it if you want. The man appears to be in his mid twenties, long black hair, brown eyes, and amerindian features. Another thing that stands out, natives arent really well liked in Aurora, but probably also why he is hiding with the azzie gangers.

Mr.Terrific takes a good look. "Name and aliases? And of course, do you have anything appropriate of his?"

Heart, Aorta, Throat, Femoral artery…Hunni's mentally checking off all the places she can damage for a confirmed kill without destroying any real damage to the systems mentioned. All that shows on her face is perhaps a little flicker of her counting. Hunni takes the photo, commiting it to memory the old fashioned way since she lacks the ware to do it otherwise.

Diego shakes his head to Terrific. "If I had a link, I'd have requested a somewhat different set of partners for you. His name is Greenoak, Jeff Greenoak. He has no known alias, he never quite made a real name for himself in the freelance field."

Alice took the photo, after most have had a look, "Does Mister Greekoak have any family?"

Diego arches a brow, looking to Alice. "Not in Denver no."

Mr.Terrific nods to this. "It's one place people commonly run."
Hunni herself remains quite, keeping a mental note as to send a message to a certain contact of hers.

Alice considered this, "Then, what about friends and associates of his still in Denver? Ones who are not yours, I mean."

Diego shake his head. "None that are willing to defend him, at least that I'm aware of. He was part of a small crew, one that was under the guidance of my associate. The crew is out of town, or they would handle this personally."

"So, they have his phone number." Alice did not put this as a question. "That would be important to have. Where does he usually frequent online?"

Diego frowns slightly….

Diego looks at Alice. "He is in hiding, his old crew, and his employeer want him dead."

Hunni now leans back in her chair, clearly she's believing she has enough to go on for now and the rest they could find themselves. "We can discover the little details."
Mr.Terrific takes a moment to get a pocsec picture of the man, and send it off to a decker friend of his with the notation: Jeff Greenoak, presumed location East Sunrise, any camera or credstick hits? Usual payment."

Diego says, "And he knows he is wanted dead.""

Diego look to Terrific. "I'll have credsticks available when you drop the body off with me in Heather Gardens. He hasn't left sunrise in three days, no credstick or camera hits. And as I said, he knows he is in danger, so he will be alert."

Alice shook her head, "Then we should call his old crew. They will know more about his habits. A man, even a terrified man, can find it hard to stay cooped up doing nothing." She pocketed the picture, "And someone will have seen or heard something."
Mr.Terrific nods to Alice. "I'm sure they could be paid for the information. Go for it." He's an encouraging fellow.

Working under the table the asian woman idly slips her phone from her pocket and starts messaging her contact for all things Sioux, perhaps he's heard of the name or at least the family.

Diego tilts his head to the side. "I'm sorry, perhaps its because we have never worked together before. I have already talked to his old crew, and have had contact with the Diablos, who he paid to hide him. They won't tell me where he is exactly, but they are willing to stay out of the way."

Diego says, "Just what habits are you curious about?"

Alice looked down towards her briefcase, "Even if he is hiding, a wanted man will often still check his mail, visiting his followed blogs, visiting the social sites for his past associates, family, and friends. He is hiding, but this is not something that can be waited out, so he is planning an escape of some kind. To do that, he needs to contact others, as well."

Diego nods "PErhaps, but, matrix access is not common in aurora, only a few places have it, and going there would expose him. He could be using a prepaid phone, but he has not checked his usuall accounts nor has he made any posts under his name or any name associated with his crew. I have a decker watching for hits." He looks at the group, "Unlike most Johnsons, I am also a freelancer myself, so before I pull together a team, I've already done most of the homework involved. Because if I could get him myself, I wouldnt be paying you all, but, what I can do myself, I earn my cut of the fee. Feel free to ask me whatever you can think of, and I'll let you know if I've covered it or not. Then again, your free not to trust me too, so there is that."

«Plot» Diego says, "Hunni: The name Greenoak is not familiar to your guy."
Hunni frowns at something under the table and slides her phone back into her pocket, chewing her lip before looking to Terrific and Alice, but focusing on the man himself. "You have roots in the area, correct? This may be something we have to find with good old fashioned boots on the ground."

"In that case, if the gang is staying away from him tonight, then we can look for where the gang is not. That will narrow down many places." Alice noted, now attempting search by exclusion.
Mr.Terrific ponders ponderables while he mentally contacts his ally spirit and has it come to him in the astral. He passes on this information to him, then says, "Well, I can't say I have anyone specific in that exact area. I'm in South Central and while I have 'deals' going with the two gang factions fighting there, we're not palsy-walsy or anything. I have some people I can call, but that's pretty marginal, and if I really want to get marginal, I can float through the entire damn area, and yes, look both for where Diablos are not, and for people with that kind of heavy cyber. If I get hits we can go look better."

"Can you make one of them forget?" Alice asked, finally looking towards someone other than Diego. Towards Mr. Terrific, specifically.
Mr.Terrific says "One of who forget?"

Diego raises a hand quickly.

Diego says, "Stop.""

Mr.Terrific holds his hands out, palms forwards, no action taken.

Alice plays an excellent game of Red Light, Green Light.
Hunni steeples her fingers, raising an eyebrow.

Diego smiles faintly. "I made a deal for 'myself', that I would not interfer with the diablos. That means 'I' will not be party to anything happening." He stands up, straightening a bit. "That said, I'm done for now. I will be at Heather Gardens, in a black bulldog van." he looks to Terrific "Send a small spirit to contact me and we can arrange the dropoff." He then moves off towards the stairs, heading up and out of the room.

"Good evening, mister." Alice's eye followed Diego out.

Alice stood, grasping her case with both hands and letting it hang in front of her, "So… umm… what am I going to do?"
Mr.Terrific answers Alice, "Yes, I can wipe an individual person's memories, with certain limitations as to quantity, to answer your question. So, let's start with this. We spot some Diablos who are hanging out on a streetcorner shooting the breeze and watching the shit as gangers tend to do. You walk by, I have my invisible spirit fly by, I'm long distance with binoculars, I do the quiet spell thing to make one of them drop the info in an attempt to impress his friends. either we get lucky or we don't."
Hunni looks to T, crossing her arms now that Diego has gone. "Alright, we'll try the hoodoo first. If that doesn't fly we can always go for more mundane options."
Mr.Terrific says "Commlinks up? You two are the spotters. My ally spirit will be invisibly flying above you. Point out a likely grouping of Diablos for me, okay?"

Alice walked up and set her case down, "Then, I won't need this. At least not for now. Do you want me to do anything to encourage those Diablos?"
Mr.Terrific says "If they're talking, that's enough, but if they aren't talking, I don't know. Give them a reason to talk."

Hunni does glance curiously at the case, looking it over like she might peer through it before she nods to T and slips the little earbud into her ear.

Hunni has arrived.

Mr.Terrific sneaks out of the Bare Knuckle gym, invisibly, with his magic snake. He waves to Sedimentary on the way out, receiving a slow, tectonic wave in return. And he heads to Diablo territory to link up properly, astrally perceiving for other astral perceivers… and looking for Diablos groups. But more waiting for his chicas on the ground to use their expertise in this manner.
Mr.Terrific does have to be careful that he doesn't think the thought 'his chicas' too loudly.

Alice had changed her jacket for a fashionable long coat, then buttoned up over her newly-donned vest and arm guards. She slotted in new chips for French, Or'zet, and Biotech, checked her firearms, and neatly stuffed them away. Finally, she stepped out of the ladie's room of a random little eat-in. She started… trawling.
It wasn't very good trawling, of course. There's only so much that someone can do on foot while looking politely lost, but at least she knew what she was looking for.

Similar attire, coat and vest, Hunni's own being just that little bit more custom-fitted to her. With the bag over her shoulder and her coat done up Hunni keeps her head down and just tries to remain inconspicuious as she passes by, waiting for the magically induced chattiness.

Sunrise, despite it's name, never had its moment in the sun, one way or the other. There's just never been much here. There were intentions, sure, back in the Early Twenties, back when the Treaty City was getting influxes of workers. A wide variety of new projects opened up, but went nowhere. With the degrading conditions of nearby districts, the Corps were hesitant to move valued employees in, and when The Matrix Crash happened, it was all conveniently forgotten. Written off as tax breaks.

There are warehouses that never got filled, manufacturing plants never opened, empty town houses, the burnt-out husks of factories that were never completed, leaving monolithic shells.

But there's a silver lining in this rain cloud of mediocrity. This neighborhood doesn't have much going on, and that means nothing's happening. It means nothing's blowing up, no major gangs are fighting an incursion in to the territory and it's just plain boring. And the people of Sunrise are pretty happy with that. On the downside, they don't have any major trade (and so no major backing), they don't have a lot of high value scavenging areas like the Warzone or Seven Hills, and their biggest gang was recently wiped out.

Compounding these issues, is that Sunrise is the poorest of the districts, even by warrens standards. They don't get much major gang traffic because there's nothing here to -steal-. Every once in a while, some of the gangs come by to test out some new tech or just blow drek up, but other than that… this is a place where not much happens.

Mr.Terrific is relying on the skills and senses of Hunni and Alice to find a decent group of gang members shooting the breeze. He can also see through the senses of his floating invisible ally spirit, so he has a chance to hear as well, and keep an eye on them in case anything stupid happens, as can happen with gang members.

Mr.Terrific is also maybe going to make something stupid happen, so.

After a little bit of wandering, you do spot a group of diablos hanging out in a half burnt down duplex. They are sitting in the garage, assorted worn furniture laid about for them to rest, and a large amount of alcohol being consumed by them all.

Hunni settles nearbly, ideally out of sight before she leans back against a wall and digs in her pocket like she were searching for something like gum or cigarettes. Hopefully if she gets seen, she'd likely be ignored.

Alice considered the matter at hand and turned around to find the nearest convenience store, as remarked on her internal map. Once there, she will attempt to buy two gallons of booze (picking bottles mostly at random, on account of not much knowing about the stuff).

As Hunni starts down the street, in view of the gangers, the leader stands up, looking at her. He grins and hits a few of his pals on the shoulders, and they all start to move out towards the girl. As they got near, the leader speaks, grinning. "Senoritaaaaaaa," he drawls out the last of the word. "Is no good for you here." He jerks a thumb behind him, further up the block, "Is dangerous ahead, why don't you come join us for a drink and stay safe? I don't want to see a pretty girl die for a bullet ment for a native."

Commlink-Senbon> Hunni half-murmers over the com. "That enough for your invisible friend?"
«Plot» Diego says, "The leader, and three of his buddies. Four more are still sitting in the garage about 60 yards from you."

Clearing her throat as if to disguise her murmer she goes into 'blank' expression that's usually reserved for her 'asian tourist' routine to get into buildings. "Dangerous?" she repeats with an accent that's a little stronger then usual. "I wouldn't want to get lost…why is up there so dangerous?" Of course she could mean 'more dangerous then here', but regardless of her answer she's concidering the means of how she might walk away when the rest get what they want and how long she might have to 'play nice'.

The leader laughs, "Ahh senorita, is nothing, there is going to be a really big party up there tonight, but not the fun kind of party. It is not going to be nice. Join us for a drink, we will keep you safe."

Pretty simple to look confused when you have little information, Hunni keeps up the round eyed look of slight worry and missunderstanding. "Up where?" she asks, trying to convey a serious amount of concern. "There is a street? A house? Don't want to stumble by on my way home…if I need to call for a ride…"

The lead ganger shakes his head, "Not a house, old warehouse on the corner of thirtieth and davidson." He grins, "Now, your going to come with us for a drink, come on." He reachs out to take your hand.

Hunni chews her lip, something that's actually more for character then truely thought indication. With the hand extended to her she hold up her own and goes digging into her pocket while taking a step back. "Sure.." she says with a slightly flushed (and truely faked) smile. "Just let me make a call? Someone might worry if I don't let them know i'll be home late. They'll want to know i'm safe" With that she makes to step away like she were just moving off to make a call to some loved one.

The leader grins, "Nah baby, we won't keep you that long." He turns to look at his companions and then nods his head at the girl. The three that are all mostly grinning, buzzed, and probably thinking very bad thoughts about Hunni start to move to surround her.

Alice rounded the corner, looking rather worried, followed by looking rather annoyed. She 'spotted' her quarry and started speed-marching down towards Hunni, gesticulating wildly, "/There/ you are! You… you… you…" Alice closed in, with hardly a thought to the gangers near Hunni, "CARELESS TWIT! You KNOW you've got to put ointment on that every day or it'll EAT THROUGH YOUR PANTIES! Come on! It's home!"

Hunni had been about to come out with an excuse about a worrying troll boyfriend who lives up around the corner, failing that she'd been thinking of her odds at beating up four gangers. Alice's interuption is a thing of beauty…were it not for the fact that even she needs to fight not to blink and say 'What?!' herself.
Neglect, for his part, struggles not to laugh out loud and/or drop various spells.

"HELLO? That giant yeast infection? You think boys are going look at you ever again with your nethers looking like a natto and grilled cheese sandwich?" Alice swapped instantly to Greek and back for, "Left testicle of Zeus!" She reached out to seize Hunni by the wrist, "And then afterwards I'll teach you not to chew everything that gets in your mouth. Your boyfriend'll forgive you, thankfully!"

The gangers step back, a bit surprised by the sudden appearance of Alice, then they look at each other for a moment. Then they wander off back to thier garage, instead of going after alice to check if she has a yeast infection, or pointing out anal sex or blowjobs are still valid….

Grabbed or not that crazy-lady yelling thing is as good as any distraction. Hunni starts moving, heading to walk around that corner and out the side, drawing Alice with her if possible so as to get them the hell out.
Neglect suggests to Mr. Terrific that he use something about dead fish smell as a trigger for the next Influence, but T nixes that idea, especially as hunni and Alice are making their escape.

Mr.Terrific , when they are safe away, comms them.

Hunni exhales as they get clear, relaxing just that little bit more. With the condition that they shouldn't hurt these guys she'd already been doing the maths of if she could hand-to-hand these guys. Odds were poor. Finally safe where she is the asian woman keys her mic.
Commlink-Senbon> Hunni says, "Go for it, but be careful. With what they said there could be some other hitters."

Once clear, Alice let go of Hunni and went back to standing by the wall, staring rather blankly towards the sprawl of the Warrens. It's almost like watching someone shut down.

Mr.Terrific will link up with the two of them in an appropriate alley where he can sit on something and be guarded, and then he'll go stealthily astrally scope the place.

On the astral the warehouse outside is dull, and there are no movements. Debris is everywhere, so its hard to make out if its just rocks on the ground, or a minefield. You can't tell on the astral one from the other really. Inside though, something is different. There are old trailers on the ground, the kind that move from train to truck and then get stored, shipping containers. There are two pairs of them, four total individual containers. Two of them are warded, but its not strong. You see no signs of life, but….there are holes in the sides of the container, rips and tears at intervals.

Mr.Terrific wows, warded trailers inside the warehouse. He transmits this information to Hunni and Alice through Neglect, who says, "The warehouse has four cargo containers in it that people are living in, they have shooting ports. Two are warded, two not, going into not now…" He goes into the non-warded ones slyly first.
Hunni does indeed make to stand guard next to Mr.T's meatsuit, giving Alice a sidelong glance while she keeps her hands relaxed at her sides for the classic quick draw. After all carrying out Terrific if things go bad would be tricky.

Neglect says, "No living auras in the non-warded crates, just boxes of stuff.. the place doesn't have a basement so there's no hidden basement exit.."
Mr.Terrific takes some time checking the entrances and exits for tricks and traps, explosive, stuff like that, as best one can tell from the astral.

Listening Hunni gives a quiet 'huh'. "So he's locked himself in a box…but what one is the question. Anyone got ultrasound or similar to peer through without guessing?"

The doors seem to be barracaded with junk, proped up pipes or things like that. IF there is a trap on them, you couldn't tell among the junk. But it looks like he locked himself in and is waiting for something.

Alice glanced down at her holster, "Peephole, perhaps?" After giving this thought, she went right back to scanning the approaches to the little nook that the group was in.
Neglect says, "He's getting ready to peek through the ward and then run like hell, hang on…"
Mr.Terrific indeed, gets ready to sneak a peek through the ward, bobbing quickly in and out at a corner, as stealthily as possible.
Hunni frowns and loosen's the strap on her bag. Assembling her rifle could take a moment after all. "Can I get in place to take him?"
Neglect says, "It would be good if you all were in place - let's do that."
Mr.Terrific holds off, because the ward-breaching is the time when he might get spotted and wake things up.
Neglect makes sure everyone has the map of the place and the units and the wards.
«Plot» Hunni would like to hurry her way to a place where she could shoot at him if he runs from the boxes. Elevated if possible, concealed and low if not. I have a knowskill to help pick a spot.

Neglect suggests, "I'm being told the roof has holes in it - is that good?"
Hunni nods. "It may have to do," she says before looking to the woman beside her. "So aside from listing off STD's, have you got a prefered method of attack?"

Alice reached under her coat and adjusted the sling on her SCK 100 for readiness, then checked the safety one more time to ensure that it was off. She unfolded the stock. Though there was a noticeable bulge in her coat now, she still stood with that statue-like air of calm. "No. Where will you have me?"

Neglect picks up Mr. T and staggers along with him to take him to the vicinity of the place. "I'm getting a basic plan, if you want? Basically, as long as our enemies stay inside the Warded containers, magic will suck against them. Mr. T has a really powerful elemental, though. He can have it punch big old holes in the containers to make it easy to spot them and shoot them. If he manages to sneak through the wards and spot them without getting spotted, he can give you a location and you can shoot blind through the roof to start the engagement. If he gets spotted, then he has his elemental punch at the warded containers to open them up."
«Plot» Diego says, "The warehouse is rather rundown, but its sturdy enough on the bottom to keep folks out, well, after you barricade the enterances. The roof is in somewhat bad shape, all the skylights that originaly were there to save money on lighting, are busted out, leaving great holes everywhere. The target is supposed to be in one of the shipping containers, but you have no way to pinpoint his location unless you get inside or very close. So to 'snipe' him would mean you have to be on the roof, or at least inside the warehouse itself, otherwise your shooting through two barriers."
«Plot» Hunni does have AP rounds, but blind fire could be a killer. If he gets outside however it's a good way to take him.

Giving a thought Hunni starts unzipping her bag, making to assemble her newest toy while the others talk. Looking right to the spirit she speaks up. "Can you drop me on the roof as quietly as possible or is there a ward there?" she asks before looking now to Alessandra. "Feel confident enough going in ground level?

Neglect says, "I only fly for me, I don't have a flying spell, unless you count changing you into a giant eagle, but you have to strip and bag up your stuff to do that and then fly up there and then get dressed again."
He thinks a little. "Hm! Maybe I can! I can give it a shot if you like?"

"Any time." Alice answered, still staring unblinkingly at the warehouse. She reached into her coat and brought out a red-taped magazine, gesturing it at Hunni with a questioning look. The bullets in it were tipped like EX-Explosive rounds were.

Hunni's own eyes look to the other woman and she gives a quiet 'huh' before clicking her own magazine into the ceramic rifle. No tape on her mags, she loaded them herself, she knows what's in them and she doesn't take the time to show them off. The unspoken question however does get an answer. "If you need to."
Neglect gingerly gets behind Hunni to hug her under the arms. "Ready?" Knowing that commlinks are engaged, he hugs with no inappropriate touching and then… I think I can I think I can I think I can! He rises up steadily in the shadowy alleyway for to carefully and slowly deposit Hunni on a load-bearing corner of roof fore silentness.
Neglect, invisible still, floats off the corner of the building, where he can see both Hunni and Alessandra. He allocates his Spell Defense to them just in case.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Have we all got our plan?"

Landing herself back down on the warehouse roof with narry a sound Hunni tucks her sniper rifle under one arm and smoothly draws a single pistol, just in case. Exhaling she makes her way towards the skylights she does her best to remain silent and unseen while they look for their target.
«Plot» Alessandra says, "Alice, on your signal, cuts herself a weak spot in the wall with bullets, then PAWNCHes through. Afterwards, she hoses down the containers or shoots the target if he runs."
Mr.Terrific waits for everyone to be in position. Then he has Neglect say over the commlink, "Okay, if I don't get spotted, I will 'materialize' over top of the container that has him in it, as a glowing shape, so you will know his location underneath where I am glowing. Here I go."

Alice had the advantage that remaining unseen was really easy when you're on the other side of sheet metal. The silent part was still important, of course. She picked a rusty-looking spot not terribly far from where they had gathered, flipped off her safety, and waited.
Mr.Terrific first finds a spot where, hidden from the two warded containers, he can call forth his high-pwoered earth elemental, Bloodstone, into the astral, just to await his commands without being seen. It will have to come into the real world to do the punching bit, but hey.
Mr.Terrific then picks the crate on the left, and sneaky-sneaky harmonizes the ward and peeks.

As your astral head moves through the ward you see….nothing. This crate is filled with what looks like bedding, multiple beds, but no one is in any of them. Cots really. Its empty

You pass through the ward and see a single living aura in the container. He is pacing back and forth, holding a large weapon of somesort, probably an assault rifle. He keeps looking out the ports, pausing every few steps, his aura definatly shows his nervousness.

Neglect says, "I'm supposed to say, 'The fragger won't sit down - he's pacing and looking out the ports. Mr. T is going to make his shiny a second before the guy comes to rest at the apex, so you can fire through the roof of the one on the right. Ready? Steady? Go."
Mr.Terrific , with that times it as the many is coming to rest, rising up out of the container and 'materializing' so he can be seen by mortal eyes.

Mr.Terrific , who is visible and audible as a glowy guy, orders Bloodstone, "Rip open this warded container in a continual manner so as to deny cover to the man within." He then floats towards the wall, kinda sort but not exactly towards where his body is.

The wounded man is not about to die in a shipping container. He sprints towards the doors, and kicks one open, but still remains inside the container, using its cover to his advantage, but wanting an escape since he knows the bullet came from above.

Alice squeezed down on the trigger and her SCK100 began coughing quietly into the wall. She angled the shots downwards, both to cut a hole at a convenient height as well as to keep the bullets from using random things as backstops.

Mr.Terrific floats out through the wall - ah, there's his invisible body. He moves to it to merge with it and 'wake up'. And wow, does everything slow down, with the bullets and the splashing of light.
Bloodstone finishes stumping along at ground level. Here, as he is now fully in the real world, he can see normally as well as in the astral. And while in the astral he just saw a shimmering wall, now he can see approximately where the fellow is.. and he can move to stand at a corner near him.

The man sprints from the container, well, sprints as well he can while bleeding alot. He raises his colt m22 and there is the loud thwump of a grenade from the underbarrel launcher. The roof explodes meters away from hunni, but the large hole is making the roof even more unstable, a few more shots, and even if they miss, the roof might collapse!!

Hunni watches the man pop out and the grenade whoosh by, missing her by miles. No electronic readouts send her target data, just a lens and her eyes. The man fires and runs, she takes a breath and moves the rifle for just the right lead. No headshots this time, quick and clean she squeezes the trigger and that perfect symphany of training and religious practice results in a single bullet punching through the chest of the target, ending him outright.

Bloodstone discovers that its victory conditions have been achieved. The pathetic human creature voluntarily left the container, so he doesn't have to rip open the container to expose him. He's been exposed.

Alice mightily punches her way through the side of the warehouse, stared at the sprawling corpse, and marched up to it in preparation to make sure that it was a corpse, "Umm… which bit wasn't supposed to be shot, again?"

Mr.Terrific flexes his mighty magely muscles to carry the man, sans his gear, which becomes invisible as it is under his control. Why is he doing it? Well, one, this is not beneath him, and two, this is when all that time in the freakin' gym pays off. The capability of doing simple things simply.

Mr.Terrific , for all his mightiness, will only be able to easily carry the man a certain distance. Then he'll start getting a little huffy. Silently, before the strain gets too bad, he mentally calls his invisible flying ally spirit to grip the legs and lift, taking off some of the load.
Mr.Terrific realizes he isn't stealthy. The others can probably hear him over the comm. But over the other noises of the Warrens, he hopes it will be enough to degrade harassment.

Alice folded her gun back down to smooth out the lines of her coat, or at least what she felt were the lines of her coat. Being invisible was weird and, if she couldn't hear the other one puffing along, she might have gotten lost altogether.

Diego is waiting in a black featureless Van. Its parked in Royals turf, and Diego is chatting with one of the Royals gangers, having apparently just provided him with beer and drugs. He senses the magic when you get within pistol range, and he turns quickly, pulling up an assault rifle and taking cover by the van.

Mr.Terrific coughs. "Delivery service," he gasps out in that aerobic-exercise kind of way.

Diego grunts faintly, still holding his alpha in his hand. "Back of the vans unlocked, and there is a small box with three sticks in it. Lay him down, take your pay. I need to get moving when your done."

You drop off the body, get your pay, and go on your merry way.
