Log: Knight Errant Cosplay
GM: Mr. Terrific
Players: Squeeze, Russik
Synopsis: The 'runners are hired to knock out two Knight Errant policemen of a certain size without damaging their uniforms. If they can get a Knight Errant vehicle, there is a bonus. The Johnson is Amanda Shodah, the Simsense producer who sent people to hire El Cocdrillo for her simsense pictures, and she uses simsense as a fake story for the runners. As reflected in the Corp rumors, the people who actually want the undamaged suits and vehicle are a high-end team who are going to effortlessly capture a Mitsuhama courier and take his valuable data and goods. The runners here are just fetching them their disguises.

Date: Sept. 17, 2071

The meet is at CHROME, on the good side of the Warrens Wall. All due precautions are taken, and the Johnson is a good-looking, well-dressed orkish woman. When all are within, she activates the electronic confounders on the room to prevent eavesdropping and introduces herself. "Hi! My name is Amanda, and I'm your Johnson for today. Here's the deal. I'm a simsense producer, and to make a simsense show, we need two Knight Errant costumes in the appropriate size. Knight Errant won't sell or rent us what we need, so I need you to knock out two of their officers, wearing the costume I'll show you, of the approximate body sizes that I will show you, so we can use their fully legit costumes. If you can get one of their authentic vehicles, I will pay a substantial bonus."
"Most critically, I'd like you to be sure not to damage the outfit. That means no stabs, no slashes, no punctures on the uniforms."

Russik gets the call from his GF and rolls off the bed. He wakes up the hooker next to him and tells her she has about 5 minutes to get her shit and get out. He pays her and then tales a shower and gets dressed, throwing on his "gang" armor jacket and forearm guards. He rides his chopper to Chrome parking lot, getting off and adjusting his Monosword, simply swinging by his side.
Russik listens and pretty much accepts the terms, the last deciding factor being the pay.

Amanda the Johnson says, "Ten thousand for the uniforms, for each of you, assuming they meet spec. Thirty thousand additional for each of you if you can jack their vehicle."

Squeeze nods her head along, "Sounds good to me." She comments, with a bit of a grin. "This should be fun!" She adds a moment later.

Russik agrees to the terms. All he needs is the size, of course and where to return them.

Amanda says, assuming that Russik finds these numbers to his liking, "Excellent!" She passes over a chip. "That has a pocsec app to estimate the body sizes of the Knight Errant people in question. Take a picture, and it'll tell you if it fits. We're going to need two human males, one five foot ten, one five foot eleven, moderate build. Shouldn't be too hard. It also has the contact information to set up the meet with me afterwards for the handoff. Finally, if you think you need some additional force, I have a number to call." He gives over a card with a big 'U' on it. "Razorboy name of 'Underdog.' I was told this was up his alley but he couldn't make it."

Squeeze shakes her head a bit, "Shouldn't have any trouble with this one. A razorboy would… complicate things." She tells the others, "I can be preeeetty sneaky." She says then.

Russik is good with the info at hand. By his usual experience next is a "planning" phase, although he doesn't have much planning. He wonders and calls a contact to maybe help him in some of these matters:
1. Does the contact have KE uniforms for sale?
2. Are they the right size, if he does?
3. Does the contact know a trick how to do this job?
4. And finally, does he have any advice?

Amanda departs the room to let you plan.

The two of you put together what both Oleg and Mad-Eyes know:
1. The Knight Errant armor you are looking for is 'Light Security Armor' and it has some add-ons in it.
2. Getting Light Security Armor is doable but getting Knight Errant Light Security Armor with their exact add-ons is somewhat difficult.
3. I don't know a trick but I'm betting that you guys are doing this for another fixer who got called and told, "I need Knight Errant armor for a job.
4. Advice: Don't kill cops, and look for location transponders. Knight Errant cars have cameras and location transponders so KE knows where their people are at all times.

Russik has used all his street resources by now. He will mention to his team mate couple things. One, we can go by Rus or Ruslan. Another one that he thinks the best shot for his skills is the melee and the uniforms. The car stuff is out of his range of expertise.

"I can take care of the vehicle." Squeeze informs Russik the, and adds, "But unless it's DNI, I will have trouble driving it." She points out her feet, as they dangle severl inches off the ground- and it's not even a particularly high chair. "My best bet at knockng one of them out would be to sneak up and zap him with my stungun. Maybe you can distract them, then I zap one of them."

GM Note: In order to avoid puncture the suit, the stungun should either be a contact-stungun; or you can make a called shot with a taser-pronged-puncturing stungun.
Further note: If you take out two human KE guys, their vehicle is unlikely to be dwarf-modified.
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Chances are good it would be rigger-capable."

Russik shrugs "Whatever way doesn't matter to me. Think of me more as muscle, point and I punch." he explains. His speech a mixture of Cityspeak and Or'Zet with a Slavic accent, not really English at all.

Squeeze frowns a bit, "I can hardly understand your english. Ty govoris' po-russki? (Do you speak Russian?)" she asks then. Her Polish accent rings through even in her Russian.

Russik can speak some Russian, at about 9th grade level, but with a vocab of a native with a couple of years of college. Anyways, to the topic of mission. The ork only has two "ideas", either call a KE patrol in some low neighborhood area (South UCAS) and do this till they get "lucky" or go roam the area… Otherwise, he is tapped out.

Squeeze ponders a bit, "My name is Squeeze. By the way." She adds, still speaking Russian, albeit slowly. "Well, I could probably sneak into their locker room. But I will guess, you don't really do sneaking." She comments. "Maybe we can find targets on a dating service? There are some specifically for uniformed folks." She comments then.

Waiting until the cover of darkness and the gentle glow of streetlights in the South UCAS where the coverage is comparatively low, the two of you lurk in a completely legal manner.

«Plot after the fact» The two discuss how to find appropriate KE policement. After discarding the idea of causing disturbances over and over until appropriate cops show, they decide to check out the local precinct house in a 'C' security zone. They look up the address on the 'trix and go.
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, " If you want money, rob a bank, it's where the money is. Jesus went down to talk to the whores and the criminals because, he said, "It's where the sinners are." So if you want to scope out police to see if they meet your specs, go to the precinct house. That's where they are."

Squeeze peers about, "This could take all night." She tells the other guy, "And I don't feel like taking all night." She adds, "We should visit the local precinct, look for likely targets." She comments. She opens up her pocsec to find the local precinct, and then will lead the way there unless Russik has any objections.

Russik will serve as a driver, if Squeeze wants to ride on the Scorpion. He can also get some food and coffee, as his surveillance skills are limited and he will "burn out" quicker than a pro.

Squeeze does indeed take the offer of a ride. She finds it very tempting to tase Russik in the neck as she rides bitch, given his mob connections, but then she'd crash too and she has further to fall to the tarmac.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "You make your way to the vicinity of the precinct house. It's an unobtrusive building with a fenced in parking lot with their squad cars, some other cars, plenty of cameras and security devices, maybe a blimpdrone overhead. In what manner do you surveil so as not to attract attention?"

As Squeeze approaches the building, the doors slide naturally open. The curved bars of a MAD scanner are right there, inside the doors, for her to walk through on her way in, and beyond that there is a receptionist's desk, a wall with the plaques of fallen officers, some signage on the wall for where to go for what, and a wall of temporary coin-op lockers.

«Plot» Russik will park a block down, some food stand or something or a parking lot to any establishment.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The computer has one point of suspicion on Russik."
Squeeze hops off the bike, and just heads right in. She looks around the place a bit, snapping a few photos with her eyecam as she does. Always handy for later usage. She heads up to the reception desk grumbling about it coming up to her nose, and then says, "Hey, a buddy of mine was picked up for an affray. I'm here to make bail?"

Russik stands by a block away, stuffing his face, as his supra gland burns through food and makes him hungry 2/3 of the day.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "What weapons do you have on you, Squeeze, and what are their concealability?"
«Plot» Squeeze says, "None, apart from my cyber taser. Conceal 12."
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 3 vs TN 12 for "MAD scanning for cyber taser":
3 3 5 = 0 Successes

The receptionist (male, jacked-in, and physically slight with a blond ponytail as a matter of fact, though he is also armed and armored) says, "Name of?" He does not seem to detect that you are taking eyecam pictures, because that is pretty damned impossible to detect.

Squeeze barely misses a beat, "Rodney Tavish." She says then. It's just a random name she made up off the top of her head. "I got a call said he was here?" She adds then. "Got his fool ass arrested at a stuffer shack just down the road." She adds then.

The ponytailed receptionist nods. "Standard spelling?" He spells it for you. "Does he have any aliases he goes under? Does he carry a standard SIN? Do you have his SIN number?" He sounds hopeful at this last, not like he expects you to memorize your pal's SIN numbers but god it would be so easy for him.

Russik is not armed by the way. He relies on his cyberarm and shock hand for now. And a half dozen of street soydogs.
«Plot After The Fact» Those might be considered chemical weapons.

Squeeze snorts a bit, "Well, he calls himself Hot Rod, but he's the only one." She says then. "Yeah that's the spelling. And no, I rarely even remember my own SIN number half the time." she laughs a little.

The receptionist hmms. "Did he call you or did we call you? Can I have the number you were called on? I don't have a record by those names.. Well, we have a list of people with that alias, but no one arrested tonight."

Squeeze frowns a bit, "His girlfriend called me." She says then, "She is out of town, but he called her I think. So she sent me. What am I, his mother?" She says then. "Maybe he gave a fake name?" She frowns, as if such a thing would trouble her.

The receptionist says, "Well, if you have a picture of him, I can run it against our pictures if he's been scanned in. An image search like that takes some time, however. I think you might want to call his girlfriend and check on the details, or wait until tomorrow when we know all the reports will be in." He speaks with the calm assurance of authority that being jacked into the main computer gives.

«Auto-Judge[]» Russik (#6502) rolls Intelligence:
1 2 3 4
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Meanwhile, Russik can see two uniformed officers, a dwarf and a troll, get into a vehicle and drive off."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "After them, an elf and a human who's five foot ten, but too fat."

Russik is still pretty distracted by food, his mission to watch KE come and go, especially the cars, is kinda of failing, kind of miserably. For simplicity purposes, let's call the ork worthless sack of shit at the moment. Smile.

Squeeze scratches behind her ear, "Why would I carry around pictures of him?" She asks then. "Can't someone take me to the drunk tank? I can identify him if I see him." She tells the receptionist. "His girlfriend is a real bitch, you know? She won't leave me be till I make his bail."

The receptionist says, "What I'm telling you is, he isn't here yet. And it's quite likely he wasn't taken here at all, if he's not scanned into the computer."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "At this point, if you would like to get him to go against procedures, you can make a negotiation test TN 8. (Will 4, +4 for going against procedures when he is checking on you.) He will oppose with Will, against your Intelligence."

Squeeze frowns, "No, no she definitely said this was the place." She says then. "If he gave a fake name, it wouldn't show on the system right?" she adds. "Listen, I know you are busy. But look at it this way, if I find him in the drunk tank, I can make his bail and it'll be one less drunk to babysit. If I don't find him, then I'll go on my way and be out of your hair. You can't really loose."
«Auto-Judge[]» Squeeze (#11593) rolls Negotiation vs TN 8:

The receptionist says, "Well, there would be a fake name in the system and you and I just aren't finding it, is the problem we're getting at ma'am. Tell you what. It's a secure area so we'll have to search you. I have a couple of guys about to go on shift and I think they can run you through for a few minutes." And with that, it is done - he indicates a place to sit and wait, he obviously sends a message down the wire, and in a few minutes a couple of KE guys come up, wearing their Light Security Armor with the radio mike on the collar (easy to see close up) and the badge-camera (you can see the lens from here, likely recording continually to a small chip but in low fidelity to save data) and their Ares Predators on their hip along with other cop gear. They're putting on their helmets now… hey… one of them is about five foot ten and the other is about five foot eleven.

"Wow, you boys expecting a busy night?" Squeeze asks them as she watches them suiting up. Meanwhile, she silently transmits to Russik with her onboard tactical comm unit- Transducers are fun.
Commlink-Squeeze> Squeeze says, "Found just the kind of boys I'm looking for. Maybe tonight will be fun after all."

"Same shit, different day," says the shorter one. The taller one gets out the wand and wands you down.

Commlink-Russik> Russik says, "Sounds good."

Squeeze assumes the position as she's wanded, as a dwarf living in the CAS, it's not like she doesn't get searched on a regular basis.

And they lead you down to the cells. Pretty damn small cells, and individual ones too, with little toilets and so on. Very individualized here in Knight Errant land, and actually in a strange shade of pink (that psychologically calms inmates down.) And there are several people chilling out and several people eating the little microwave-meals that KE gives their prisoners - maybe even bums who just get arrested to eat.

Squeeze chats idly, "I have an ex who was a police officer. Back in Poland." She tells them, "He used to hate the night shift. All sorts of low-lifes out at night. Especially with the troubles." She refers, of course, to the Russian occupation and civil unrest. "You guys do six-till-six? That's about four hours too many for my feet."

Five-foot-ten is the talkative one. "Nah, here in the states it's eight hour shifts. Some of the tech guys can have flex-hours." It is dark, and they are just beginning their shift at a wonderful eleven PM.
Alas, none of the inmates are Rodney, because there isn't a Rodney.

Squeeze ahs and nods her head, "That's not so bad, then." She says, peering into each cell as they head along. "So you out on patrol or staying in the precinct?" She asks. "At least here you get to watch the trideo, right?"

Russik is harassed by some local kids who take advantage of him being an ork and yell racial slurs at him from a "safe" distance. Pissing the ork and ork more to where his brain starts to wonder if he can chase one of them down, more and more, forgetting his work.

Five foot ten says, "Just helping you out before we get in the car and do our route." Five foot eleven says, "Yeah, gotta pop our boxes every corner. You'd think they'd just use the car transponder to track us, but some bright boys rigged up their transponders to show their locations where they wanted them and now we gotta hop out and pull a callbox, just like they frickin' did a hunnerd-and-fifty years ago. Until someone figures out how to fake our frickin' badges on the call-boxes."

"Ah, that sucks. There's always some who ruin it for the rest, yes?" She says then as they get to the last cell. She sighs, exasperated. "I don't see him. He was drunk, maybe he gave the girl the wrong address." She says then, sounding irritated.

They escort you back up to the lobby. "Well, pleasure to make your acquaintance, ma'am," says the nice one, five foot ten. "Hope you have better luck tomorrow," says the other one. Behind your back, when you assumedly leave, the receptionist and the two of them will likely cast aspersions against you behind your back for 'wasting their time.' Although the two are in no rush to be out on their call driving a few blocks, slotting their badge into a call box, and then driving on another few blocks to do it again.

Squeeze smiles to the two of them, "Well thanks anyway. I will buy you a coffee if I see you about?" She suggests then. "You probably need it on the night shift." she says, and then heads out. She heads away from the precinct, and takes out her cellphone. She calls up Mad-Eyes again, this time asking where the local call boxes are.

Russik continues to get harassed by kids until it's their time to go eat lunch. He waits for his partner and further instructions, hanging out and getting impatient, mostly because he has to go take a leak.

«Plot» Squeeze calls Mad-Eye for info on the KE callboxes.
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Mad-eye can't tell you where they all are, but he can tell you how to spot them. Once you know, it isn't that tough to figure out their locations on streetlights and power poles and stuff."

«Plot» Squeeze says, "Alrighty. In that case, I'll find a secluded alley somewhere to change my face and jacket."

Commlink-Squeeze> Squeeze says, "Alright, got a plan. We'll meet out friends at a callbox. I'll meet you at the bike."

Commlink-Russik> Russik says, "Roger."

Squeeze heads into an alleyway out of sight from the precinct, and then she undoes her braid and scruffs up her hair. Her coat changes color to a faded brown, and grows a few splotches and stains. She even sticks her hands into a trash can and wipes the nasty stuff on her trousers and the side of her face. Looks like she's going for the Hobo look.

Russik starts up the Harley and impatiently waits, considering what to do about his bladder situation.

Squeeze pulls the hood up on her jacket just before exiting the alleyway, she even takes on a new gait, hands stuffed into her pockets and face downturned. Just another drifter. She eventually meets back up with Russik. "Hey." She says, "Let's find one of these call boxes. Not too close to the station."

Russik gives a thumbs up. He pushes the bike forward and rives off, driving off of Squeeze's directions.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The gang scopes out, and finds an appropriate call box to set up for an ambush. You know they have to be coming this way, because there's a 24 hour donut shop about a half a block down and across the street."

Russik will get some doughnuts.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "There seems to be a dearth of generic cameras on this corner, because you plan it that way. The donut shop is run by a human ethnic minority, and there is a Chinese-american ork studying and drinking coffee, trying to better himself through the night. And donuts are surprisingly good."

Squeeze meawhile, finds herself a pile of trash to sit in, huddled up beneath her coat. She allows the coat's scanners to kick in slowly, the coloration warping to blend with the surroundings. It's not ideal, she's not nivisible like with higher rated ruth coatings. But she looks remarkably like a pile of trash.

«Plot» Neither of the two of you have Vision Mag, so you can't see the cops from 7+ blocks away and learn their callbox routine ahead of time. Perceptions TN 10 (vision mag would reduce it to TN 4) to give you the moderate info I would like to give you on their routine."

Russik parks the bike and uses his bathroom excuse to head inside. He emerges minutes later with a box of dozen doughnuts. However, the box only contains 9. As one is in his other hand and two are "missing"….

They come about two hours later, who knows the route. Maybe you switch out for pee breaks, maybe you don't, maybe you get more donuts, maybe you don't. But it happens that the two of you are both present for the arrival of the vehicle, spotting it when it is about a block and a half away. Lights are off except for the standard driving-at-night lights, all windows mirror-tinted of course. And they drive up to the power pole, and park against the curb. Is it the right car? Is it someone else entirely? No, it's mister five-foot-ten, the nice one, getting out to walk to the power pole.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "So here is the thing. If you had gotten the previous Perception roll, you would have seen them 7 blocks away, and known their routine - one gets out and he has to open the door to do so, and like any normal human he shuts the door after himself to walk three steps to the curb and interact with the device. Then he would turns around, open the door again, and slide in. Without having seen that, is it not kind of a guess as to where to get an angle into the vehicle, if you do in fact desire to get an angle into the vehicle?"

Commlink-Squeeze> Squeeze says, "When he goes to get back in, take him down. I'll get the one in the car."
Commlink-Squeeze> Squeeze says, "Stay behind him if you can. Badges have cameras."

Russik replies confirmation over the comms. His next thing is to somehow loiter inconspicuously. And how would he do that… With great great difficulty.

Squeeze hadn't dared move for the two hours any more than to shift her seating position every fifteen minutes or so so her legs don't go to sleep, lest she miss the cops' arrival. She does need to pee. Nervousness at what they're about to do doesn't help. When the car pulls up, she begins creeping along towards the car door. Hidden under the sleeve of her jacket, the realskinn on her palm peels back to reveal a pair of tiny darts.

So Mister Five-Ten is completely cognizant of Russik's loitering position, scanning him in that cop way to scope out his dangerous items and the likelihood of attack. He puts the power-pole mostly between him and Russik, he keeps his gun ready for the quickdraw. If you were watching it on film it would totally look like Russik was doing this intentionally to keep attention away from Squeeze, whom the audience can only see because the filmmakers are putting a light-fringe around her.

I don't wanna say that Russik can see that they see him. He is not a mind reader or has a spider sense. What he does know is that he is not that good, so with him being obvious and their occupation being what it is… Two and two together. He looks for a reason to be here, maybe he is a male hooker… well, next time he may wanna dress as one.

It was obvious from the way five-ten faced Russik the entire time that he was being watched. And that the badge-cam has him on film. But that doesn't keep Russik from getting at least a momentary jump on the five-ten cop, right when he opens the all-important car door.

Russik quickly rushes forward, a little bit of wire, a little bit of supra gland, a little bit of move by wire. He makes it there in time. I know, I know, most combat is an action of events, but since this one the start, it's a one punch attack, running speed, over the door, superman punch with a electrical fist backup. Face punch that his the chest instead.

He's hit hard, and that electrical jolt is pressed to him and held as well, giving him that lingering jolt. He drives through it to shout into his collar-mike, "Unnnnde' Ateck!" It comes out garbled through the shock. "Corn' of Shatuck!" He's trying to give the location even as he backs away and draws his weapon. Now, the smartest thing to do would likely be to dive in the door and shut it, but that assumes that Russik doesn't have an arm in the door which he likely has, given his positioning and effectiveness in whappage.
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Simple action draw, simple action fire."
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 6 vs TN 9 for "Pistols 4, base tn 4, smartlink -2, wound penalties +3, shock +2, in melee +2":
1 1 2 2 2 3 = 0 Successes

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Five-11"
And his shot goes wild. But Russik may not be so lucky with Mister Five Eleven. His smartest move would also be to just drive off, but that would leave his partner dead at the hands of an insane ork. So he gets out of the car and stands, and has to quickdraw to get a shot off at Russik over the top of the car.
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 8 vs TN 6 for "Pistols 4+CP:4, base tn 4, -2 smartlink, +4 cover from the car between them/the other cop.":
2 3 4 5 5 9 11 15 = 3 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Stand - base 9m +3 successes to Russik, and if you like, show your work on your current armor with the current armor rules as needed."
«Auto-Judge[]» Russik (#6502) rolls Combat Pool: 4 vs TN 4 for "No CP left.":
2 4 5 8 = 3 Successes
«Plot» Russik says, "Total armor scores. Jacket. 5/3. Forearm Gs. 0/1. Cyber armor. 1/2. Total armor score. 6/6. Quickness. 8."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, " Since you have removed 3 successes, you are soaking a base 9m with 6 ballistic, so it is body TN 3"
«Auto-Judge[]» Russik (#6502) rolls Body vs TN 3 for "Soaking M +1 success.":
1 1 2 2 2 2 2 2 4 5 5 11 = 4 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "That is fully soaked."
Russik is luckily out of the way when the cop draws and fires, the ork is glad he got off a punch, making him harder target to hit. As the other cop draws, the ork tries to drop to a knee and hide behind a car. But bullets are faster than wires, and it clips him in the shoulder, going through armor but only leaving a small bruise, absorbed by Kevlar and dermal padding.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Squeeze! We are working out your TN. Is your cyber-taser smartlinked?"
«Plot» Squeeze says, "Now you mention it, I actually don't think so. Crap. Another thing I forgot."
«Plot» Squeeze says, "I don't even know how you would SL a Cyberweapon. I do have a SL-2 Package, though."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "I'm actually not sure if they CAN be smartlinked. So in this case, your TN is 12 - however, you only need one success and he cannot dodge the dart.. It is base TN 4, +4 cover from the car, +4 for the called shot not to damage the armor."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "It's a difficult shot, upwards across a car getting him right under the chin. Maybe move around to the other side of the car, or behind the car so you can do that later."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "that whole 'don't damage the suit' thing is rough."
The darts fire out of Squeeze's palm, sailing through the car and lodging themselves in the seating where they discharge harmlessly. Another two fire out, bouncing off the window of the car and clattering to the ground. She mouths a silent curse and then the wires disengage themselves. She begins moving around the car, still mostly ruth-concealed. Maybe she can get the slip on him that way. Meanwhile….

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Second pass! Russik!~"
«Plot» Russik would like to attempt to finish off the injured fella.
«Auto-Judge[]» Russik (#6502) rolls Pentjak-Silat vs TN 4 for "Melee attack with shock hand. Base 11M stun and 7S shock":
1 1 3 4 5 5 = 3 Successes
«Plot» Russik stands.

2 3 3 4 = 0 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 4 vs TN 5 for "The shock":
3 4 4 11 = 1 Success
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "He takes S stun damage from the punch and S stun from the shock. He is clocked and burned and goes down and he'll likely need a week's rest - but he's nowhere near dead. You may pose, and include motion and position. I will assume cover from vehicle."
Russik is down behind the car, now he has to get back up and expose himself. He decides to do just so and finish the wounded officer of the law. He rises, driving his shoulder into the door, slamming the cop with the door, pinning him in and the punching right over the top of the door. It's a series of hammer fists, not very strong ones, but with strikes to the face, head and shoulders, the shock hand discharging electrical damage on impact. The ork eventually swings the door open, trying to grab the cop by his throat to steady him and then deliver a punch to the unprotected face or neck.
By the time he grabs the cop, that one is limp, so he lets him go, next thing looking up to see the bullet inside the barrel of his partner. Then a flash.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "five-eleven!"
Gunfight tactics say that Mister Five-eleven should stay right where he is, in the crook of the car door, blocked by the armored vehicle and the armored car door. And he has his gun in his hand and there's the ork putting down his partner, so any thought of driving away is totally out of the question. He's sure he hit the ork once, so now it's a matter of keeping the lead flowing.
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 6 vs TN 6 for "five-eleven, TN 4, -2 smartlink, +4 cover, last two dice of combat pool":

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "No damage, and second shot"
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 4 vs TN 6 for "last shot this round":
1 3 4 5 = 0 Successes
He's sure he's tagging the ork - well, that last shot went wide, spattering the faux-brick wall facade. But he's hollering like a devil into his collar mike. "Officer down! Officer down! Corner of Shattuck and University!"
Another bullet hits the Russian ork in the chest. Dead on. The armor jacket this time does minimal protection due to the angle. The dermal plates slow down the bullet and it finally breaks skin and stops hitting the titanium ribcage just 5mm above the heart.
It knocks the breath out of Russik and definitely sends a wakeup call to the brain. He knows he is hit, the processor scanning body for damage, but the brain begins to lean towards shock.
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "End of round!"

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Inits!"
«Auto-Judge[]» Squeeze (#11593) rolls Initiative with a result of 11.
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 2 for "five-eleven +6":
1 11

«Auto-Judge[]» Russik (#6502) rolls Initiative with a result of 20.
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Russik 20, five-eleven 13, Squeeze 11"
Russik goes ahead and closes the distance with officer number two, slowing down to make two turns around the back end of the car, with the cop in front of him, but also, the cops gun in front of him also. The damage processor comes up negative. Forward! And ready!
«Plot» Russik is delaying after motion.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Moving on to five-eleven!"
Why look, it's a giant ork fist coming his way. Center mass, center mass! He unloads everything he has. Why don't we have Thunderbolts firing burst fire? (Because if we did, you'd already be out of ammo, Mister Five-eleven.)
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 8 vs TN 4 for "With no cover and the ork moving into HTH, TN is 4, -2 smartlink, +2 melee First shot":

«Auto-Judge[]» Russik (#6502) rolls Body vs TN 3 for "Soaking S":
1 1 1 2 2 3 5 5 5 5 8 19 = 7 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "And soaked"
Russik takes two to the chest, one penetrates and draws blood, lodging in a rib cage, but passing past the titanium bone, the other stops in the bone mass.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Squeeze! You can be around the car, and shoot at the officer's back, base TN 4, +4 called shot so as not to puncture the suit. He has no combat pool nor karma left as Russik skillfuly drew it out of him."
«Plot» Squeeze says, "I'll spend an action aiming."
«Auto-Judge[]» Squeeze (#11593) rolls Pistols + Combat Pool: 5 vs TN 7 for "1 action aiming, called shot etc":
1 3 3 3 3 4 5 5 8 9 = 2 Successes
«Plot» Squeeze says, "10S"
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 4 vs TN 8 for "2 points electrical resist":
1 1 1 4 = 0 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "He takes S stun, plus shock for 3 passes."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "You may pose, and Russik will easily wipe him up with his delayed action while the electrical dart makes him dance."
The dwarf woman slots a new dart pack into the gaping hole in her palm where the weapon has extended, as she crewwps around the car, an unusual sight as the blurry blob of distorted light suddenly spawns a pair of hands. She lines up as shot- the gap between his suit and his helmet, where a little bit of skin is revealed. Two darts fire out, and lodge right into the back of his neck, delivering a shallow penetrating, high voltage, low current shock into his muscles. He grits his teeth so hard he threatens to bite them in half and convulses against his will as the veins on his neck bulge as every muscle in his body strains against one another.

Russik slows down as he watches the situation unfold. As the man convulses in front of him, the ork delivers a short "judo chop" as seen in bad spy movies, to the back of man's neck, knocking him out. Hopefully the cyberarm will not get damaged by electricity. He comms (as he probably can't see Squeeze) "Nice shot. I will get the clothes." and he begins doing just that. He is not interested in looting them, of getting credit or guns, just the stuff needed to complete the mission. If he needs to grab the tool belt, that fine, but he will discard the guns and the radios… and any electronic devices.

«Plot» Reponse:
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 3 vs TN 6 for "The donut guy and the donut student noticing 6 gunshots across the street and down the block, with accompanying flares of light.":
1 2 4 = 0 Successes
Eh. Truck backfiring.
«Plot» Security Grade C area would mean 3d6 minutes response time, but this is an 'Officer Down' situation.
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 1 for "+3 To respond to an Officer Down call in a Grade C zone":
7
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "You don't know it, but the cops will be here in like 7-10 minutes. Normally the response time would be 3d6 minutes ish."

Russik will check if the cops are somewhat alive. He is no good samaritan, but dead cops are way worse than assault on cops…

Squeeze does not pull back her hood. They may still be on CCTV. "We have to move quickly. I will disable the car's transponder while you do that."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The collar-radios are built in. And beginning to squawk. Do you rip them out, or do something else? The belts with standard cop gear are also connected, so it's easy to bring them along."

Russik will just turn off the devices. No reason to ruin the paycheck by ripping things with dexterity of a pig.

Commlink-Squeeze> Squeeze says, "Cover the badges, though. They are microcameras."
Commlink-Squeeze> Squeeze says, "Take them with us. Once you're driving the car, I will handle them properly."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "In general, the stripping (including boots and socks and leaving only underthings if that) takes about a minute per person, while the radios are calling, calling, click. One can only imagine the dispatcher calling out to them from the precinct, "Officer Jones! Report in!" The badges are still recording and don't have an off switch, but just fold something on top of them."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "To disable the transponder, I'm going to say one minute, TN 8, Electronics or Electronics B/R. You can make multiple attempts, and I'm assuming you are doing it the clumsy way as opposed to the perfect way. (You are removing the fuse/supporting electricity). If you have a special vehicle-based skill, that would help."

Squeeze climbs into the armored car then, and extends her hand out of the sleeve of her jacket. The skin on her forefinger folds back, and then the internal workings of the finger lock, while the tip splits into four different miniature tool heads. The screwdriver slots into place and she quickly works to remove the panel and get at the transponder wiring.
«Plot» Squeeze says, "I have microscopic vision which cuts the TN by 2"
«Auto-Judge[]» Squeeze (#11593) rolls Electronics + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 6 for "Using a Mini tool no tool mod, -2 microscopic vision, task pool 1/1":
1 3 3 3 4 4 4 = 0 Successes
«Plot» Squeeze says, "One minute wasted, trying again :p"

Russik gets the shirts off, then the pants. Reminds him of prison. He ties off the pant legs and dumps all the shit into pants, tightening the belt and making it a makeshift sort of bag. Once one is done, it's time to rinse and repeat the same actions with another officer.

«Auto-Judge[]» Squeeze (#11593) rolls Electronics + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 6 for "Using a Mini tool no tool mod, -2 microscopic vision, task pool 1/1, Take 2":
2 2 3 4 4 5 5 = 0 Successes
Squeeze discovers that the screws used in the paneling are double threaded security screws, "Frag." She mutters under her breath. She keeps on working at them, though, even if it means ruining the screwdriver tip.
«Auto-Judge[]» Squeeze (#11593) rolls Electronics + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 6 for "Using a Mini tool no tool mod, -2 microscopic vision, task pool 1/1, Take 3":
2 2 3 3 3 4 5 = 0 Successes
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "It does appear that they do not want their transponders fucked with. It must be deep-ass in there."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "By this point Russik has the cops stripped and all the gear tied up and in the vehicle. In what manner/where do you leave the bodies, Russik?"
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "We are at three minutes."
«Auto-Judge[]» Squeeze (#11593) rolls Electronics + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 6 for "Using a Mini tool no tool mod, -2 microscopic vision, task pool 1/1, Final Try":
1 1 1 2 5 7 10 = 2 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Squeeze (#11593) rolls Electronics Background vs TN 6 for "Comp Dice":
1 2 3 7 = 1 Success
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "And apparently it is at about three minutes twenty that the correct fusebox is actually found. And The dispatcher back at base will see the vehicle go off-grid. Gone daddy gone."

«Plot» Squeeze says, "Is the ignition still on?"
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "It is - you didn't critfail."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "However, the cop-cam on the inside and outside of the vehicle are still active and recording. But then, that may not be your most current worry. getting out before you get spotted is more likely."
Squeeze finally forces the panel open and once it is, it takes her about thirty seconds to locate the appropriate wires. The wirecutter tool slots intop place and she snips through the wire, disabling the vehicle's transponder. "Let's move!" She calls out to Russik. She's still ruthed, but since Russik isn't, she takes out her lipstick, and scribbles all over the lens of the cop cam camera. She can disable it properly ocne they're moving.

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "If you are the driver, you may now make a Stealth and a Complementary Driving check to 'drive casual'. Like a cop car. Because if the other cop cars see you and you are not speeding to the site of an 'officer down' they might, I don't know. Figure something out."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "I will mention that this cop-car is a 'Ford Bison' style - it's built on a truck frame, heavily armored, space in the back to load up bad guys. (and decently armored). As we have discussed, you will be driving by datajack in Captain's Chair Mode."

Russik will just leave the bodies by the pole, to be easily found by KE. He will ride his bike back, unless Squeeze objects, following out of site actually, just by radio street name directions.

«Auto-Judge[]» Squeeze (#11593) rolls Stealth:
1 1 2 3 4 9
«Auto-Judge[]» Squeeze (#11593) rolls 3 for "Reaction, Halfed, comp dice. Defaulting to Ability -4, Datajack +2 on open tests.":
1 1 3
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls 4 vs TN 9 for "The KE cops, spotting the vehicle that isn't on the transponders and wondering why it's going the way it's going considering the 'officer down' call, during the time for which they will be actively looking for such things. Since it took a bit more than 3 minutes out of 7-10, no bonuses or penalties apply to the roll.":
2 4 5 8 = 0 Successes

Over the next hour, you get the vehicle into another region and under cover where it cannot be seen - not to mention substantially far away from the scene of the crime. The cop-cams in the vehicle are covered over, as are the cop-cams in the badges - though you know they have your data on them. You know that they are not transmitting.
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "Again, if we were filming for a movie, there would be shots of other KE cars driving by yours, at a distance, totally stymied by their anti-mage reflectively tinted windows, completely unable to see the nervous dwarf inside standing on the driver's seat and driving by wire."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "I will need a computers check TN 6 to erase all camera data."
Squeeze decides it's best to remain mostly concealed, even within the car, so she keeps her ruth on as she fees the dataline from just below her hairline out of the hood and into the datajack port on the dash. When she can eventually stop, it's with shaky hands that she sets to work deleting the camera data.
«Auto-Judge[]» Squeeze (#11593) rolls Computers + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 6:
1 3 5 7 = 1 Success

Russik gets back to his bike and follows on, focusing on driving and not some strategy that is way out of his leagues. Simplicity is best for this ork.
«Plot» Russik will definetly contact Amanda.

Amanda answers her phone quickly. "How did it go? I'm at the office by the way, we have validated parking here at 222 Vermont if you need to come in."

Russik passes the message to Squeeze and revs the bike, trying to beat her to the location.

Squeeze looks around for a cloth or something in the van, and when she eventually finds it she wipes her lipstick thoroughly off the camera- It's unlikely a forensics team will get their hands on this car any time soon with where it's going, but you can never be too paranoid in this game. With that done, she heads towards the parking lot, wiping down the badges too as she goes. When she finally gets there, she spends several long moments calming herself down in the car while she wipes clean the paneling she opened up too. She looks about, pretty sure she hasn't left any hair or the like, but wishing her arm came with a Vacuum attachment all the same. And wondering how she managed not to wet herself while fleeing he police in a stolen police car, before she puts on her game face. She hops out of the car, grinning. "See? Piece of cake. Uniforms are in the car."

The address is a building on a side street off of Colorado street, in a little complex that also has a few dentist's offices, a Tarot - Palm Reading sign, and a sign labeled 'Enterprising Productions'. That's the enclosed parking area to which you are directed, and it's open and waiting, only to shut after you drive in. Funny, no cameras here in the basement parking. Amanda will be there, along with three burly white men in suits - one Russian, one Troll, one Elf.

Russik parks the bike and makes a short walk to join the party, feeling under armed and outgunned, big time. The sooner he is out of here, the better.

It is easy enough for Russik to arrive first, while Squeeze drives casual. He might even recognize the professional Russian - he's more on the 'professional' side of things than the 'mob' side of things. But Amanda has the social skills to keep things cool while the three men go over the uniforms, all the accoutrements, and the vehicle. They look appraising then lay out the uniforms and take a pocsec picture, receiving a beep-beep. Approved, apparently. "Excellent work," the Russian says, grudgingly, and hands the money to Amanda, who takes her cut and hands further on to you.
And if the Russian recognizes Squeeze, he doesn't mention it.

Squeeze's eyecam takes a slew of incriminating photos of the guys handling the uniforms. Just in case. As the money is handed over, she says, "A pleasure." She takes no pains to hide her Polish accent, not that she could anyway. And with no futher ado, she'll get the hell out of dodge. She didn't like the look of the clients, and she doesn't want to spend any more time around such hot stolen goods. It's their problem, now.

Russik takes the money, politely hangs out for no more than a minute and then exits, returning to his bike and driving to the Warrens. Time to lay low, for a while, but the money is enough to cover that time.
