Vision Enhancers

Denver Shadowrun MU* uses custom rules for vision magnification gear. What follows is a listing with the new costs and availabilities for these items, with expanded options and modifications. NOTE: If installing multiple mods on a single unit, multiply the final cost by half the total number of mods present (round up). Use the highest availability of all the mods together and the Street Index modifies the individual items prices. Laser Designator Good for 500m. Use the rules on p14 of M&M. Vision Magnification The standard magnification used by binoculars are not properly focused/powered to use when firing. FUP, wireless A wireless FUP has an integrated transmission device rather than using a standard data cable. The rating of the FUP must be at least the rating of the device attached. See FUP for the transmission device table. The transmission device doesn't count as an extra system. Memory Memory counts as a single modification. Max MP of 500 for binoculars, 200 for goggles, 50 for sunglasses. Ultrasound This is just the receiver. You must also have an emitter to use ultrasound sight. This is usually mounted on a gun. Monocle This is just half of the goggles, covering one eye - the sort you see jewelers or dentists wearing sometimes. These can take modifications, but if the mods are used in combat, they may impose a +2 modifier like the astral perception modifier for the confusion of displays.
