Log: Black Hat Friday

GM: Posh
Players: Bull, Blackheart, Murdock, Posh
Synopsis: Posh gets a tipoff from Rollo Doohrz that there’s a number of useful civilian drones, Ferret RPD-Vis, Butlerbots, and a Barback, being held in a distribution center under control of Reliant Security, in a low-response commercial zone. Posh organizes a heist of the civilian equipment: and they go for a stickup, shee?
Date: 11/28/2075

«Plot» Posh says, "This is a heist plot. Murdock already has a deal with Posh. Bull and Blackheart, you two cool with Posh paying you cash payout for the plot and nipping your gear reward? It's for civilian spec household drones. Theft. :>"

«OOC» Bull says, "Sounds fine to me."

«OOC» Murdock says, "Sounds cool to me"

«Plot» Posh says, "I also like to run with a little plot houserule, which is this: Everyone gets 6 karma pool (7 if human). Any object to that?"

«Plot» Posh says, "Opposition gets balanced to that."

«OOC» Murdock says, "I'm fine with that. Little bti of nicety for the guy on his first fun XD"

«OOC» Bull says, "I'm fine with that."

«OOC» Blackheart says, "okay back"

«OOC» Blackheart only has 6 Kp available after rolling poorly on a queue :/

Posh brightens as she turns off her pocsec, turning and handing it to Bull. "Would you mind crushing me? Actually, I was thinking that a cool move we could do together," she says, to the huge troll sharing the van with her, "might be if we sort of did a thing, where I just handed you pocsecs in front of people, and you just wordlessly crush them. Total power move like that," she says, all chirpy and excited.

She activates the van's master unit, and links in Blackheart, indicating the diner parking lot where the submachine gun packing mama can meet up with the rest of the crew. "Anyway. There's a new guy I was thinking we could use as fodd…uh, I mean, pointman, on these jobs," she says. "Plus, he wants a bike, and there's a few things my buddy Rollo told me about," she says, sending a trix message via cell network to Murdock to make himself available for pickup by a totally non-creepy color changing van at the same diner parking lot location.

"I've been wanting to get a few household and perimeter drones, and he mentioned a drop warehouse controlled by Reliant Security, where some rival road crews store some of their stash, before it gets sold into the black market," she says. "So that means we've got to go after some nine-to-fivers, probably decently equipped, no deaths," she explains. "We'll be hitting a warehouse likely retrofitted with basic security. I got an info packet ahead of time," she says.

The warehouse building is included with an attached office which has a normal door and quite clearly a camera on top, and a pair of big drive-in doors, likely with controls only on the inside, based on the mapping and overhead data Posh plugs into the system.

When the van arrives at the diner, and Murdock shows up, the back of the van doors open, and Posh is there with a massive troll and a grin on her face. "Come on in," she says, and also to Blackheart, shoving a taccomm and a tablet that contains her battlemap information - some milspec orientation gear, apparently used to organize street jobs.

"Anyway, this looks reasonably simple. Distribution warehouse, attached office, some electronic and physical security. Nothing magical that Blackheart likely can't handle," she says. "However, there's been a lot of crime and such in this area, a little of it our own, so we'd be looking at likely some background count," she says. "Pretty simple, then, rebounds, stealth, counter-surveillance," she says.

Bull grunts and nods, "If its just a bunch of rent-a-goons and some mild security, then I'm good with the no death things. I'll bring my beating stick, and some soft shots." He says with an idle nod, before snorting softly to Posh. "You want me to start breaking every pocsec you hand me, then I'll start breaking pocsecs." He says idly enough, the large Minotaur giving Murdock an idle nod.

Blackheart's waiting in the diner parking lot, her hands clapsed around a hot cup of coffee. It's below zero today, so her motorbike ride to the meetup was indeed a chilly one! She stamps her feet to keep warm and smiles as she spies the van pulling in, she turns to pick up the cardboard tray and small box of doughnut holes. "Hey everyone, brought some supplies," she says as she crawls into the van, holding out the coffee to everyone, and opening the box of all sorts doughnut holes. "What's the plan on this one? Just a simple warehouse heist?"

Posh stares at Blackheart, meaningfully, and solemnly, without saying anything, just hands her pocsec to Bull.

Murdock receives the message and makes his way to the diner, acvoiding the streets of the city for his preferred highway, the rooftops. It's not long before he leaping off the top of the diner and rolling, flowing with the movement until he seems to just slide into place leaning against a wall. He moves to the van when it pulls in, looking in to Posh and Bull. He nods back idly to the minotaur, his own hood and facemask still pulled up from his run. He accepts the coffee, lowering the cloth facemask that obscured his moouth and nose to take a sip.

Bull gives the think a very thorough crunch, with a squeeze of his meaty hand. He doesn't even look at Posh, just wrecks the small pice of tech.

Murdock does also look to Blackheart, smiling a bit. "Thank you for the coffee, ma'am." he then keeps sipping at the hot liquid, before looking back to the elf and rather intimidating friend.

Blackheart arches an eyebrow at Posh's death stare and looks to see Bull crushing the pocsec. She winces, "Okay, okay, no more doughnut holes," she says, setting the tray of coffee down as she sits back in her seat. She's sipping her coffee when Murdock ma'am's her and she spits it out. "Ma'am? Oh jesus, pal, I'm not that old yet!"

Posh brightens. "Of course I want donut holes!" She grins. "Donut holes are for winners, after all," she says. "Would you say that pocsec thing, Blackheart, was what the colonials would call a 'baller move?" she asks. "Anyway, not to get off track, but yes," she says, nodding to Murdock. "Your job is going to be to try to give us an advantage. How do you feel about trying to sneak up to the roof, seeing if there's a way in, and to see if you can shut down that camera, or deal with the situation, from the inside?" she asks. "Open the doors for us to…rush in and shoot everything, but mapped out, and efficient," she says. "So your job is dangerous, but if you keep quiet, scout out the inside and the guys and mark them on that tablet, and mess with the security a bit, well, that'll be more than enough in my book," she says, with a grin. "How's that sound?" she asks. "Blackheart, of course you'll scour the magic world, and Bull…you drag my arse out of the fire if needed." She grins. "Sounds like we're all on the same page on this one, at least."

It's easy to take a quick driveby in the colorshifting van first, showing that there's indeed a pretty heavy security presence. Tough guys in shades and bulky suit coats, openly carrying submachineguns, are out front, while there's a couple of guys in what looks like light security armor up on the roof, with rifles. There's that camera over the door, but no visible drones.

«Auto-Judge[]» Posh (#11342) rolls Car vs TN 4 for "Driving cas'":
1 2 2 4 8 = 2 Successes

"Call me blackheart," Blackheart says, finding a napkin to wipe the back of Bull's seat. She shakes her head, chuckling, "'ma'am'"..

"And call me Bull. Call me sir, I'm liable to cuff you." He grunts, looking amused at Blackhearts reaction to Murdock. He glances over to Posh, and just tips his head. "Sounds good." He agrees idly. Bull usually does run the 'shit hit the fan' guy.

«Plot» Posh says, "The warehouse is kind of set back from the street, about thirty meters. The sides can be driven around, and there's a wall around the 'complex.' It's one story, but the single story is about oh…eight meters."

Murdock nods. "Blackheart and Bull. Got it. I'm Murdock." He looks to Posh and smirks, nodding. "Sounds like a usual day for me. Just make sure that Blackheart can let me know if I'm about to step onto anything magic. I'd rather not end up being painted all over the warehouse walls or something." He finishes his coffee, sighing. "Not one for technology.. might be able to bust the cameras if I can get to them, but I'm not one for computers or anything, so don't expect it to be pretty."

"Okay, if we park down the street a bit, I'll see what things look like on the Astral plane. If they have kitted out goons just hanging out on a friday afternoon, they've likely got a watcher or two." Blackheart says, before finishing a jelly filled and leaning back in her seat, her coffee secured in a cup holder. THe mage's eyes lid over and her body slacks as her spirit emerges to go on a quick scout of the area, lurking behind buildings, and getting views of the warehouse from many different angles.

«Auto-Judge[]» Blackheart (#12120) rolls Intelligence for "Astral scouting mission!":
2 2 3 3 3 7

A mage is a threat, but magical security is reasonably basic. The building itself seems to be warded, but there's nothing outside the building - clearly they took the moderate step of warding the interior side so that the building can be touched and grabbed onto without it.

The scouting mission only takes a moment or two, such is the speed of astral beings. Blackheart wakes back up with a gasp and she blinks, looking about for a moment. "Looks pretty basic. Wards on the building to prevent people sneaking in for a peek. What kind of a warehouse was this, again?"

«Plot» Posh says, "Looks like 2 in the office, 2 on the roof, and 3 kinda patrolling outside."

Posh nods. "They can, though, if they just don't have an active spell, right?" she asks. "I've got an extra ruth cloak that he can wear for camo," she says. "Could Murdock sneak up to and onto the roof under the cover of one of your spells?" she asks Blackheart. "Bull, what do you think of those guys? How easily could we take them? Response here isn't right away, but I want to make sure we have more than a minute to load up, worst case."

Murdock looks to Posh, nodding. "I'd appreciate the extra hel form the camo. Magic would be cool, too." He looks to Bull, then Blackheart, then Posh. "Should I just slip in, or start knocking guys out as I come across them?"

"Eh." Bull rolls his broad shoulders. "I could probably beef my way on in through the front door, or take your pick of the windows. I ain't too concerned they are gonna be much of a match for us. What were they packin' for heat, Blackheart?"

"I just got a count, it's difficult to tell gear from the Astral plane. On the drive by, it looked like the real difficult ones were up on the roof, those guys by the gates just had SMGs." Blackheart thinks for a moment and nods her head, "Yeah, I can help Murdock get up there," she says confidently before looking to Posh, "Are you able to pick up their comm chatter? If they're in constant contact we'll have to coordinate our strike, otherwise, Murdock can knock them out as he sees fit."

«Auto-Judge[]» Posh (#11342) rolls Electronics vs TN 7 for "R8 scanner vs R4 taccomm":
3 5 5 16 17 = 2 Successes

«Auto-Judge[]» Posh (#11342) rolls Electronics + 1 vs TN 7 for "vs encryption":
1 3 4 5 5 16 = 1 Success

Bull grunts and nods, "So what. You two take roof, and I'll bring everyone front side with a distraction? Or we going quiet mode on this one?"

Posh nods. "I'd imagined Murdock going in alone," she says. "And then weakening the security systems somehow, then hiding until he's in a good spot to ambush someone. So, sort of like…going loud-ish, with suppressed SMGs, once he's had a chance to create a crack in the nut for us," she says. "All right. I'll have their comms in about twenty minutes, so if you want to do last preparations, get that spell ready, that'd be grand." She flashes a quick grin.

Posh nods to Bull. "Anyway, once we have them taken down on site, we can bring up the van, load it, and hopefully be gone before any response arrives."

Bull tips his head. "Sounds good. Let me know when you want me storming the fort.'

"I could cloak us both and fly us up there. I didn't see any spirit watchers, so unless one of those goons is a closeted mage, they shouldn't see anything. Then, I could drop him off, or help him out, which do you think is better? The closer I get to people, the more like they'll hear me moving."

She grins at Murdock. "You'll have a better chance once you're inside. There's only two guys in the office, it seems, and if you can take them down quiet that'll be a huge help. But remember, your goal is to shut down the electronic security first."

"Okay," Blackheart grins, "I'll ferry you up there, try to stay out of site of the roof top guards while you sneak in and get to concussing the office drones."

«Plot» Posh says, "Background Count 2"

Blackheart is about to start her spell, and she furrows her brow. "We should drive down the street a bit, this area's pretty rough for background count. Let's hit up a park and I'll anchor my spells in my focii.

Posh nods. "All right," she says. "I think there's one not too far from here, a little bit of green space beside a school," she says.

Posh drives the van over there to Blackheart can get setup, before she goes back to an alley near the target location, to park the van temporarily.

"It looks like…" Posh nods thoughtfully. "All right. It looks like we're in their comms. I've got seven notes on the network, so they're likely linked up. So that means, they'll be able to be in touch with each other. So they'll likely be able to gang up on any response," she says. "All right, that means stay out of sight or fight when you're inside, Murdock. With the cameras and panicbutton down though, they likely won't even be able to call for help right away."

«Plot» Posh says, "When you're ready - state your approach up to the warehouse. :)"

«Auto-Judge[]» Blackheart (#12120) rolls Sorcery + 5 vs TN 5 for "Improved Invisibility F2, sustaining focus, BC1.":
1 1 2 2 3 3 4 4 4 4 5 15 = 2 Successes

«Auto-Judge[]» Blackheart (#12120) rolls Sorcery + 5 - 2 vs TN 5 for "kp 1":

«Auto-Judge[]» Blackheart (#12120) rolls Willpower vs TN 3 for "soaking M drain, need 4 for soak.":
2 3 4 5 9 10 = 5 Successes

Murdock nods, cracking his knuckles. "So, take down the security first, then get to fighting? Got it." He pops his neck and looks to the others. "I'll make sure you all have an opening."

Blackheart nods her head as they pull up to the park down the road a bit. She gets her mirror shades out and slides them on, using her magic to make Murdock and her invisible. The spell leaves them just on the edge of perception, where only the most acute of guards will be able to sense their approach.

Posh gives a grin as she sees Murdock wink out of existence, a process that still never fails to unnerve her a bit. She shakes her head a touch, and then nods to Blackheart. "All right," she says, sitting tight. "Let's see how he does in creating an opening for us," she says.

As Murdock sneaks his way out, he sees the two patrolling guards there, as well as the two guys on the roof with Equalizer short-range rifles.

«Auto-Judge[]» Posh (#11342) rolls 5 vs TN 2 for "resisting II F2 Guard2":
1 2 2 5 13 = 4 Successes
«Auto-Judge[]» Posh (#11342) rolls 5 vs TN 2 for "resisting II F2 Guard5":
1 3 4 7 8 = 4 Successes

Blackheart nods her head as they pull up to the park down the road a bit. She gets her mirror shades out and slides them on, using her magic to make Murdock invisible. The spell leaves him just on the edge of perception, where only the most acute of guards will be able to sense his approach. "Okay, be sure to get this back to me," she says, as she slides her necklace over Murdock's head.

«Plot» Posh says, "Both Guard2 and Guard5 are unaffected by the spell."

Murdock smiles to her and winks. "Don't worry, I'll make sure it stays safe, Blackheart." He then climbs out and works to move his ass to get to the wall as quietly as he can.

«Auto-Judge[]» Murdock (#5693) rolls Stealth:
1 2 5 5 7 11

«Auto-Judge[]» Posh (#11342) rolls 5 vs TN 12 for "Bonuses, camo Guard2":
1 2 3 3 9 = 0 Successes

«Auto-Judge[]» Posh (#11342) rolls 5 vs TN 12 for "Bonuses, camo Guard5":
1 1 1 2 2 = 0 Successes

Murdock is able to slip past the three guys out front and sprint up the side of the building, clearing over. Neither of the two guys up there notice him either. Up here, Murdock can see that there is a simple access hatch leading into the building.

«Plot» Posh says, "Murdock roll Intelligence"

«Auto-Judge[]» Murdock (#5693) rolls Intelligence:
1 2 4 5 8

Murdock can see the telltale modules of a motion sensor that seems to cover the area around the hatch.

Commlink-Posh> Posh sends, « Keep us in the loop - what are you seeing up there? »

Commlink-Murdock> Murdock sends, « I'm still a shadow, but the hatch has motion sensors. »

Commlink-Posh> Posh sends, « If you move slow enough, you should be able to get past them. I'm thinking those rifle guys will have great fields of fire and have their situational awareness around their ankles. Once you shut something down, prioritize those guys, I'm thinking. »

«Plot» Posh says, "If you are going to try to slow-mo the motion sensors, Quickness TN 5."

«Auto-Judge[]» Murdock (#5693) rolls Quickness vs TN 5:
1 2 3 5 5 7 = 3 Successes

Murdock lets out a slow breath as he works to drop the spell from his body so he didn't set off the ward.

Murdock is able to descent down the opening without triggering any sort of alarm. After descending the stairs, he finds himself in a simple hallway, with three doors. One is clearly labeled as a bathroom; the other two are simple interior doors, no locks, which correspond to the warehouse proper, and the little side office. So this, then, is how someone goes to the bathroom or the warehouse or the roof from the side office.

Murdoc's scouting also proves that there is no apparent dedicated security room; likely these functions are in a terminal somewhere.

Commlink-Murdock> Murdock sends, « I'm in. Got a few doors. One's a bathroom, the others are unmarked. Terminal's gotta be in one of them. »

Commlink-Jett> Blackheart sends, « Oh, you gotta take one out on the way to the bathroom! »

Commlink-Murdock> Murdock sends, « Got it. I'll make him just seem like he's takign a while. »

Murdock moves to the bathroom, getting inside and then moving to be behind the way the door will swing.

Boredom and bad food combine, it seems. A few minutes after Murdock, no longer invisible, enters the bathroom, he can hear the door opening. "Crap, that was a terrible burrito," Posh hears over the infiltrated comms, and Murdock gets to hear in realtime.

«Auto-Judge[]» Posh (#11342) rolls 6 vs TN 4 for "Guard7 Reaction":
2 2 5 7 9 11 = 4 Successes

«Auto-Judge[]» Murdock (#5693) rolls Reaction vs TN 2:

«Plot» Posh says, "He cannot use combat pool in his defense, because surprise."

«Auto-Judge[]» Posh (#11342) rolls 4 vs TN 4 for "Counterattack, surprise":
1 3 9 11 = 2 Successes

«Plot» Posh says, "What's Unarmed Power?"

«Auto-Judge[]» Murdock (#5693) rolls Initiative with a result of 26.

2 2 3 3 3 4 4 4 5 11 = 5 Successes

The guard is totally surprised as Murdock assaults him, and cannot even react as he's pushed off balance by the ferocious attack exploding out of the bathroom stall!

«Plot» Posh says, "Your action. You can run away from him back out the bathroom door, to the office where there's only one guy, or you could continue to assault him. He has a taccomm clipped to his belt: likely it's the type you have to stop to lift up to your ear to use."

Murdock rushes out from behind the door, slamming his elbow into the man's torso, then twists to sweep his leg out at the man's legs, tryign to take them out from under the asshole.

Murdock's attack doesn't cause serious damage, but he sure takes him to the ground, straight away! The man falls heavily to the floor, clearly giving Murdock an advantage.

«Auto-Judge[]» Murdock (#5693) rolls Muay Thai + Combat Pool: 2 vs TN 4:

«Plot» Posh says, "He takes M wound."

The man struggles as he's kicked on the ground by the desperate assault of Murdock, but he's not doing very well. He can't get clear to get to his comm until he opens up some space, and the guy's on top of him knocking his lights out.

«Auto-Judge[]» Posh (#11342) rolls 5 vs TN 8 for "Vs Murdock, prone, M wound":
1 2 2 3 5 = 0 Successes

Posh winces as she hears the biffs and bammfs over the comm. "All right," she says, opening up the van door, her cloak on, her hood up, rebounds loaded into the SMGs. "We're moving. Let's hope he took down that security."

Murdock deftly avoids the flailing of the man, then lifts his leg up high, bringing it down, hopefully onto his head.
Blackheart frowns, "Can you hear an alert on their comms?" she wonders, "He might still pull this off."

«Auto-Judge[]» Murdock (#5693) rolls Muay Thai + Combat Pool: 2 vs TN 4:

Posh shakes her head. "No, you're right. No alert yet," she says, with a nod.

«Auto-Judge[]» Posh (#11342) rolls 5 vs TN 2 for "Vs 6S":
3 9 10 14 14 = 5 Successes

The injured man, fighting Murdock desperately, takes another glancing blow, fighting back hard, but he's clearly not having a particularly fun time. Still, Murdock has all the advantages, and it's all the man can do to shakily get up to his feet.

«Plot» Posh says, "Murdock, last pass action?"

«Auto-Judge[]» Murdock (#5693) rolls Muay Thai vs TN 4:

The man continues to be brutalized about the face and head by Murdock, but he seems to be a comparatively tough cookie. Still, he doesn't seem to be that smart. He tries to break free from Murdock, reaching down for his radio…but he's quite a bit slower than the adept…

The man grunts in pain as Murdock manages to smash into him brutally. However, he's still up, it seems…, somehow, although he's much the worse for wear, He takes his last action, though, bringing his comm from his belt up to his ear. "Code Red!" is heard out…

It's also heard out the taccomms, as well, and all of the guards outside immediately seem to stiffen.

«Auto-Judge[]» Posh (#11342) rolls Stealth for "+12 ruth":

Murdock catches the guard's arm as he throws another failed punch, bringing his hand down like a hammer onto the forearmto snap it. he then weaves through the guard's elbow, bringing it locked back behind him. He brings his free elbow down hard on the base of the man's neck, then takes his skull and smashes it into the sink, through the ceramic. He breathes heavily, then adds a few more stomps onto the guard before running out to intercept the one coming down the stairs.

Some of Blackheart's bullets fly wide as one of the SMG armed guys takes two of her bursts right in the chest at just under forty meters, sending him flying back and quite clearly out of the fight for the next day or two…but the lack of blood means that this is a medevac, not a murder scene.

Murdock clearly hears the sound of a door being slammed open - clearly the other security guy from the office has entered the hallway. With that and the sounds of the guy on the stairs, it's clear Murdock will get outnumbered as he stays in the bathroom.

Blackheart comes around the corner first out of the three of them and starts blasting away. Her holographic targeting seems a bit glitched on the left side, but that poor schmuck on the right gets peppered with hard rubber bullets, zinging off of him like indian rubber balls. "Scratch one!" she says, careful not to mention all of her misses on the second guy.

«Auto-Judge[]» Bull (#4176) rolls Athletics vs TN 4 for " Gotta go fast":

«Plot» Bull says, "Complex action to maximize my speed. First pass to run at a dead sprint. Given my slowass self, I'm hoofing it about 30 meters in this turn."

«Plot» Bull says, "Meaning, 10 meters in this pass."

Posh sprints out just alongside Bull, losing a little distance as the powerful minotaur's long stride outpaces the rather rapid elf, her own SMGs out and ready to braaaaap, moving nearly as fast as the big guy.

The remaining guards still seem to be surprised, so they have no way of interdicting what's about to happen to them.

«Plot» Posh says, "Murdock and Blackheart, you're the only ones with actions left. What do you do in this circumstances?"

Bull moves at a dead sprint, SMGS drawn. He lets loose his battle cry, which is nothing more then a very deep roar as the Minotaur lowers his helmeted head. Those stubby stabby glorious horns sticking out of the top of Ares HD2 helmet are /not/ for show. "IMMA FUCK YOU UP BITCHES." The 'Taur glowers on his way in. Because Bulls job is to get shot at, and he likes to sound scary. It makes him feel better about himself.

Murdock rushes to the man on the stairs, moving to intercept him and sweep the legs from under the guard, hoping a bit of tumble down the stairs may help out the freerunner.

Bull is a large amount of meat, moving at a pretty damn fast pace. And even at this dead sprint his arms go up like gyro-mounted turrets and track onto the roof-ninja. The twin BRAAAAPS of his silenced weapons fill the air. Hey, at the very least the guy kept his head down. Bull is still moving, a few hundred Kilograms of trucking 'Taur heading right for the building in the open, no cover.

Her cover fire gets excessive as the two standing guards are quaking with fear at the charting minotaur. They watch as their comrade gets gunned down, going down in agonizing pain as he's pelted with rubber bullets. They barely have enough time to dive for cover when Blackheart reacquires targets, her smartgun sensor finally getting aligned as she zeros in on the two standing guards, peppering them with fire that has them doing a funny little dance before they're knocked out of commission for the fight.

Murdock works to try to take care of this guard as quick as he can.

Murdock is surrounded by two gentlemen. There is an unconscious man right over by the bottom of the stairs, slumped over the large pistol in his holster: A Colt Manhunter, apparently, the blue magazine likely indicating the nonlethal rounds favored by security personnel in sidearms. Fewer chance of lawsuits.

The guy Murdock's fighting is lucky, tough, or a bit of both. In any case, he manages to bring down his rifle at the last second to block Murdock's attack, intercepting the sweep of the adept while the sounds of a rampaging bull tearing through the office seem to be heard now.

Bulls arms retract from shooting when he gets as close as he is to the building. The nearly 250 kilograms of Troll lowers his head and shoulders and runs headlong into the door of the building. The little carbine's action speaks twice, but two bullet holes appear in the wall, and none in Murdock! Seems like the melee assault might have put that guy off his balance for an effective attack.

Meanwhile, the other guard, in security armor like the first guy and bearing a SMG, turns as he hears the charge of the bull, widening his eyes and opening up with a panicky pair of bursts right in Bull's direction.

Bull does his best Kool-aid man impersonation, the door flying apart as he bursts inside. His helmet swivels one way, then the other. He spies at the far end of the hallway the fight on the stairs and he starts to move in that direction. The bursts of bullets into his side hardly phase him, and he just turns his head with annoyance towards the shooter. He has been marked. But Bull is on a mission, and the hurtling Troll continues straight down the hallway towards Murdock and his adversary.

Posh holds back, instead of following Bull, she sends a command for the van to pull up to the warehouse doors, seeing it edge out of the nearby alley a few moments later. She listens - not hearing any rotodrones quite yet, she figures it's still worthwhile to get thing moving. «Remember…keep updating, keep things moving. How many left? 5 taken out so far.»

As the rest of the outside guards seem to go down, Blackheart breaks out of cover and runs in towards the building, there might be one or two more that are unaccounted for and she wants to be in cover in case they show up!

«Plot» Posh says, "Murdock, sorry, you're up, I mean."

Both of those fists manage to smash into the rifleman's face, as Murdock bashes his way in. Perhaps Murdock's presence here, drawing three of the security on his own during the assault, really helped turn the tide here. In any case, the surprised rifleman looks much more shaken now.

«Plot» Posh says, "Roll it, Bull.."

The guard with the submachine gun steadies himself, aiming at Bull a little more carefully as the running battle engine assaults…

Bull sprints towards the bottom of the stairs, and finally /finally/ stops running as he raises his SMGs. Braaap. Its almost anticlimatic. The broad 'Taur drops the man Murdock was fighting against with his first shot, and if his posture could describe disappointed it… That'd be it. Ping, ping, thud. The bullets collide with Bulls back and he shifts forwards just slightly before dismissing them without even turning around. "You alright, boyo?" He calls to Murdock before calmly turning around. "Lets go. Stay behind me."

Commlink-Bull> Bull sends, « I got the rookie. Coming out. One more shooting. »

The explosive rounds chew brutally into the tough bull's flesh, his augmented torso eating up almost all of the well placed rounds, digging into his flesh a bit. He doesn't even lose a drop of blood as the last scratches heal almost instantly.

«Don't forget to open the warehouse door» replies Posh, over the comms.
Murdock breathes heavily, then kicks the man that just got knocked out right in the teeth. He looks to the minotaur, then just nods, moving to join him.

Murdock successfully increases the after-action dental bill of the man.

Blackheart gets to the door to the warehouse and gives the open area a quick once over, looking for any stockboys that might be hiding out. "Okay, the van's almost pulled up," she says, looking over the inventory all crated up. "Do you have the labels of what we're looking for?" she asks, holstering her weapons as she gets ready to help loot the warehouse.

Posh nods at Blackheart, apparently thrilled. "Too right," she says. "But Bull said he was handling it. Let's hope handling it means the shooting stops soon," she says. "It'll be a few household drones, and I thought this would be cheaper than Ares-Mart."

Murdock looks to Bull. "Let me go and take care of him. I fucked up, let me make up for it by helping you take care of the last one."

Bull quirks a brow unseen behind his helmet. "You get fucked up, I don't get paid kid." The big 'taur grunts. Its not a 'no', but from the way he is walking its pretty clear he doesn't expect to not get paid. He is starting to raise SMGs to finish off the remaining man… but Murdock /is/ faster then him.

Bulls arms both come up as he strolls towards the man face down on the ground, and checks him over idly. He glances back to Murdock. "Well, not to fucking shabby." He grunts. Bulls jacket is still smoking from the explosive rounds that impacted on him, tearing synthflesh and burning fur, but his cybertorso held. He tips up the visor on his helmet for the first time to reveal his Minotaur face as he appraises Murdock. "You didn't fuck the pooch too badly on that one. Job got done."

The last guard goes down hard under the volley of Bull's devastating attack.

It's pretty easy to open the warehouse door and find the internal door control, and in the warehouse is the container Rollo'd tipped her off to: it appears to be a number of drones, already packaged likely for private sales, or off market deliveries. None of it is milspec or anything like that - it's all corp perimeter or assistant drones, high end household stuff, but Posh looks pleased as punch before she goes to quickly deck into the security terminal and delete footage from the over door camera. «Well, not quite according to plan, but it never is. Cool heads and good work, everyone. Shall we say drinks on me, afterwards?»

And then, with minutes to spare before the first rotodrone, and nobody in dire trouble, they smooth out, the sirens of EMTS instead of coroners to arrive soon, leaving everything all messy and more embarrassing than enraging for Reliant.

Seems like Posh has grinched someone's Christmas.
