CAS District // The Rustbelt // Abandoned Factory Lot

A group of runners lend their talents to two opposing parties: Lazarus Jones, The Griffin in his so-called care, and the famous/infamous runner known as "Air" to some in pursuit.

It all comes down to the belching smoke stacks of discarded heaps of metal in this bleak industrial section of Denver.

Air and company head south - a lucky shot strikes a waiting helicopter for extraction of The Griffin. A luckier shot hits Air from a crane above. Air tuck/rolls off a rooftop. His friend floats him below. The sniper tucks in and attempts to hide. A distraction for the runner, his colleague (a powerful mage) spots Laz running away from the duo. Suddenly- fire and magical explosives surround them. A trap? They float above the toxic fire and smoke. There- 50 yards away tucked behind a warehouse, a quiet helicopter. A shot aimed, a shot fired- the helicopter's engine block makes a high whine. Elsewhere, locals begin to dial for fire emergency services.

CAS District // The Rustbelt // Abandoned Factory Lot

As Air and his friend cover the helicopter, waiting for it's occupants to leave, another gunman fires a burst at Air. Years of training boil down to this one moment. Laz closes his eyes and hopes to attain acceptance in the the homeland.

What goes down next is the stuff of legends, heresy, and rumor. Powerful forces converge as lives hang in the balance. Only the survivors will truly know…..but Kate Mustaffah, she remains missing.

Orktown // The Warrens

The tide turns. Conchita, Dorian, Aladriel, Wire, Melody. Sinners and Saints. A suicide squad counter-attacks Greenwich's frontline in Orktown. The crime lord left a flank open, never suspecting the watchers, patrolling skeleton crew, and occasional mines wouldn't deter.

Rooftop snipers are gunned down by magic and assault weapons. Grenades cook off heavy armored mercenaries at chokepoints. The Big House stands before the group as luck turns their way.

Tir Taingire // PCC Border // One mile east of Boise Border Check Point

The driver sweated non-stop from the warmth of the isotopes in the passenger seat. They said it was somehow salvaged.

Sheep-dipped. Ready to sacrifice all for the Rinelle ke'Tesrae. He'd made contact in Cheyenne with the last surviving cell member after an Earth Elemental had torn through the warehouse. It was go time. The cut-out in Denver said so. He got closer, his grip tightened white knuckle and gunned the engine.

White light. White heat. Hundreds will be dead inside the PCC.

The driver's last thoughts were of his children, gunned down by Surehand's "Peace Force".

Orktown // The Warrens

The Squad splits into two - distraction and extraction. Conchita, Dorian, and Fred break into The Big House. Big Changes. Caged people. Dead bodies. Mysterious work stations. A showdown upstairs.

Fred/Wire prevents a dead man's switch. Conchita grabs some garbage file that's anything but. And…Dorian pulls the trigger on Nigel Greenwich - the shadowy figure is at last put to rest. A bloody cackle his last words. Still - strangeness afoot. By nights end, the battle ends….Lone Star HTR teams and News choppers hover high above. The South Warrens a huge mess. But a chapter has finally closed….
