Common Knowledge Shay is a fixer within the Denver shadows, possessed of a murky background rumored to involve terrorist activities in the Middle East. Her family is reported to be originally from Denver, and it's said that she comes from shadowrunner stock. She is intelligent, charming, and capable, but also rumored to be possessed of a nasty drug habit. One has as good a chance of finding her at exclusive clubs as slumming in Aurora. She knows people, and those people know people. She's calm and collected, if a little moody, and definitely more than easy on the eyes. A lot of her contacts stretch all the way back to childhood, or so the story goes, and it's thought that she's something of a shadowrunning princess, descending from parents who were heavy hitters back in their day. What's not entirely known is what she did with her time in the Arabian Caliphate. She claims to be a recent arrival from that part of the world, and speaks the language like a local. Even her English has a bit of an accent. She doesn't like talking about it, but sources suggest she was on the wrong side of just about everybody, except maybe the fundamentalists. What a girl like that is doing shaking it in Denver's night spots is anyone's guess. Unconfirmed reports suggest the Arabian Caliphate, or agents thereof, are actively seeking her out, and there is certainly more than one Islamic terrorist group who would very much like to get their hands on her. Thus far she has evaded capture and seems intent on starting a new life in Denver. Or possibly an old life, if her claims of being from the city are to be believed. She has a nasty novacoke habit, one which she tries to keep strictly separated from her professional operations. She is a competent actress and mistress of disguise, and when she goes to Aurora to buy, she usually looks like any of the hundreds of other squatters, junkies, and hookers living in the region.
