Tues Mar 6 2072 1,602,000 cubic hectares is a lot of water. It's a lot of water indeed. Lake Berryessa, in Northern California, inside the Japanese Protectorate territory. Long a haven for sportsmen and boaters, it has been off-limits since the Japanese took over. Colonel Noboru Tanaka maintains the Internment Division's HQ on Berryessa Island, an upthrust in the middle of the lake. It's a nice place to be, all told, when you're committing genocide. Picturesque, even. |
