«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) has the Attribute Intelligence with the value '6'.

<PLOT> Hack Pool 4, + 3 for math SPU, + 1, total 8.

«Plot» Turk says, "Reading total of 8 HP. 6 int + 6 MPCP, divided by 3 (4), + 3 for math SPU, +1 by Encephalon."

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Matrix Jackpoints + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 4 for "Finding relatively secure abandoned junction box for jackpoint":
3 4 5 9 = 3 Successes

«Plot» Turk says, "Got a jackpoint terminal in a sealed off part of the subways, behind a ticket cop's desk. Equipment's gone, but it's live."

«Plot» Grey Fang says, "Unacceptable, Grey Fang uses his bulldog as protection while in cyberspace."

A bulldog named Lola by it's owner prowls the Warrens for a few minutes as Grey Fang attempts to locate a suitable area. When the drone pilot on Lola signals it's arrived at location, Grey Fang does a sweep of the area through the sensors as he rigs into Lola.

«OOC» Grey Fang says, "My rolls were 2 4 4 5 5 5 for perception."

«Plot» Turk says, " With rolls as they stand, sensormod for Urban environment is +1. Three successes on TN 5."

Lola's data feeds back in to the rigged up Grey Fang as he sweeps for anything terribly dangerous; While the whole of Warrens is usually VERY dangerous (especially for fancy things), at the moment the sensor only comes back with the usual deitrius of abandoned vehicles and distant pings of movement. Slow movement, likely walking speed. Aimless and not in his direction. Of course, the range on a larger drone's sensors is quite impressive, so it would appear he's safe. For now.

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Disguise + Task Pool: 1:
1 2 2 2

«OOC» Turk says, "You appear to be - Grey Fang. :D"

Unable to get a working disguise that he could deem acceptable, Grey Fang had gone out by himself. Driving up to the junction box, Grey Fang sets the driver door right next to it and starts to setup a dataline tap.

«Plot» Turk says, "Standard electronics B/R, TN 4. Single success is all you need to crack the junction and install your datatap."

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Electronics B/R + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 4:
2 2 5 11 = 2 Successes

«Plot» Turk says, "Base time 60 seconds, 30 seconds after success. Easy pass. Pose it up and start hacking. Denver RTG."

«Plot» Turk says, "Excuse me, CAS RTG."

After opening the box and slicing the tap, Grey Fang sets Lola to keep a lookout for anyone coming within 10 feet and give an audible warning to stay away. Start shooting with gel rounds if they keep coming within 5 feet. Once done, Grey Fang puts a cable onto the tap, closes the driver door and pulls the cable through a specifically designed hole for it before plugging in his deck. Soon after, he plugs into the deck himself and shoots off into the virtual world. A grey furred wolf attempts to hop into the local RTG.

CAS Central (CE) Green 3/6/8/7/8/7

Grey Fang's world melts away, leaving his body in the trusting arms of a drone. Let us hope it's enough to protect the meat while the mind heads out to play. As the jack draws his consciousness into the local grid, past the decay and rot of the Warrens, he'll come to the initial log-in for the CAS RTG. A massive city spreads out below him, the iconography larger for megacorporations than it is for simple subscribers. But all of it, all of it is behind the thick glass box that has him entrapped, and a simple iconography keypad waiting for an MSP account to charge.

«Plot» Turk says, "Also, CAS RTG ratings are known attributes, as they are publically listed in the wiki. Anything from here on out is not going to be displayed unless an analyze host attempt is made."

«Plot» Turk says, "It will, however, be available on the log afterwards."

«Plot» Turk nods. Masking mode drags DF up to 9. How many HPs are you sacrificing to drive it up further? Bod is decreased to 1

«Plot» Turk says, "Excuse me, 2."

«Plot» Grey Fang says, "4 hacking pool. I'll be doing turnovers each round if I need to refresh pool."

«Plot» Turk nods. DF now at 9.

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Computers + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 2 for "Login to RTG":
1 3 4 4 4 9 9 = 6 Successes

«Auto-Judge[]» Turk (#9565) rolls 3 vs TN 9 for "SV vs. DF":
2 4 5 = 0 Successes

«OOC» Turk says, "Decking test, TN 5. Looking for green level hosts specifically. If you just want to find ANY host and let the dice gods decide, simple search."

«OOC» Turk says, "TN 4."

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Computers + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 4 for "Datasearch for green hosts for programming":
2 2 3 3 4 4 5 = 3 Successes

«Auto-Judge[]» Turk (#9565) rolls 2:
3 5

«Plot» Turk says, "Half time by GM call. Four hour search before Grey Fang finds something of the appropriate level, in the CAS RTG, that he can leech runtimes off of - if he gets in."

Four hours of dealing with the CAS RTG later, Grey Fang is more interested in jacking out than continuing, but continues on, padding alongside the other matrix 'animals' within the forest his iconography has imposed by this time. Most denizens of this vrtual world may not see him, but he makes them no mind as he starts to hop over a stream and over to a mountainside that represents a cluster of cave-hosts, and his red beams shoot out and start to scout out the region.

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Computers + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 2 for "Locating matrix address for rumored host.":
1 1 4 4 5 5 5 = 5 Successes

«Auto-Judge[]» Turk (#9565) rolls 3 vs TN 9 (to no one) for "SV vs. DF":
1 2 5 = 0 Successes

«Plot» Turk says, "Results of SV vs. DF noted in private roll, available on log afterwards. GM Pose incoming."

Eventually, the 'wolf's meetering laser gaze would pinpoint a particular 'cave'. Even as the imposed iconography he pushes fades behind him, a small island of 'wilderness' stretching around him before it bleeds into clean city streets and high rises. CAS RTG isn't 'imaginative' by any stretch of the word, and tend to go with functional rather than pretty. Still, Grey has found his hole.
Now to make it inside. The iconography overwrite falters as Grey approaches, showing a rather solid pair of metal gates beneath a stone arch. A school, it looks like. Two 'officers' wait outside,.

«Plot» Turk says, "Harder fight for a private school. TN 9 access."

«Plot» Turk says, "After deception R5."

«PLOT - player decides to forgo this one.»

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Computers + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 4 for "Locating a new green mainframe":
1 1 2 2 3 5 11 = 2 Successes

«Plot» Turk says, "Generating new SV and security sheathe. It will be available in the logs."

«Auto-Judge[]» Turk (#9565) rolls 1 (to no one) for "SV for average is 1d3 + 6, so divide results by 2.":

38 - Shutdown
44 - Blaster-10 Expert Defense
49 - Killer-8 Cascading
55 - Shutdown

Continues his quest for a mainframe to steal time on, shooting another set of red beams into the mountainside.

Once again, the grey wolf is cast into the streets, hunting. His profile for the server type is going to limit him, of course; Something private, but has a lot of profiles being created and deleted. something with a 'green' rated host that can provide a lot of free runtimes no one will miss. It's not an easy find, but scouting through his prior search lists brings him another potential.
A private host being used for Trideo game development. Lots of beta tests and admins going in and out, being fired and hired. But - once again - it's a matter of locating it, and then getting inside.

«Plot» Turk says, "Locate host, TN 2 on the RTG w/ Browse 6. TN 9 to access host again. Green-Average."

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Computers + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 2 for "Locating new host":
2 2 3 4 14 15 16 = 7 Successes

«Auto-Judge[]» Turk (#9565) rolls 3 vs TN 9 (to no one) for "SV vs. DF":

54 - Active Alert

Having found a new host, Grey Fang memorizes the address before gracefully logging off the grid and back into meatspace, doing a check on the surrounds.

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Computers + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 2 for "Logging off":
1 1 1 2 4 5 5 = 4 Successes

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Intelligence:
1 2 4 5 10 10

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls 4:
1 2 3 3

«Auto-Judge[]» Turk (#9565) rolls 3 vs TN 9 (to no one) for "SV vs. DF":
1 3 4 = 0 Successes

Grey Fang locates the new host; A large, black warehouse with a scanning camera above it. The iconography leanding itself to being as nonchalant as possible, to prevent curious people from trying to look inside what is potentially a development house.
And then Fang pulls himself out of the 'Trix, sliding back into his meat body. His muscles are sore and his back kriked from the long time out in the grid, but he seems to have been uninterrupted. A few empty cans of cheap drink outside the Bull shows how effective a warning voice can be.

Taking a moment to get his bearings again and stretch, Grey Fang gets a snack for a few minutes from the storage lockers in back before he repositions the drivers seat for more comfort and plugs back in. jumping back into the RTG, he makes a line straight to the new host access node and does a sweep for deckers, security or otherwise.

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Computers + Task Pool: 1 vs TN 7 for "Locating deckers around the access node.":
2 2 3 4 4 4 5 = 0 Successes

«Auto-Judge[]» Turk (#9565) rolls 3 vs TN 9 (to no one) for "SV vs. DF":
3 10 15 = 2 Successes

«Plot» Turk says, "You can locate no trace of deckers around the portal. Dare you enter my magical realm?"

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Computers + Task Pool: 1 + Hacking Pool: 4 vs TN 9 for "Login to LTG attempt":
1 2 2 3 4 4 5 5 7 11 20 = 2 Successes

«Auto-Judge[]» Turk (#9565) rolls 7 vs TN 9 (to no one) for "SV vs. DF":
1 2 2 2 4 4 8 = 0 Successes

Grey Fang finds nothing in terms of nearby Deckers; The traffic in this area is just too intense to keep track of anything hiding in the streams that write beneatht he iconography. But, at the same time, that seems to help him as well; There's a momentary pause as the automation tries to lock down his shifting work, before he's through a crack;
Iconograpy changes. Now it appears to be a massive tetracube, folding in over and over on itself, with icons flitting about from one level to another. Flickers of iconography pop into existence here and there as bits of some game or other are drawn up, tested, and shunted back for more development.
He's in.

Watching the various personas flit about, Grey Fang can only grin, wolf fangs barred, as the wage slaves go about their work without noticing him. His sleaze and masking hardware does it's work as he waits a few seconds for his faculties to come back to him. Soon enough, he's scanning the hosts icongraphy, admiring the work for a moment before red beams attack the ceiling of the cube, attempting to force a new account for use on the host as the beams attempt to make a hole and impregnate the datastream with his own code.

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Computers + Task Pool: 1 + Hacking Pool: 4 vs TN 6 for "Validating normal host account.":
1 1 1 2 2 2 2 3 5 7 16 = 2 Successes

«Auto-Judge[]» Turk (#9565) rolls 8 vs TN 9 for "SV vs. DF":
1 2 3 3 5 5 11 14 = 2 Successes

The code initially begins to yield to Grey Fang's probing lasers - and, for just a moment, he can see a new blank icon forming to represent the account he's forging out of bits and pieces of credentials in the underlying code.
And then the puppet is suddenly ripped apart with a 'Access Denied' error.
Try again?

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls Computers + Task Pool: 1 + Hacking Pool: 4 vs TN 6 for "Validating normal host account.":
2 2 3 3 3 4 4 4 5 5 10 = 1 Success

«Auto-Judge[]» Turk (#9565) rolls 8 vs TN 9 (to no one) for "SV vs. DF":
1 3 3 4 4 5 5 10 = 1 Success

«Auto-Judge[]» Grey Fang (#7612) rolls 9 vs TN 6 for "Rerolling failures on Validating attempt":
1 1 2 2 2 3 4 5 8 = 1 Success

«Auto-Judge[]» Turk (#9565) rolls 1:
7

«Plot» Turk says, "Account will remain open for 7 days until the next security sweep. YOu have login and file privledges. Pose up the success."

«Plot» Turk says, "For the log, privledges for normal user are: Analyze icon, control slave, decrypt file, download data, edit file, edit slave, graceful logoff, locate access node, locate decker, locate file, locate frame, locate slave, locate tortoise user, logon to host, logon to LTG, logon to RTG, make commcall, monitor slave, send data, swap memory and upload data. All that he needs for server runtimes for programming."

After a few seconds as the ceiling breaks apart and the new icon enters the datastreams of the host, the red beams subside as Grey Fang bars his fangs in a grin and watches the flash as the hole plugs itself, as if nothing ever happened. He takes a look around, and being a gamer himself, is interested in seeing some of the new toys being coded for a moment. Then he remembers why he's in here and Grey Fang walks back the way he came in, red beams shooting into the wall and forming a passage out of the host.

«Plot» Turk says, "No need to roll. As a User, you have logoff privledge."

«Plot» Turk says, "It's an auto-success."

SOMETHING had begun forming behind the wolf - but, at the last second, it freezes and dissipates as the system recognizes a standard user. Must've been a glitch. The system offers no resistance to Grey Fang's logoff, as a privledge offered to all standard clients.

Either he never sees the icon, or simply doesn't care. Either way, he hops out of the local host and back into the RTG, before logging off the RTG and back into meatspace. Feeling a few kinks in his back even after the few seconds he was gone this time, he stretch again before checking the area once more before grabbing his dataline tap and heading back out into Denver.
