Katral knows a good coffin motel for decking runs. Few questions, few lice, and lots of easy Matrix access. He spends some time locating the node he's supposed to hit, before ever so carefully unravelling their security, not even giving the ICE or deckers a hint he was there to begin with. He gathers the data he came for, and places some very convincing data of his own, helping the security system recognize the group's importance and how obvious it is they should have access to the facility. He disconnects without even causing the slightest ruckus , and makes his way back to the rest of the crew once his job is complete. "Piece of cake."
He brings with him his PDA, showing off the layout he copied from his deck. "And a nice bit of info to top it all off."

Elena suddenly gets very 'relaxed' on her chair. Her essence parting from her body and floating over to the area of the corporate area. She has a quick look over the facility, to return after a very short time. "Well… I cannot really make much of this from the astral. There is a relatively high Background count there that trails even along the land towards the south. But I cannot find a source… Especially in the south."

"I will scout out the south side. Background count usually means pollution, right? So maybe that will be what we're looking for." Double Tap suggests, and makes her way to the facility.

From down the road from the facility, Tap calls the other runners. "I'm not naturist, but these trees look kinda dead. I think I know where they're dumpng the stuff. Shall I see if I can get closer for a better look?"

"Not unless you've got a proper magic bead on the place. And I'm guessin' ya might get caught even if ya did." Katral responds, one of the first to do so.

"Magic bead? What is this?" The Israeli orc asks, not familiar with the term. "I will see how close I can get without breaking in."

Tap acks as she almost stumbles into the gully, and then she shakes her head a bit. She decides this is close enough for now, and starts making her way back to the road. She calls up the other runners again, "Yeah, definitely found the place. We might no need to get inside the facility."

"You sure? I mean, it could just be a portion of their facility, not the actual dumping spot. Ya see any security around where you are?"
Katral says all this into the cell, anxious at not being able to actually see the place.

"Well, there are a bunch of dead trees around this thing that looks like a drain. Unless you have a better idea of what a waste dump looks like, this seems to meet the description."

"If it's connected to the facility, we've hit jackpot early." Katral responds, thinking out loud. "Any way you can snag a few photos of that from where you are, or should we head on over?" Katral asks, once more over the phone.

"We need to get photos when the dumping is taking place." Tap responds. "We should all meet here just before the game."

In the meantime, the Sage goes to work acquiring the skills he needs for the position.

The first call goes to Damien, his fixer. Damien isn't someone who Sage has an antagonistic relationship, so the transaction should go easily. "Damien," the Sage says, when he gets in contact with the fixer, "Long time, neh? Listen, I need some skills. I think Ecology should do, Martens level 5. I need to be an expert in a hurry."

Damien answers the call, the as the request comes, "So you need a chip, yes? Well… Kina hard tog et gear in a hurry… as you well know. Ecology knowsoft, yes?"
But it only takes a little bit of a taling before the fixer says, "Hmmm…well, you might be in luck. I guess Speedy Joe will be comming from Seattle with just that kinda stuff tomorrow. I'll see what I can do for you."

Having gotten the acknowledgement from Damien that a skillsoft can be acquired within 24 hours, now begins the job of haggling. Damien's a skilled negotiator, but the Sage is one of the best. Drawing on his depth of knowledge of psychology, what follows is a case of wheedling, threats, insults, apologies and out-right screaming in some cases.

"Listen, Sage," comes the fixer. "I can get it for you, but it's going to cost. Rush job, special order… okay, you think you can do better, you try someone else! Let's see Mr. Wizard get it faster!" In the end, Sage has to agree to his fixer's demands. Rush jobs cost. "Twenty-four hours, it'll be in your drop box, usual place. Ten kay, three-one-three nuyen for the deal, natch." "Tell you what, Damien, Make it ten kay five, and have some hookers and blow on me." "Decent of you, man. Talk to you later."

Elena meanwhile just sits and watches as the team collects informations, "Well… there's a problem still. We need to make sure it's on the game day as we suspected."

Katral bites his lip as Elena mentions what they're all thinking. "Yeah… we can't spend hours upon hours trying to keep tabs on the place. We'd be spotted, or they might abort. Not that that's exactly a bad thing for our employer, but… we need that info from inside the facility, still. Unless ya got a better idea."
