GM: Diego
Players: Bigman, Mr. Terrific, Wanderer.
Synopsis: Sniping a mage is easy with a Barret.
Date: October 2nd, 2073
«Plot» Diego says, "I don't ask consent before the plot. What I do is ask you during the plot, which usually means your doing something very risky and/or stupid and you could die from it. Best at that point to think hard about your choices and if you really want to continue. If everyones ready, please try to keep chatter to plot room channel 2, pr2."
Each of you gets a call from Diego, he has a job and he would like your assistance with it. He asks you to meet him at the basement of the Ragdoll in the CAS sector at 6am.
Wanderer gets back to Denver after a long wander through the hinterlands and unspecified business out there, finding his messages plugged with out of date information and fixers prodding at him. Until he comes down to one from Diego. He smirks and responds that he'll be there and shows up about an hour early to lounge at the bar.
Mr.Terrific is feeling a little more paranoiac than usual, and leaves the crew at the Bare Knuckle on orange alert because of the recent goings on. He spells up with increased reflexes and so forth, and even circled the Ragdoll looking for sniper type actions before he makes he way in in his somewhat cowbow influenced duds.
Sitting at his desk, Bigman gets the message. The Ragdoll isn't a bar he is too familiar with, but he follows the instructions. 5:50Am, Biggie arrives at the location. He parks his bike a few blocks away, and walks the rest of the way in. His he watches the area as he walks, both in this world and the mirrored world.
The basement of the ragdoll is mostly used for illegal poker games, which Diego has a habit of attending, and now and then losing a bit of money. This morning he has it rented as his meeting spot, and as you arrive you see him seated at a poker table, a briefcase humming with the sound of a WNG, and a Jammer. "Good morning senors, please, join me, I have a proposition in mind for you all."
Mr.Terrific smiles genially while taking a look around for invisible things and magical what-have yous; then turns a chair around to sit down upon it. He's tempted to introduce himself, but no, everyone knows him here. Does he want to go where everybody knows his name? Suppose he does. His presence and his motions indicate his mood better than his usually loquacious lips.
Diego has not learned Masking yet, so he kinda glows with his magical ways, a focus on his finger, and a few tattoos on his back.
Wanderer follows Mr.T down once he spots the somewhat nervy looking caster. He makes eye contact before approaching too close to the other professional in this question. He looks briefly distracted by something on his pocsec but finishes that and focuses on the gentleman in question.
Bigman makes his way down to the basement. He chuckles at Diego's comment and moves further in. He keeps his lips silent. He trust Diego, no reason not to yet…He sits down when he gets to the table and leans back in his chair.
Wanderer trusts his dealer and, in time, business partner.
Wanderer is addicted to that sweet sweet APDS
Diego looks over the three here, then after a long moment of studying, he speaks. "I've found it best to get certain things delt with up front. Some of you I know better than others, and sometimes people can suprise you even after you think you have them figured out. I need a man killed, he isn't exactly a bad man, he is a crimanal, a runner even, but he sits a bit on the neutral end of the whole good and evil dichomity. So, before we go any further, would you be willing to kill a mage who doesn't save babies, but he doesn't eat them either."
Wanderer blinks, somewhat surprised at this and looks thoughtful. "Diego, I'm going to assume by the general cageyness here that you've no intention on telling us why he's going to die?"
Diego smiles "I'll tell you, he betrayed an associate of mine for a higher payout. My associate would like it known that this is unacceptable."
Wanderer shrugs, "Then I have no qualms about killing him. A contract is a contract, and dishonesty merits a response."
Mr.Terrific considers this. It raises that eternal question like in the short story, 'The Button.' He himself is a mage who doesn't eat babies, and so if this is just 'money and someone decided he dies' then that could be done to him as well. That's bad precedent. But additional information helps sway him. Betrayal in the middle of a run? VERY bad form. "A little more story, if you can? Was it the classic 'take out your own team and collect all the money' or some sort of 'optional bonus payout if we do "x" that no one else wants to do' idea?"
Bigman thinks to himself and then turns to Diego after Mr. T speaks up, nodding in agreement with his comment of more of the story. "Killing him isn't an issue for me….I too would like to know more of the x's and y's to this. " he sits up a bit more straight.
Diego shakes his head, "My associate made an offer for an item, the team agreed and retrieved the item. Once they got the item they decided they could sell it for more themselves, instead of honoring the original deal. My associated at first thought this was a bargianing move, but all his offers to negotiate have been rebuffed."
Wanderer smirks, "Then they have earned it."
Mr.Terrific says "That's quite bad unless the item was not as advertised and was some sort of WMD. In any case, 'renegotiation' after a deal has been made is why they call it 'reneging' on a deal. I'm in, keep goign."
Bigman chuckles and turns to Wanderer as he speaks, then back to Diego. "I only ask because of our work together, but with how connected you are, I would like to know if this would be a conflict of interest in any of my other associates."
Diego shakes his head to Bigman. "No, this is a corporate affair, though I am not aware of who has placed bids for the item. As for the item itself, let me just say its a key, and that it does not open a case of WMDs." he grins at Terrific.
Mr.Terrific inclines his head.
Bigman raises a brow "A key…like a real key? Made of metal with notches and all that?" he hmms "I didn't think people used keys any more…So this job is not to retrieve the key, it is to kill the person who stole it originally. If the key is already sold or missing, then it's not on us?"
Wanderer shrugs, "It comes down to this, if you are lied to you can renegotiate with the Johnson, even pointedly, but if you decide to play dickbag when you think you have leverage, you're earning a sucking head wound."
Diego shakes his head, "Its not a literal key, but it does gain access to something. No, the target does not have the key, he has merly moved into the open and my asscoiate would like to use him as….well, perhaps an incentive for the rest of the group to honor thier original deal. He has offered sixty for this, that would be among the three of you."
Diego smirks "I'm sure your all aware of how team morale goes down when the mage gets geeked."
Mr.Terrific says "Is he liable to have a lot of help? And of course, hermetic or shamanic? Are they all holed up together?"
Diego looks to Terrific. "Hermetic, with elementals of course. He is not holed up with the team, he has taken a seperate refuge that my associate was able to track down. To my knowledge, he lost half his elementals in the job, and from our best guest he is busy doing the work of getting more of them, hence, why he seperated from the group."
Mr.Terrific nods. "Time is of the essence, then. I'm pretty well stocked with elementals and I have some spells that are good for putting them down. But of course, get eyes on the prize and a mage goes down pretty quick. Also, might be some worthwhile loot that I could move; depends on what he has on him. I can provide some spell defense too but I don't have the spell immunity power yet."
Bigman nods "Alright…I think I've asked my questions. We've got a location, do we got a face?"
Diego shakes his head. "Not necessary, I've done most of that work myself. Now that you all seem to agree, here are the finer details." He pulls out a pocsec, sliding it over the table. On it there is an address with GPS coordinates, its on a mountain just outside Colorado Springs. A photo from the air shows a cabin, and some large circles outside the cabin further back from the road. "As you can see, he should be in one of those circles doing his work, I have no idea what security he has magic wise, I didn't want to get too close to alert him."
Bigman pulls out his pocsec, and then holds it towards the one on the table "I'll take a copy of this if you don't mind…"
Mr.Terrific nods. "It's smarter to get eyes on with magnification. I won't be able to magic him if he's in a circle, but you can shoot him just fine. I do have levitation, so we might be able to climb to somewhere where it would ordinarily be impossible to do so. I'm surprised that he doesn't keeps his circles in his house, though. Wanderer? You're good with maps, could you give us a place where you could look safely from a long way away?
Mr.Terrific looks to Bigman, "And what is it you DO actually?" Mr. Terrific has broken into a smile when he says this. You'd think he already knows, given time, but he's.. just never seen the big man like, shoot anyone or anything!
Bigman shrugs "Specifics will fill themselves in" he answers Wanderers questions, without actually looking to him, just watching over the pocsec. "I say the first part is we get surveillance on him…Get to location and watch. We may be able to get more details."
Diego nods to the group. "Well, I think you can handle things, I'd normally offer a bit of assistance, but I need to be seen in a few other places while this is going on."
Mr.Terrific says, "All right, good deal." He takes out two small wooden rings that Diego's magical sense can tell him are imbued. "These are foci for 'Spiritblast.' Basically, it's a spiritual hand grenade that you detonate dead center. If you find yourself surrounded by enemy spirits, it might give you a fighting chance.
«Auto-Judge[]» Wanderer (#10733) rolls Cartography for "Using available maps, both hiking and GPS of the area, see if there's a reasonable vantage to play god.":

«Plot» Bigman says, "For now, I will stick with the group."
«Game» Backup to offline storage commencing. Game may freeze for a bit…
«Plot» Diego says, "You find a place with a good vantage for sniping and cover. It will require parking three miles away at a rest stop, and going on foot up the side of a mountain and then around to the viewpoint. Flying would be much faster."
«Plot» Diego says, "Yes, movement power would work great."
«Plot» Bigman says, "Sounds fine, but I wanna do more recon before the shot is taken. Know a little bit more about what is down there."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "What kind of recon would you like?"
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "The more time passes, the more elementals he gets."
«Plot» Bigman says, "We should find a place to hide if the shot goes bad, and find out what would be coming for us if we have to run."
«Plot» Wanderer gives Bigman a sidelong glance at the comment of shot going bad.
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "We can check the map, but we'd be backing out the way we came. Might be good to have a different rest stop to go to. Do you have a vehicle, Bigman? Wanderer and I will be in my Land Rover."
Mr.Terrific will be driving his Land Rover, and will park in the planned upon rest stop, driving with Wanderer and using his concealed compartment for items that should be hidden. He'll be dressed for the hike, with a daypack and so forth, naturally appropriate equipment. When we are sufficiently not under view from passing cars and the like, Mr. Terrific will call up Keystone, a F5 earth elemental, and have him place the 'Movement' power upon all three of us.
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) uses 3 of item 5: Keystone (F5 Earth elemental) from Elementals (#7668).
Bigman arrives at the rest stop on his Suzuki Aurora. Parking it carefully in a nonchalant area of the rest stop. He brings with him a backpack, carefully stuffing it with his gear and items he may need. He's prepared, as much as he could be at least. He looks for the rest of his group and meets up with them.
«Plot» Diego says, "PLEASE NOTE STAFF: Refund 2 uses of Keystone F5. Only one use is needed if the commandment directs at a group."
The weather is partly cloudy, just after noon now. Temp is 61 degrees, so its nice and cool, great for a walk. The mountainside is well forested, magic years ago being used to keep forest fires in check more than in the past.
Mr.Terrific gives Bigman 'the eye' to see if he's got a rifle of some sort (hunting, sniper, or assault) in his goods.
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls Intelligence for "To defeat concealment! And for comedy!":

Wanderer travels with his excursion pack, his normal survivalist gear as well as his sniper gear. Once we arrive he dials on his ruth suit and gets his bearings with his internal GPS and mapping system. He loads up the local maps into his orientation system.
Wanderer puts on his rapelling gloves and slings his rope diagonally across his chest then puts together his barrett and puts ammunition in various pockets.
A simple backpack is slung over Bigmans shoulder. His pants show perhaps a pocsec or other piece of electronic gear.
Wanderer taps his mic.
Commlink-Loxley> Wanderer says, "We reading this?"
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "I'm on. You guys need spell defense?"
Bigman chuckles and slips his bag off his shoulder. Unzipping the bag he pulls out a personal taccom unit, and slids it over his ear.
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "I'm here"
Commlink-Loxley> Wanderer says, "I hope we don't need spell defense, I hope this is a pop, drop, and go."
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "I think I should be okay with spell defense. Thanks though."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific , when he can see them, has 5 dice of spell defense for Wanderer, and 2 dice of spell defense for Bigman, unless he turns them down, in which case it is 5 for Wanderer and 2 for Mr. Terrific.
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "Let us get to this point, see what we can find. Perhaps I'll see about some recon once we get a broader view."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "I believe we sneak and observe our way to the observation point!"
«Plot» Diego says, "Roll Stealth"

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "We like, look at the guys house, and the surrounding area, and surveil. I use Astral perception. I have optical binoculars."
Wanderer stares at the strange devices in Mr.T's hands for a moment until he remembers what plebes use.
Commlink-Loxley> Wanderer says, "You got a flintlock to go with those antiques?"
To (Bigman, Frostlog), Diego pages: Your talismonger has not heard of this guy.
Bigman reaches into his bag, once again. He pulls out a pair of sunglasses, and slips them on. He brings up the HUD on the electronics that are wired into the sunglasses, making sure that they are working and won't fault on him.
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "Been working on enchanting one, actually."

You all finally get in view of the target, and with the vision magnification you see it. The image is a little hazy, perhaps representing the magical power in the air. There are four circles, and he is currently inside one with a bonfire roaring at the edge of it. He is sitting quietly, a datacable linked to a small pocsec, probably for his library.
Astral: For those watching the astral, there are four elementals circling the area, one of each type. There is also a magical barrier around him at least hume five or six, you can't really see through the barrier once you look into the astral, its opaque.
«Plot» Diego says, "Assenssing roll please"
«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls Aura Reading vs TN 4 for "assuming wilderness background of 0":

«Auto-Judge[]» Mr.Terrific (#7242) rolls Intelligence vs TN 4:

«Plot» Diego says, "Range: 700 meters"
«Plot» Diego says, "You are thinking the elementals must be hume 6."
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman thinks to himself, evaluating the situation. "Perhaps we should do the distraction first…then kill the guy."
«Plot» Bigman says, "Want to doing a Assenssing roll for the barriers and the man himself."
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "I have four elementals all about hume six, one each element. They are in the astral and they can be on us fast. He himself is inside the hermetic circle, so he will be immune to my casting spells. But he's not immune to bullets and if the job is to kill him, fast shots from here have the best chance - distractions give him time to prepare and get under cover, which I presume he doesn't have now."
«Game» Backup to offline storage commencing. Game may freeze for a bit…
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "Are we paranoid and looking to move in closer?"
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "To my vision, he doesn't look to be in the middle of a summoning. he's just sitting there."
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "Which is odd."
«Plot» Diego says, "No…"
«Plot» Diego says, "He is summoning"
«Plot» Diego says, "Thats why you cant see him astrally"
Commlink-Loxley> Wanderer says, "I can go either way. If you think the barrier's going to stop my shot say so, otherwise I have a mind to just end him here and now. Unless…. could it be an illusion? A fake?"
«Plot» Diego says, "When summoning the circle becomes an astral barrier equal to the force of the circle."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "That I knew, that's why I can't see him astrally or hit him with a spell astrally. :) I use my magic Background skill to make sure, with normal vision, that he's really summoning and it's not an illusion."
«Plot» Diego says, "Make a roll"

«Plot» Diego says, "Everyone has different styles, even hermetics. Him sitting there barely moving could be his way of summoning. Maybe he is chanting under his breath, hard to tell at this distance."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "But you're not supposed to be able to disguise what you are actually doing."
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "He's a little too quiet for my tastes. Barely moving, barely talking. I can do that for spellcasting, but when I do, my spells go way down in power. I was just looking with my eyes to be sure. You're right to be suspicious. I'm up for sneaking in closer and gettign better eyes on the scene."
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "I say do something a less suspicious. Send watchers in…they get destroyed, who cares…"
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "Again, that warns him, and he casts all his buff spells, calls for help, the whole deal."
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "Alright. Then you and I should get closer…we both can evaluate the magical situation a bit easier…"
Wanderer adjusts his ruth suit and nods, sliding down the hill and moving closer then, relaying back to the other two anything he spots along the way, keeping an eye out for another vantage along the way.
Commlink-Loxley> Wanderer says, "I'll scout down and around, and let you know what I see."
Mr.Terrific also sneaks, keeping Wanderer informed of invisible spirits.

Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "While we mess with one elemental each, the others will eat our face while we're helpless."

«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "I will take +1 init!"

«Plot» Bigman says, "+1 to init as well"
Wanderer takes the opportunity to try and get a bead on the target. (I'll take the +1 CP)
«Plot» Diego says, "You are now 400 meters away"
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "We've been spotted. Fire at will, take out elementals."
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "And use cover."
Wanderer hunkers down into a shooting position, taking aim and getting the barrett into position. IF the elementals aren't entering combat he's going to take the extra few seconds to aim carefully at the caster.
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "Get to a point where we can run if we have to…"
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "they aren't attacking…."
Mr.Terrific gets ready to call forth elementals, but doesn't yet; because they haven't attacked yet.
The elementals draw back around the the circle, and are joined by the other two. They are spread out enough that you cant hit them with a spell as a group, but they are now just protecting the circle and the summoner.
«Plot» Wanderer says, "Can I get taking aim for 2 simple actions?"
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "I can light a fire big enough to clear this whole area…wouldn't be much of a surprise, we can use bullets for anything flesh that runs."
«Plot» Diego says, "Yes"
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "and it would draw attention real fast…"
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "Let's be quiet for now."
Wanderer pulls the trigger and fires his barrett at the target.

«Plot» Diego says, "M damage, + D damage. 13 Boxes Damage. He is down and bleeding out."
Wanderer hears the alerts from his compatriots that the elementals are active and decides that he's had enough of elementals to last him a lifetime, in the past. He knows a few things are certain in his line of work and one of them is "geek the mage." He breathes out, steadies his breath, and squeezes off a round from his rifle. The shot rings clear and is as good a shot as he can ever hope to make, and he watches the distortions in the air screaming of powerful magic. Still the mage takes it in the chest and reels. Not satisfied and hearing cursing instead of the peaceful thump of a job well done, he squeezes off his second shot and makes good and damn sure.
«Auto-Judge[]» Diego (#2074) rolls 4 for "Each die is an elemental. Above 6 they go berserk.":
1 2 2 4
«Plot» Diego says, "All elementals return to thier home planes, free now."
Mr.Terrific releases the breath that he had been holding when none of the elementals make the transformation to free spirits and the usual angry destruction. Over the comm he says, "Looks good. Let's move in. Could still be someone in the house."
Its rather errie, the body of the mage is staggered by the first round, and then his chest is removed by the second. The elementals slowly vanish from this plane as the mage falls back to the ground, dead. There is a soft breeze, and the fire flickers for a moment, still burning, but now definatly less intense.
Mr.Terrific makes sure his mask covers his features and his gloves are on.
Commlink-Loxley> Wanderer says, "I'll stay here in case there is someone there, overwatch."
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "If you have break-and-enter skills we could check his house. If not, that pocsec, and the hermetic libraries it holds, are a good two bits on the open market and might tell us something."
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "And we can check him for foci when we get close."
Wanderer will actually approach up to the 300 meter mark and settle back into a firing position.
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "sounds good…lets move in."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific sneaks up thusly.
Bigman moves towards the cabin. Still cautious about being the general area, and wants this done. He hopes it was that easy, but nothing is ever as it seems.
The cabin is quiet, and shows no signs of any activity inside through the windows. The mage's body lays there, the pocsec sitting next to him still attached via a datacable, of course its now covered in blood.
Mr.Terrific steps physically into the circle so that he can assense the mage. It is possible for people to stabilize, gradually regain consciousness, and crawl to safety, as unlikely as it is. He has to see to check.
Wanderer makes sure to have recorded the shots with his camera eye for later. Perhaps a gift to the Johnson to educate people on the dangers of renegotiation.
The mage is indeed dead, no aura remains on him.
Mr.Terrific makes sure no cameras on the cabin, detaches pocsec with gloved hand, makes an escape.
Mr.Terrific bags it up.
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "No aura on him, so no foci."
The pocsec lights up as you touch it, an iconic face smiling on the screen. "You killed Gavin, that was not very nice."
«Plot» Diego says, "Perceptions"

«Auto-Judge[]» Bigman (#9958) rolls Intelligence:

To (Bigman, Frostlog), Diego pages: You see a small blinking light on the corner of the back door of the cabin.
«Game» Backup to offline storage commencing. Game may freeze for a bit…
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "Guys…I'm thinking we should back away…something blinking on the back of the cabin door…"
Commlink-Loxley> Wanderer says, "Oh, joy."
Mr.Terrific suddenly cares not for the pocsec. He knew there was a good chance he'd get seen on a camera, thus the mask. He can certainly move away at a speedy clip, the ground underneath him almost dragging him along.
Mr.Terrific has achieved his victory condition of making sure the fellow was down.
The pocsec hits the ground, the icon calling out. "Wait, wait, I wanted to talk!"
«Auto-Judge[]» Bigman (#9958) rolls Security Procedures (to Frostlog and Diego) for "What is this blinking light?":
1 3 5 5 9
To (Bigman, Frostlog), Diego pages: Could be a tripwire or an alarm. Hard to know exactly right now.
Mr.Terrific is not here for talking, for giving voice prints, for video. He is getting his ass under cover and gone. if whoever wants to talk, they can send a watcher spirit, and have a fixer contact him anonymously or something.
«Plot» Diego says, "Terrific is running away. The rest of you?"
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "The guy is dead…we are sure this is the guy?"
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "No way it could be a double or something?"
Wanderer thinks "You killed Gavin, that was not very nice." is an ominous as hell way to start a conversation.
Wanderer feels whoever is on the other end of that botched their etiquiette.
«Plot» Diego says, "The face matched, but you never knew the name."
Commlink-Fairplay> Mr.Terrific says, "At this point I'm not going back to an active pocsec taking data on my and a blinking thing on a door that could be a bomb or a camera or both. If it wasn't him, it's the Johnson's fault for giving us bad information."
For those with good hearing, or who have not sprinted away, the icon continues to talk, though it sounds like its not focused on you now. "Yes, 911? I'd like to report a murder, uh huh, yes, 129933 Woodcrest Drive. Please hurry!" Then there is laughter.
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "Camera know…I don't think so. Alarm or tripwire, maybe…"
Commlink-Loxley> Wanderer says, "Let's have this discussion in the comfort of a cafe."
Wanderer picks up his brass, packs up his ass, and uses the movement power to head the fuck away.
Bigman nods and turns to head away from the cabin. "Time to move…"
Mr.Terrific continues his escape. When a mile or two away, he unmasks, and makes sure there's no blood on him and so forth. Had to leave the pocsec, alas.
Wanderer heads towards the vehicle in a circuitous route, scouting it out before approaching.
Commlink-Biggie> Bigman says, "Alright…lets move…"
Mr.Terrific mental-notes - be invisible before walking up on such things in the future. Although the hermetic circle might have screwed that plan.
Bigman makes his way back to his bike. Making sure he's left no sign of him personally…no spells fire, no aura. None of his guns fired, no brass…Perhaps a camera pic, but there isn't much he can do about that now.
You all move really fast due to the elementals movement power. You get back to your vehicle within a minute or two, and likely well away from the scene by the time the cops show up, of course, your not hearing any sirens yet.
Mr.Terrific will change clothes in the car, into his cowboy duds, and stow t'others in the concealed location; along with Wanderers items of dangerousness. He's not the map master so he doesn't know by what route the cops would go to that address, if at all (it might have been a gag, what 'runner sends cops to his pals location?) but he can hope that 'driving casual' with Wanderer will do it.
Wanderer gets into the back of the vehicle and lays down in the back, never turning his ruthenium off.
Mr.Terrific knows it has a 2-hour air supply and chemseal, so Wanderer is good for a nap.
To (Diego, Frostlog), Bigman pages: Calling Chloe my Security Decker. Want her to pull any information that may be on the Murder at 129933 Woodcrest Drive, off the books job.
To (Bigman, Frostlog), Diego pages: She will get back with you in an hour.
Wanderer is laying ontop of the hidden compartment, not in the thing. He gets claustrophobic in a city, a coffin would end him.
Bigman gets his bike, and drives. It's away from the scene. That's all. He'll avoid major roads, avoid direct routes.
To (Diego, Frostlog), Bigman pages: Hour may be too long…What will it cost for her to hurry it up?
To (Bigman, Frostlog), Diego pages: You need to roll etiquette then
«Auto-Judge[]» Bigman (#9958) rolls Etiquette (to Frostlog and Diego):

To (Bigman, Frostlog), Diego pages: She can get something in a few minutes, but it wont be much.
To (Diego, Frostlog), Bigman pages: Any information may be helpful.
As your pulling away you do pass a single cop car headed towards the cabin. It doesn't seem to be in a hurry, perhaps the cops are just relaxed, or maybe its not even about this.
Mr.Terrific is about as much of a paranoid bundle of nerves as someone might be if they were present and party to a murder for hire; tamped down by his willpower and meditative training techniques. He brings The Punisher to mind to center himself and let out all the stress. Wanderer is likely taking a nap in the back.
Wanderer snores.
To (Bigman, Frostlog), Diego pages: You get a call from your decker. "Police are investigating now, someone called it in, but they saw the call was blocked so they didn't rush to the scene. No information yet though, probably be late tonight before the report is filed."
To (Diego, Frostlog), Bigman pages: Watch it for me? I'll make sure she get fair compensation, and put her name on the top of the list next time I need a security decker.
«Plot» Diego says, "You have Diegos contact info, its secure."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "I believe it is time to check in and report."
Diego responds to the call. "Greetings, I've heard the good news. I knew you were the right group for this, your payment is available in credstick form back at the Ragdoll. I'll be waiting."
Wanderer makes his way there in due time, then heads back to his safehouse and continues to make his plans.
Mr.Terrific will report on the events honestly when back at the Ragdoll. "I will mention - he was inside a circle when we first laid eyes on him so he couldn't be assensed. After the hit, I went into the circle to look at him, and an icon came up from his pocsec. I was wearing a mask and gloves, but might have been caught on that little cam for a moment. Also, bigman spotted a blinking light from the house."
«Plot» Mr.Terrific says, "This assumes that the hit squad isn't there for me at the Ragdoll."
«Plot» Diego says, "You can wait and watch, but its clear. Diego pays you each, and sends you on your way saying there might be more work related to this in the next day or two."
«Plot» Frostlog says, "Closing Log"
