| The channels to get signed up for the tournament run through the trix Shadowlands. Much akin to the setup of the unarmed tournament earlier this month, the rules are somewhat different and what little 'rules' that exist were explained within it. The contestants are signed up through the 'trix and no initial location is given for the first fight. Instead they are notified that they will be sent a GPS location within the Warrens, a time to be there, and an opponent.
Early on a Saturday morning, the respective communits of Holtzclaw and Viktor go off. The text comes from the 'Conductor' and provies everything that was promised: A GPS location, a picture of the opponent, and a time to be there. Against the current time, it only gives the two 20 minutes to arrive there. If punched into a mapsoft or simple trix search, the GPS location is within a derelict building in the Warrens. The old Wal-Mart building, a relic from an era past, that is little more than a shell of it's former self that houses a community of squatters and worse.
Calavera stands off to the side now, watching the fights as they progress. She's sitting on an overturned display rack, cleaning the sword she just won.
Viktor shows up at the Wal-Mart with a bottle of rice-liquor in one hand. His eyes float up to the Wal-Mart sign and he whistles before stumbling toward the entrance. On the way, he drops his GPS and it clatters across the pavement as he accidentally kicks it. "Whoopsie….*hic*…"
Viktor stumbles through the front door, his dazed glare passing over the crowd of squatters that populate the front, by the checkout. The elf holds up the bottle and looks at the "Twenty items or less" sign and heads towards the long ago abandoned checkout counter.
Calavera darkly dark dark darks something, as she casually fixes her makeup.
Holtzclaw arrives at the scene in a Chrysler-Nissan P-1, stepping into the Wal-mart and lighting up a clove cigarette as he parks, smoking a few hits before putting it out in one of the ashtrays out front. He steps through the doors and lets out a deep sigh, stepping through the crowd to find the pictured contestant he was to face. He stumbles into Viktor and looks to the wine he had just sat down "Ah a man that likes a good drink?"
Glazed over eyes look up to consider the other keeb. Viktor cocks his head and smiles, his face red and flushed. "*hic* Guess you could say so….*hic…" He pushes himself off the checkout, to a standing position, leaning on the bottle to keep himself standing. "Why wuz I here again?" Viktor leans dangerously to one side, threatening to topple over.
As the contestants arrive— there is a local broadcast channel that is opened up for betting. Right now it looks like there are even odds, 1:1. At the very top of the channel is a marque that scrolls text saying the following: Criticalfault's Fixing services - For when you need just the right item to put the Fault right in your opponents Critical!
Given the iconic and audial nature of the dystopian future, a little icon also speaks it to those with ear buds (or speakers) in a multitude of languages.
«Plot» AdamLOG2 says, "Environmental Effects: A Player may utilize the enviroment's many shelves, rafters, walls, hobos, etc to gain an 'Advantage' bonus as described in the books. This requires a Complex Action and exists until the opponent spends a Complex Action to neutralize it (by gaining the advantage themselves or removing it). This does not stack, so the most you can ever have is the -1 TN as described in SR3. You can not both have the 'Advantage' at the same time, think 'Reach' for Environmental manipulation."
The same icon as last time, a wounded World War 2 soldier connects to the fight's server, checks the fighters and odds…wait a second, the fighters? »Specs« checks out Viktor carefully. This time he makes a more conservative bet. 1000 on Viktor. He's actually seen Viktor fight before, whether that's a good thing or not remains to be seen.

Holtzclaw nods to the guy and steps forward looking around "Well I suppose we should get ready" He steps more towards the center and readies himself for combat.
Viktor staggers toward the center of the ring. "Yee-esh…ready…" Viktor miraculously remains on his feet as he reaches what seems to be the place he wants to begin. He takes a swig from bottle and then drops it on the ground, where it falls on its side and pours onto the dirty floor.
The elf staggers to one side in a loose and wobbly cat stance, his hands held up in front of him, palms down. "O-kayy, buddy…lesseeee whatcha got…"

Viktor wobbles to one side and his boot slips on the puddle of wine beneath him. Falling backwards, out of control, he slams into a tall stack of shelves, knocking it over. Two or three of these fall over like dominoes and the elf, unable to control himself, backs up the small hill of shelves, standing atop it. Stunned to still be standing he wobbles around, his snake hands waving about like sick cobras that have had too much soy-sausage.
Calavera eyes Victor. Darkly. She makes a call on a cellphone, dialing by muffled voice.

Holtzclaw clenches his hand letting his claws out as he throws a swing towards Viktor, but doesn't connect the attack and stumbles forward some onto the edge of the shelf that was knocked over.
Viktor's eyes light up as he sees the hand razors flashing toward him. "Shiiinnyyy!" he says as he stumbles backward over the shelf mound. His hands strike out, one palm slapping the other elf's inner arm, making it tingle. Viktor wobbles and drops into a lower cat stance. "Kitty kitty!" he shouts with a stupid, drunken smile and he curls up his fingers, creating the fabled leapord paw fists.
Calavera stands up from her position, moving for the door… as there are several.

Viktor's arm arcs through the air like a scythe, the leapard fist turned on its side and shooting like a spear toward the other man's ribcage. The elf forgets where his front leg is, though and trips, crashing down the hill of shelves in a less than graceful attack.

Holtzclaw slams his cybered arm against the punch moving to the side hopping onto the shelf the rest of the way. He looks down to Viktor and gives a light sigh. while steadying himself again for defense.

The other elf's powerful swing bats Viktor around and he takes a few, fumbling steps forward. He looks like he's about to puke…but he sits down into a low horse stance, the leopard claws extending, his fingers curled up in a drunk mockery of a tiger claw. "Double Black Tiger Claw!" the red faced elf shouts, all of a sudden thrusting one claw out toward Holtz's throat and another toward his diaphgram.
The awkward footing of the shelves cause Holtz to stumble.. right into the other's fist and he takes a heavy blow to the thoat, then a second to the chest, knocking him back the way he came, next to an old can of peas?, apparently a can of whupass, and out cold.

Viktor winces when the Black Tiger Claw does not do what it is advertised to do. The angry elf is still up and Viktor turns and flees, putting checkout aisle number 10 between him and his opponent, knocking over a looted and burned cash register in his flight.

Holtzclaw swings again trying to get the attack to make it through. He misses again and stumbles as the momentum keeps him going forwards.
Viktor falls forward, tripping on a small stove some squatter left sitting. Holtz's attack knicks the back of his head on the way past him. When Vik regains his balance he stands up, retreating and letting the other elf come to him. Another transformation, and both Vik's hands fingers are pressed together, making his hands look like bird's heads. Twisting to the side, he reaches out and strikes Holtz in the temple with a quick peck.

Holtzclaw takes another beating falling off his feet onto the shelves. He looks up to Viktor and holds up a hand, a bit shakily and coughs "Alright alright.. You win, brawlings not much for me." He shakily goes to try and stand "You don't mind if I slide you a couple Nuyen for a shot to ease the pain do ya?" he looks over towards the register where the rice wine was let down when they walked in.
Viktor's recovered enough to sway back and forth, his hands hooded cobras again. He cocks his head. "Ya want some?" he looks back to the fallen bottle, still having some liquid in it despite the elf's initial dropping. "Sure…why not…" Viktor collapses backward and brings the candy shelves with him. His two legs, all that's visible from under the shelves, go still and in a few minutes, the sound of light snoring echoes from out of Vik's self-made metal cave.

Holtzclaw tilts his head to the man and fixes up a credstick with 50 Nuyen on it to lay on the guy. "Thanks for the fight.. and the shot" he nods and stumbles some over towards the door.
