Djotto Serri, Coastal Frontline Zone, Friday April 24 2080

The Tir had been acting swiftly and with the more combat experienced troops their first attack, despite having been expected, was also the first time many of those ork boys got under actual fire in a war. Things didn't go well for them especially as their commander, General Ralph 'Bone Crusher' Moxton, was killed by a surgical strike operation. Lacking general guidance the frontline was just barely holding due to simple mass of troops on the orks side. However, the elves, had made a grave mistake they could not have been aware of. Johnathan Elo, youngest of the four missing kids of Kika "Weeko" Elo had been inside the same truck the general had been in, waiting to serve as a message runner or to assist with something the general needed. The mother had the unremarkable bad luck of seeing her son die in that strike. A runner by nature she didn't think long. Suppressing her sorrow she moved out, guns blaring as she shot down the commando units that had just killed the general and her son. She took the generals, mysteriously still intact external battle tac unit and had a look at the situation. Used to lead her own small community for a decade now and having gained quite some experience in (small unit) tactics during her runner career she started ushering commands in quick succession, not even caring if she had the right to do so. If she didn't act quickly here, she risked losing her all her children. Her decisiveness saved the ork lines that day, setting up 'her' ork fighters to use the hit and run tactics she herself had used to such great effect in her runner times. In the end it is the Tir withdrawing from the conflict. And to make matters worse, at some serious loss of terrain, as Weeko's forces, had taken some critical strategical positions, finally allowing her some time to breathe.

Only then did the middle aged ork woman collapse on her chair. She was quickly aided by the young officers in presence by then.

It was time for some mourning for Elo now, as her new second in command received an urgent oder from Reno, "Recruit her! We need her!", in no uncertain sharpness, together with her field promotion to general. Should she accept it.
