Broadcast Encryption

Perhaps even more important than having a communications device itself is having one with broadcast encryption¹. Without it, you might as well run out into a police station and yell all your plans at the desk sergeant. Broadcast works to scramble transmissions so that in theory only those with the proper keys can understand them. That way you and your pals can conduct business in reasonable safety.

How to use it

• Purchase broadcast encryption for your communications device
• The strength of the encryption is determined by the Encryption Rating
• Encryption reduces the device's Flux rating by 0.5

Test Results

• No roll is necessary, one must merely activate it.
